My family went theirs for breakfast on a Saturday morning. We were able to be seated right away. The breakfast menu has a lot of great options. Both my husband's and my plates were delicious. Our son got a chocolate chip pancake that was presented like a bear with whipped cream eyes and nose and a sausage mouth. Super cute and fun for him to eat. Another of the very gimmicky, and all-too-tired, faux 50's diners. Standard coffee shop fare -- with nothing that stands out as "original" in anyway (you have all seen and tasted everything on the menu here at countless other coffee shops through the years.) Service is acceptable. Overall, a very utilitarian sort of place, where you grab a bite, because it is freeway-close, and quality isn't all that important. Cute place but my husband was put off right away when he couldn't bring in his coffee from home. I defended the restaurant until they didn't have stevia or creamers besides half and half. He won't be back, unfortunately. We just moved in around the block. The Aspen Frittata was yummy and the rest of the food was good. I really liked it here- I visited for the first time earlier this week. I was so happy to get a REAL cherry coke! I enjoyed the music and the restaurant is really cute. We ate here a couple days ago and got a few different dishes. Firstly, this place is always packed. If you don't like crowds, don't go here. The decor is really cute. We got a chicken pasta dish that had a ton of vegetables and chicken. I asked for the chicken to be blackened, and the waitress stated they couldn't do that. Sooo..you can't put the chicken on a black top and sear it? Why not? For that reason, I didn't enjoy the chicken. It was bland and just too plain. We also got a monte Cristo sandwich. The meats inside were ok. They were pretty much the expected cold cuts. Also, the monte Cristo is better deep fried, not seared like a grilled cheese. It was just ok. Stopped by on the way from the Springs to Denver. AMAZING. The food was fast, delicious and perfect. My wife tends to send at least one item back. She stayed and ordered a blueberry/banana malt, so you KNOW that's impressive. The service was tip TOP. I think this place wants to be a 50s style diner but it's not and the decor is all fake and cheesey and overdone. I don't think there's anything original in the entire place which is I guess okay but the vibe just looks fake. As a diner, it really isn't hard to do food and some of the food looked okay but nothing was special. read more

I was just driving by and stopped in for some grub. I ordered a BLT and was expecting the usual. I got something else... A sandwich filled with lots of thick sliced smoked bacon. It was delicious! I have had lot's of BLT's but most are slapped together with some small pieces of microwave bacon. Not Rosie's !!!! They are the best. The world seems to be swarming with 1950s nostalgia diners like Gunther Toody's and a hundred others, but this one is perhaps a few notches above the rest. The ingredients they use are decent, the biscuits and gravy are solidly constructed (remember that's the litmus test for a breakfast joint!), the hash browns are crispy and hot, the pancakes are fluffy and flavorful, so the kitchen is definitely pulling their weight. Now, it has to be said that they do overdo it on the decor. We all know what nuclear America's fashion, hair, and cars looked like and Rosie's *wallpapers* the place with it. Everywhere you look there is some shiny, glitzy memorabilia from the days of Elvis, even crowding out the text on the menu. It gets to be a bit much. There is also the hit-and-miss service. Some days it's spot on, and on others you may sit for a good 10 minutes before things really start rolling. So major thumbs up on the food, just don't hit this place wearing a pompadour and a popped collar, you may blend in with the walls, ceilings, and floors and the waitstaff won't see you. read more

Huge Thanks to AB and the great staff at Rosie's Diner! We had our end of the year Little League celebration at Rosie's and they are fantastic! They set aside a place for the 9-10 year old kids in their baseball jerseys, and reserved the space around them for the families. We had about 40 people and the staff was amazing! AB is the owner and he likes baseball, and he went out of his way to make sure everyone felt welcomed. The staff was wonderful with the kids. The highlights on the menu are the milkshakes, all of the breakfast items (I love the breakfast burrito) and the burgers! Absolutely fabulous visit! Thank you, Rosies! read more

You have to be in the mood for Rosie's as part of the shtick is to be seemingly playful/annoying to the customers- think gently pushing you further into your booth so they can plop down next to you. Or repeatedly letting you know you can purchase their ground coffee... We stopped in on a Sunday afternoon and the place was hopping, nostalgic 50's music playing and a ton of related memorabilia to check out. We got right in and it seemed like the food arrived 5 minutes after we ordered -maybe even scary fast but given that I only had fries and the husband got a sandwich it was not surprising. Good place to stop for a quick, standard, no frills breakfast at a decent price. read more

This *could* have been a great stop for lunch if it had not been for the flies that kept dive-bombing our table even before our food arrived. It's really hard to enjoy your meal when there are flies alighting on your hair, clothing, booth, table, etc. Service was friendly and fast. My vanilla shake was pretty good. My wife liked her BLT. I didn't like my roast beef sandwich at all (could only manage a couple of bites), but the manager graciously offered a substitution and when I declined, she took it off the bill and was truly apologetic, which I greatly appreciated. If Rosie's found some way to get rid of the flies from the corner booth, I'd come back to try something else or at least get another milkshake. ps - Based on the Attack of the Flies at the table, I was worried about the cleanliness of the bathrooms, but the men's room actually tuned out to be really clean.
