Let me start by saying this: there is a reason this place has wonderful reviews!!!!!!! Hue is the…read moreowner, and she fully runs the place alone and she is the most personable and hard working woman I have met. Other than just being so kind and such a beautiful human, she truly wants to give each costumer exactly what they want. For instances, I was requesting very specific french tips for my manicure and she tested 3 different kinds of whites for me to choose from and tasted different shades of nude color and waited for me to make up my mind!!!! With each nail, she asked what I thought. I adore her and her work so much I even had her do my nails for my engagement photos!!!!! ALSO HUE'S PRICES wow they are so kind to someone like me living on a post grad budget. The one thing I want to be clear about: if you prefer a super chic, boujee, top-notch-clean salon- this isn't that. Come here for a fair price and for high quality service and nails I guarantee you'll be happy with. Hue will ASSURE you love your nails before you pay!

I came a week ago for a manicure. Today for a pedicure with my bestie…read more I love how they clearly communicate the prices and how to move my feet. Tammy has very strong hands! Not too much pressure but very good. She was the quiet type but warm and not distant. Lilly did my bestie pedicure and was so cheerful and positive. Very clearly communicated. The background music was pleasant and not too loud but I was distracted and Lilly made sure to clarify for me.

I really wanted to love this place. I had a nice experience when I walked past and waved Hello and…read moremade an appointment. But the actual appointment itself let me down. I'll explain why. When I arrived I had a couple of coats of polish on my nails and they asked me to put my hands into a bowl of acetone and they'd be right back. I waited 20 minutes with my nails soaking in acetone before she came back. I was very concerned as I'd never been told to leave my real nails in acetone that long. I did as I was told and after 20 minutes she came back and painted my nails. The polish looked pretty but the very same day it started to peel off like the kind of polish children use. It all just peeled right off. I kept thinking it was because my nail bed had absorbed so much acetone that the polish literally wouldn't stick. The very next day half of the polish peeled off on its own. The lifting and peeling polish was getting stuck in my hair when I'd run my hands through my hair and just come right off. It's been a week and my nails are just getting worse each day. I am uploading photos to show the damage to my nails which was caused by soaking my nails in strong acetone for 20 minutes. I want them to know that I'm disappointed because I paid $25 plus tip for polish that wouldn't stay on my nails for even 1 day - due to my nail bed soaking up the acetone. Also; my entire nail is disintegrating on each finger due to the harsh acetone stripping my nails of keratin. See image please. I just want them to know, so it doesn't happen in the future to other customers. +1 Stars: for the beautiful paint job. -4 Stars: to damage & polish peeling off on first day. PLEASE DO NOT SOAK REAL NAILS IN THE ACETONE YOU USE FOR REMOVING POLISH FOR 20 MINUTES. My nails are very damaged.
