Visited this Location a few times. Every time I go there, there is ALWAYS something wrong with this store; wether it's with the A/C not working, really long lines to check out with only one cashier working, or shelves not stocked with items. This last time I went with my family was no different!
OF COURSE the A/C wasn't working (as usual), so the inside felt like a Sauna! The Outside was a Hot and Humid 88 Degrees Sumer Day, but that was STILL much nicer than the inside of the store. And even though they had those Portable A/Cs throughout the store to try and keep it cool, ONLY ONE of them was turned on and working! (again, OF COURSE!) The rest for the busted portable A/C Units were just taking up space in the aisles making it difficult to shop.
Besides the A/C, the Dressing Room was "Broken/Out of Service". Don't know how a Dressing room could be "Broken" (unless someone actually physically Trashed and Destroyed the room), but since that section was closed, the Restroom was ALSO "out of service" too! My guess is that judging by the lone cashier running the front, they do not have enough staff to manage the dressing room area, so they just leave it "out of service".
Speaking of Lone Cashier, long lines at the front as usual due to not staffing one cashier at a time. This store is NOT one where you can just pop in and out if you need something quick. Be prepared to wait for a while to check out! Which, paired with the sauna-like heat from the store's broken A/C, it's extremely unbearable! It took me nearly 20 Minutes to checkout! Meanwhile my shirt was embarrassingly SOAKED with sweat and my wife had to take my mother outside in the Hot Sun to cool off before she fainted of Heat Stroke inside the Store! That's how bad it was.
However, once I finally made it to the Register, my experience would not be complete without the cashier informing me that they are all OUT of bags and I would have to carry my full cart of items by hand out of the store OR pay for some recycle bags. Luckily, I have my own reusable shopping bags and wouldn't have to fumble around carrying my items with my bare hands since Ross does not allow you to take their carts out of their Store to your Vehicle.
Speaking of which, since you cannot take the shopping carts outside of the store, there usually is a section right next to the Cash Registers for you to return your cart once you are done shopping. Unfortunately, the Cashier also informed me that that section (which was completely full!) is for the Broken Carts and was roped off. I would have to bring my cart to the other side of the store, by the entrance for them! At that point, all I wanted to do is just get out of the store before I too pass out from Dehydration and Heat Stroke.
Unless this Location makes some MAJOR Fixes and is CONSISTENT in their Maintenance, Merchandising, and Staffing, I don't think I'll ever go back.
