No issues with this Ross. I walked out of the storeo dressing for less. Found just what I needed, tried it on, and walked out with $27 less in my bank account. Staff was super friendly. read more

Easy to walk in to and look around , easy enough to read most price tags on each item. Got a jacket today . Easy check out short line was . Nice staff enough to check out didn't have problems. Lady checked me out just did her basic job didn't ask anything beside did I find everything today . I said so far yes . Easy to find the parking lot and one fitting room was closed. read more

This was one of the worst and most unsafe shopping experiences I've had at a Ross. During a single visit, I was physically hit twice by an employee pushing one of those huge black stock carts through the aisles. Instead of yielding to customers or waiting for space to clear, employees were plowing straight through crowded aisles, repeatedly bumping into shoppers and then apologizing after the fact. The employees pushing the carts spoke Spanish but no English and appeared unable to clearly communicate with customers, which only made the situation more chaotic and unsafe. The aisles were extremely cluttered with merchandise and carts, to the point where there was barely room for customers to walk, let alone safely maneuver large carts. Stocking was happening aggressively during peak store hours, not before opening or after closing, and it made the store feel dangerous rather than just busy. I felt rushed, unsafe, and completely disregarded as a customer. After being hit twice and seeing no effort to improve the situation, I finally gave up and left without purchasing what I came for. Ross is supposed to be a place to browse and find deals--not a place where customers risk getting hurt due to poor staffing practices and lack of aisle management. This store seriously needs better training, safer stocking procedures, and basic awareness of customer safety. read more

This Ross location is so convenient for me to stop at when I get off work & before heading home whenever I'm needing some good ol' fashion retail therapy, which is quite often!! :)) I really like this Ross location because the employees are very friendly & always greet you when you walk in w/ the "welcome to Ross" greeting w/ such enthusiasm & usually multiple employees will give you this greeting at the same time and I just love that! It ALWAYS puts a smile on my face! :)) This location usually has a great selection of inventory, kept clean, organized, and while not a huge store location, it is a good size. I usually shop at this Ross during the week when the shopping crowds aren't mad cow crazy but if you do shop on the weekend at this location at least they have enough parking space for everyone so no worries there! My favorite thing about shopping at Ross is the variety of items they carry and the prices are usually cheaper than some of their competitor's prices. To sum it up ...hi, my name is Rebecca and I'm addicted to shopping at Ross! ;) -Rebecca out read more

Tried to get last minute things for work 40 minutes before close (9:22 close at 10) and employees had locked up already with gates down. Knocked on door and they stared giving no explanation as to why they were closed. read more

They definitely have name brand items at clearance prices. However, when you try to return an item without a receipt. Even if you are not expecting cash back, they give you less than half of the amount that you paid for the item when you return it. I have no problem with that except if you are going to sell the item that I bought for $9 back to another customer for $9 but then you only gave me 3 dollars, which is a third of the item back. That makes no sense. Somebody is being scammed there and it is the customer. That whole thing with the return policy is a scam. I could understand if I wanted the cash back, but I did not. That is ridiculous. Ross, you gotta do better! read more

This location has some of the nicest, most helpful employees. The manager (don't know his name) is more than just nice. He's attentive, helpful, and hands on gentleman. read more

Rude customer service by Savannah. Kicked out about 12 customers right at 10:30 even though Google and their door had the closing hours posted at 11PM. Was very rude to the customers in front of us as well as giving attitude to us. Might've cost Ross more than a few bucks kicking people out early. If you don't want to work that late apply somewhere that closes at 9. read more

I never got in the door, which is why I'm giving them two stars instead of one. I wanted a standard office grade business casual turtleneck or pull on sweater, after Target didn't have any, it being mid September. I phoned what appears to be a store near me, being not certain where the store near me is located. The woman who answered spoke poor English, and didn't know what business she worked at, or where it was located, let alone if they have what I need. Eventually she went to get someone else who never came on the line. I tried again and someone came on who knew where she was but, as for stock, "oh yes, we have everything. Lots of stock". The web site has no search feature to find what the store has in stock, unlike Walmart. The web site does communicate that this store would be more likely to have peculiar and sporty stuff than standard clothing for work. Odd, quixotic clothing and, of all the things that should make me want to shop there, halloween decorations! While I was on the phone I saw all the complaints here about the store having only quixotic stock or no stock, not to mention unprofessional staff. I ordered a nice turtleneck sweater in my size on Amazon, I'll just have to hope it works. read more

Compared to other Ross stores, this one is positively ritzy. It's actually clean (especially the dressing rooms) and organized. Some of the clothes racks were even sorted by colour - very handy! I was specifically looking for a mattress pad... hit the jackpot as they had a whole shelf of them. I bought a name brand one at a nice discount. Sweet. read more

For there being other similar stores in the area, you would think Ross would step their game up, but this location proves they aren't in the front running. The parking is not the best and the selection is awful, some of the shelves are empty or nearly empty, the shoe selection is slim pickings in nearly every size except one every time. The store is always dead because there is nothing here to buy. The customer service is just as bad as the selection, they have two lines, one for return and one for check out, but they return line just funnels through the same line as the check out line... why have two lines for anyways. Poor line management and poor customer service. The employees always seem so disgruntled, I imagine it's just as bad to work for as it is to shop at. Don't waste your time here and just drive down the street to better selection and service. read more

Much better selection than many Ross- specifically dresses and designer bags. I like searching their hair section and lotions. Today I purchased a few tops, lotion, shimmer and tommy Bahamas women's fragrance. As others have said- don't expect to have great customer service, just be grateful for the discounts. :) read more

TERRIBLE TERRIBLE customer service... Cute/ affordable clothes but the customer service is terrible!!!!

So here's the thing about Ross. I have found some amazing things there. Designer shoes for 20 bucks. Evening gowns for 10. Pashminas, designer purses. But the stores are generally a big freaking mess, and the checkouts take forever. More than that, there seems to be a positive correlation between the skankiness of the store and the likelihood of finding a good deal. The Ross on Burnet is my prime example. I can do a 10 minute power shop there and end up with some real gems. But the place is a mess, checkout can take 20 minutes+, and the dressing rooms.. no air conditioning, unknown fluids on the floor, and gum stuck to the walls. Totally gross. But the nicer stores invariably have less cool stuff. So don't avoid the skanky stores, just come armed with close toed shoes and a lot of patience. read more

I've shopped at a lot of Ross stores, and this one was pretty consistent with the others I've seen. Unfortunately, the women's selection was pretty picked over and disorganized, but the men's section had a ton of good deals. Kenneth Cole slim fit shirts are hard to find, but they had one in just the right size! Men's athletic pants cost WAY too much at dept. and sporting goods stores, but here I found lots pairs (Nike, Adidas, Reebok) for under $15. That is less than 1/2 the price I've seen elsewhere. If you wear Perry Ellis dress pants, you can get them here for $20-$25 (about $10 less than at K&G or the outlet store). I also found a cache of baby Polo shirts. There were about a dozen in various sizes from 6 months to 3T in pretty nice colors. They were only $12, which is definitely less than at the Ralph Lauren outlet in Round Rock, so I bought a few (for gift giving purposes). I'll definitely go back to this location because you really shouldn't judge a Ross based on a single visit. The stock changes frequently, so I never know when a designer item in my size might show up. Granted, I'll have to dig through lot of ugly cheap looking stuff to find it, but it's worth it. read more

I am proud to say that I like "Ross"......"Ross: Dress for Less" for those of you who like titles that rhyme. I know I do..... At first I was hesitant to write a review for Ross, because it's not a place you really brag to people that you shop at. Well, I think it's about time we start! "Yes, my shirt looks awesome! And I got it at Ross.... and yes, I AM male"! This place is great for when you feel like digging through tons of clothes to find a really cool, cheap, piece of clothing. Don't be discouraged by all the ugly clothing when you walk in, because buried behind that ugly pink velour jump suit is a really cool jacket. If you are a person who only will wear name brand clothing, you may want to go somewhere else. Not that they don't have "name brand" clothing, but I have found that the shirts I have bought from there have been brands I have never heard of. Also, they have furniture, and sheets.... last time I went there I had to stop myself form buying a model of a sailboat. If you are going to go to Ross, make sure to visit the Braker location.... its the nicest one. read more

If you love yourself even a smidgen, don't do it. Do not waste energy parking, unclicking your seat belt, getting out of your car, closing the door behind you, pressing the door lock clicky, and walking into Ross. You will have to multiply that wasted energy by 2 as you escort yourself swiftly out and back to your car. Look, I am a discount stores kind of gal. I am cheating on my significant other with TJ Maxx; he will ask me where I am and I'll say "nothing.. uh leaving so-and-so's house." That said, Ross leaves much to be desired. The clothing quality is sub par, but they're still at TJ Maxx prices. I have never even heard of these brands, and it looks like they aren't sure they're clothing manufacturers, either - not with those threads hanging off the garments. Honey, please. read more

I love Ross, it is what it is. Dive in head first and don't go in looking for a specific item and you will have better luck. As a new homeowner my love for Ross has been rekindled, some good deals are lurking beneath the surface in the housewares section. read more

I'm a Ross fan, and this is our favorite Ross in town. Ross is what it is. You have to dig to find your bargains, but treasures can be found. You just have to do your due diligence. Also, Ross will accept any item for return for store credit without a receipt (and the sales sticker still affixed). read more

I felt like the digging was worth it at this location. I have been to other ross stores but this one has the best selection. This store seems more organized than others. The sizes are on the correct racks and everything just looks neater here. I always like to parooz the home section and they have an ample amount of gadgets here. The line moves quickly and the staff is friendly. This location doesn't have as big of a costume jewelry section but they have a huge perfume section. read more

All I wanted was a pair of black pants for job interviews... The thing to always keep in mind about Ross, is that it is nothing more than a glorified thrift store. Just as you would in a thrift store, you have to check for holes, snags, and stains. Yes, I have seen stained garments at Ross. It's perfect for me though, because I'm usually broke and I usually wear somewhat tacky, out-dated clothes. I'm a rebel like that. Ross is also horribly unorganized. I don't even bother going to my size section anymore because chances are high that I'll find my size in numerous sections, like I did today. As far as black dress pants, they didn't have much of anything. They had about 7 or 8 different styles, and only three of them in black. Also, I'm a little bootylicious, so I'm not the biggest fan of spandex, and the only dress pants they had without a waist line so high that it comes up to your armpits, was 95% polyester and 5% spandex. This is where I'm reminded why I don't let myself shop too much... I decided to try them on. I go into their very clean dressing area and notice that the pants look adorable in the front, but had no support for my bottom. In my head I thought two things, both at the same time "I should go give the pants another once-over, maybe I missed something," and "If I had an over-sized sweater to balance it out, maybe I wouldn't look so curvy.." both completely irrational. I had already torn through the pants section at least three times, and how does an over-sized sweater not make your butt look jiggly?? Yet there I was, "looking for pants I had missed" everywhere but the pants section. I ended up finding a long, sweater, wrap, shawl thing among the dresses. Doesn't really look like a dress, but whatever. Of course, after that, I decided that I should still look at sweaters, but just look. Yeah.... I was leaving there with a pair of cute pants for an interview, a cute sweater to go with them, and a dress-type thing to cover up my butt. I was about to get out of there with ALL THAT for under $30 when I realized that I had no shoes...none that I liked....none that I liked at that particular moment anyway... I said I'd just look....so I did. Hey, who needs dress shoes for an interview when they have adorable little moccasins for $22 when they were being sold elsewhere for almost $60!!?? At that point I had to leave, like, right then! Any girl knows that when you're binge shopping new shoes always lead back to new pants, which lead to shirts to go with it, then handbags, etc. Even with the most adorable new shoes ever, and by "ever" I mean 3 years ago when they were really popular and I didn't get them, I still got out of Ross for just a little over $50 read more

I was disheartened this evening, (while) shopping at my favorite ross store. i was herded around--as if to keep me from going towards the back of the store! here's some good advice: DO NOT shop here if its within an hour of their closing time. all of a sudden, at 1000pm (closing time 1030pm), an announcement was made that all shoppers need to head to the checkout because "Ross will be closing in thirty minutes"... THIRTY minutes??! psh that's time enough for me to drop (spend) another $100!! but NNOOOOO..salesgirl literally told me I had to stop what I was doing - right then - because "we're trying to close"..then, the other salesgirl, that had also been skulking around me, had the nerve to ask me, "have you enjoyed your shopping experience tonight?" I'm still kind of stunned at the blatant unprofessionalism of the crew working tonight. to top it off, all that herding they did to me (the store was almost empty, just to give you an idea of why i was their main prey), they rushed me to the front-- all that, so i couldI STAND IN LINE to check out!!!! get this, the curious one that asked about my shopping experience, yeah her - as if having to hurry up to WAIT wasn't enough, I had to listen to belly-aching about how "I'm getting outta here on. time tonight" "my feet are hurting, I'm ready to go"..... long story, but now you know not to even TRY to spend your good $$ at this Ross, the only saving grace at this Ross is ADRIENNE. thankfully, her kindness made up for the others' lack of hospitality read more

Got two pairs of shorts, a pair of Fila cross trainers, a pack of underwear, a belt, and a pair of stretchy capris for my wife today for $88 after tax. Definitely found a good clothes store for people that just need some stuff to put on their bodies. A LOT better than the thrift stores around here. Better selection, better prices, better environment, easier to find things...just better. Things are well arranged, sizes are clearly marked on the rack so that you can see from a distance, and the one employee that I talked to was very helpful. When the line for the register started backing up, they *gasp* CALLED MORE PEOPLE UP TO HELP! What a concept! My only complaint would be the strange lack of plus sized clothing for women. This makes it so that I can't really recommend this place for my wife, at least not yet. read more

The dress section here was very impressive to me. I needed a dress for a bridal shower but was low on money, so I came here hoping to find something half decent, possibly. I was surprised! I found several dresses right away to try on, and ended up leaving with two nice, like-new dresses that fit perfectly -- for less than $25. PERFECT. I also needed some new shorts and shirts, and was less successful looking for those. But I also didn't spend as much time looking as for the dresses. read more

Without fail, whenever I am spotted wearing something new and trendy and asked where I bought my outfit, Ill respond with the annoying catch phrase, "I got it at Ross." Well, its true. Ross sells name brand clothing for seriously discounted prices, and there is nothing wrong with the clothes either. From seriously fabulous winter coats, to juniors t-shirts for 6 bucks, I really think Ross has a bit of everything. I buy picture frames here, found a sterling silver flask for 6 dollars, and find myself sneaking in several times a week just to waste a little time, and almost all of the time walk out with something new. Downsides: Many times there is a long wait in line to check out. I worked there once for 4 days and found the environment difficult and mundane, and the staff ( especially the boss) not particularly friendly to be around. They are fine when you are just a shopper though, not an employee. If you want a store where you can get an outfit for 25 bucks, including undergarments- check this place out. read more

Why am I spending precious time sharing a review of a Ross? Because this particular Ross is the worst one I've even been to and I mean WORST. Every time I'm there, they're having issues of some kind... credit car reader not working, not accepting cash, short staffed (always)... etc. Honestly, I'm surprised they are still in business. I am a Ross treasure hunter in the extreme. I know all of the locations and know just where to go to find what I need. This location is the dress shop. I have gotten dresses for weddings, interviews, dates, and even funerals at prices that make me happy. This is also the best location for those designer purses that come through once in a while. As with all Ross stores, the customer service is atrocious. But you save a lot and can find some really nice stuff so I put up with it. read more

I'm sure that if the employees there really applied themselves and go above and beyond, this 20 minute 15 person line I'm in could grow long enough to snake out the door. It's rare for me to walk through this store without finding something that I don't really need but would like to buy, and it will be at a great price. I rarely end up actually buying anything, however. It's not because of strong self-discipline. Rather, it's because they consistently have ridiculously long waits in the checkout line. At peak lunch time, they had one cashier handling both returns and purchases. Great place to get ideas, terrible place to shop. read more

I'm 6 months pregnant, was standing in line with ONE item behind two women with multiple items. While we're waiting a man comes in with a belt to return AFTER we had been standing there a while. Your checker (the only one FYI) stopped the sales at me - one item mind you and holding the cash in my hand - to serve the grumpy man with the return. I literally walked out so angry that's the last time I shop in Ross. Maybe it's the preggo hormones but either way I'm sick of the way you treat your customers. You need to teach your people some critical thinking and customer service skills. I have shopped in Ross for years and the CS has always been bad but this was it. I'm done. read more

I love Ross and its the only store I really rely on when it comes to buying clothes, I hope they never go out of business ha. I love their dresses! The employees are really laid back, maybe a little more than they should be. This location is fairly cleaner than other locations that are just messy all the time and hard to find things. They never have enough cashiers when there are long lines, thats the only downfall. They should have coupons too! read more

Not the best Ross Store in town but it's definitely got a decent selection of items. LOTS of women's shoes.

The only good thing about this Ross is its not busy because they have absolutely nothing! Horrible and a waste of time!

This store is not better than going to Macy's and I always regret stopping here. I found a top, original tag says 29.99 down from 65.00 but the Ross tag says 39.99.
