A cute little cafe/deli that popped up about 2 months ago. Friendly staff. Excellent service. I got an americano, a piece of coffee cake, and a hot pastrami sandwich. The americano was quite good and the coffee cake was up to par. I ate those at the cafe while I did some work. Ambience was nice (though there was construction outside that was loud and annoying). When I was leaving, I ordered the sandwich to go and took it home with me. It got a bit soggy because I waited too long to eat it, but it was fantastically delicious and easily the star of the show (my wife kept stealing bites, too, which is not in her habit and is another reflection of the quality). The only unfortunate aspect is the parking situation, but that's hardly the fault of Rosie's, so no stars deducted. Would highly recommend! read more

Rosie's is a new place with up to date systems. They have WiFi. While their menu is still limited, they make most of the things fresh. This is not fast food. They take a little longer, but it is more like what you would expect at a sit down restaurant for waiting. read more

Service was great however I ordered a build your own salami, cheese, lettuce, tomato onions, pepperoncini on a soft roll and to my unpleasant surprise, I had a single layer of salami on a (hard)soft roll. Wanted to try something new and went to Rosie's for lunch. The sandwiches were great. At first the price seemed a little high but the sandwiches were so big they are 2 meals in one. A half was enough to fill me up and my son ate the other half when he got home from school. The Dutch crunch bread was really good and not the kind that cuts up your mouth. My husband also really liked his pastrami and would order it again next time but add mustard. It did take a while to get the sandwiches but we were not in a hurry so it was fine. Staff was really pleasant and the restaurant was clean and new inside. The pastries looked really good be we didn't have any room. We'll definitely be back! read more

I will literally be dreaming about their hot pastrami sandwich so dang good! Just don't eat it on a date or bring a breath mint (it has a garlic sauce that is out of this world! ) We brought our two young daughters with us to pick up some sandwiches for lunch. The owners are a husband and wife duo, and they welcomed us in a sincere and warm way. The husband brought our girls paper and crayons while we waited, and the wife checked in on us after we ordered since she was helping another customer out. One of the best sandwiches I've ever had!!!!!! I chose to try this newer sandwich place based on the reviews I read, and I'm very glad that I did. I ordered the often mentioned Hot Pastrami sandwich. I'm usually a no veggies, mustard only kind of guy. But I read some great reviews that mentioned how well balanced their sandwich is with lettuce and their signature sauce, so I just went with it. It truly was one of the top 3 sandwiches I've ever had in my 50+ years. It was perfect. And HUGE! The staff were very friendly. The owner introduced herself when I came to pick up my sandwich. The restaurant is relatively small but very clean and inviting. Run, don't walk, and try this new spot. You won't regret it!!!! read more

I've been reading reviews about Rosie's. If I could give more stars I would. De-lish-ous! I had the 'build your own' sandwich. All ingredients were fresh and tasty. The Banana Nut bread is moist and tasty. The owners, very personable. The place is clean and I like that I can look at a menu that's not up on a wall. If I have any questions, I can point to it instead of having to direct the person taking my order to it up on a wall. There was a variety of chips. I'll try the breakfast next time. The location is on Clayton Rd., across from the TJ Max plaza where Dollar Store is located. Access to Rosie's is the driveway right before dutch bros. Keep your eye out or you'll need to make a U turn to get back to it. read more

Can't say enough about the sandwich I just had. Fresh sourdough roll, mounds of turkey, fresh produce and amazing garlic aioli. Much needed mom and pop sandwich shop on the Clayton/Concord border. I love, love, love this place! I make it a habit of trying out every new restaurant and barely missed this one, but my kid spotted it from the drive-thru of the Dutch Bros next door. I've been there about half a dozen times now, and the food is always consistent, and the staff is very friendly. Sadly, the place is usually empty, which is why I figured I should post about it since I don't want to lose it. I always get their vegetarian sandwich. The bread is amazing (I get their wheat roll), and the ingredients are the usual things (tomatoes, onions, lettuce, etc.), but the quality and presentation are steps above sandwich chains. They also make good coffee drinks. My family is especially picky, and my wife and kids love the place too. We've spoken with the manager (?) on a couple of occasions, and he is very friendly and provided the backstory on their quality-sourced ingredients and origin story. The only issue I have is that the location is a bit hard to spot, but once you know where it is, you'll keep coming back. They also have a parking lot behind the building. read more

What an awesome mom and pop addition to Concord's Clayton Valley Neighborhood on Clayton Rd. Family friendly for lunch or just to get coffee and pastries. I stopped in by accident and saw they offer a vegan sandwich. I almost didn't choose it but the owner convinced me and I'm so glad she did. The sandwich was huge and delicious, with fresh veggies, hummus, avocado with garlic sauce. The owner is super friendly and my cappuccino was also perfect with soy milk.
