Gist off, they have a drive thru, love, love it. A guy came out and will take your order. I waited about 7 minutes since I was behind another customer. I ordered the Garden of the God's with Vinegar Chips, and no drink. The sandwich was delicious, I like that they use Boars Head Deli meats, all the added condiments were fresh, and they give a side of chips that were crunchy. My only caveat was the bread; the roll did taste fresh, even though it looked bit undercooked, it just was unappealing to look at on such a tasty sandwich . Overall I would recommend Samich Shack to anyone looking for a good sandwich. I will come back to try another sandwich on the menu.

The food was OK. Not the best I've ever had. But they were super nice at the shack. Seems like a nice place to go in the summer but not for winter as it's all outdoor.

HOLY Samich Batman! I stopped by the Samich Shack on a whim. All I can say is thank the samich gods!! I ordered the Gold Camp and was not disappointed. I didn't even make it out of the parking lot, as the smell was so inviting I had to eat it here and now!! The bread was soft and steaming. The chicken was juicy and the aoli.. soo good! If I didn't have to get to work, I would have gone back for a second!! By far, the best Samich I have had in a looooong time! Well done!!

Wow, probably one of the best sandwich shops I've ever been too! Nice picnic table seating outside for nice days too. Owner was extremely friendly. They don't have a freezer so everything is very fresh! Get the Pueblo sandwich you won't regret it!

We just arrived in town and were looking for a tasty lunch. We found it! The owner was very friendly, the food delicious, and they offered a fun little outdoor dining area. If you like some spice to your sandwich they have great options!

Snag some street parking in Downtown Colorado Springs across from Acacia Park and mozy on into the Diners, Drive Ins and Dives favorite, Skirted Heifer. I remember watching their episode 10 years ago. I didn't even live in Colorado back then! Their claim to fame is the iconic cheese "skirt" on their burgers. The way they melt the cheese, you get this funky crispy cheesy entity around the burger resembling a skirt. On this visit, I kept it simple with the Pueblo Farmer and fries. Pueblo Farmer ($12.25) // Grass-fed beef, pueblo chilies, pepper jack cheese, & homemade guacamole on our sesame seed bun. Beefy, spicy, creamy, a perfectly balanced burger. I didn't get it skirted (I honestly was so tired from driving that I forgot), but I wouldn't change much about this burger. Damn tasty! Burgers don't come with fries so I added those on. These are thin and salty. Even though the fries are extra, they have a little sauce bar with their ketchup, ranch, and Heifer sauce to accompany it. The sauces were all great and tasted homemade! Honestly, just wish there was more seating as it's usually crowded. They do have a few outdoor stools, but it does get chilly when the sun is down. If it's good enough for Guy (Fieri...duh) it's good enough for me!

The fries were unique, hand-cut, and pretty yummy. The service was exceptional. The patio abuts a parking lot, but that's fine if you've ever strip mall dined. In Houston, for example, there's a romance to patio dining with an asphalt view. So, while it was a four-star burger, everything else was perfectly fine. I'll round up from four to five stars for those reasons and since it is an independent business, which has been around a long time, on the southeastern edge of downtown Colorado Springs.

That place is Bad Daddy's Burger Bar. On my first visit to the area years ago, we were introduced to Bad Daddy's by our host. Each and every ensuing visit, we've made the pilgrimage to a local Bad Daddy's to enjoy their food and hospitality. Karen, our server, was truly a superstar. She brought a little bit of sass with hometown hospitality to make sure our visit was enjoyable from start to finish. Loved her personality and attentiveness to our needs. The food is crazy good. Bad Daddy's offers creative bar food with a unique flair that makes it seem like an upscale experience. Their signature burger, The Bad Ass Burger. I've enjoyed it multiple times on previous visits and was tempted to devour it again. However the other menu items have been drawing my attention each time we visit. Yesterday was no exception. Went with the Smokehouse Burger and was not disappointed. Burger with pulled pork, onion strings, lettuce, tomatoes and bbq sauce was really good. Had to take it up a notch and throw on a fried block of mozzarella on there. Julie didn't want the bacon that came on her burger so that topped off my monstrosity! Others enjoyed the salmon burger, heatwave burger, birria burger and the steakhouse smashburger. All were mighty fine and tasty. We also ordered the house made chips (comes w unlimited refills), Bacon Queso and Not Yo Mamas Deviled Eggs, which are deep fried with a slice of jalapeño.... BOMB! We celebrated a birthday of a little one and Karen brought out a mini sundae for her to end our meal. Bad Daddy's is a great place to enjoy a family meal at a reasonable cost and extremely fun environment. Keep on Yelp'n!
