Rose and Kim were the best! My boyfriend and I just went in there and we needed a suit for him by tomorrow and they were so helpful!! They measured him and got him the perfect suit with such last minute notice not to mention for an AMAZING price!! The sweetest ladies!! Service for fitting and pick-up was easy, quick and both ladies that worked were super nice and helpful. made sure during pick up that everything fit as it should and helped color match the bow tie to my wife's dress. Fair price for tux/shirt/vest combo and the shoes i added. Drop off was slightly different but ok. Older lady couldn't find the receipt and had my wife go through the box of receipts to find ours. Not a big deal though. read more

My son had Senior prom and wanted a white suit jacket. We got measured and placed our order at the 35th ave location and the gentleman was nice enough. He told me I travelled too far and the 24th st location was much closer to me and I should pickup there. He was right that location was much closer to home and something just told me to drop in the Saturday before Prom for my young man to try the suit on. Everything was fine except the white jacket. It was dirty and the sleeves were uneven in addition to being stitched with black thread. The middle aged gray haired woman who works there tried to adjust the sleeve but when another customer walked in she became rushed and advised me to clean the jacket at home....which would basically be the same as if they cleaned it on store. I told the woman my pickup wasn't until the following weekend anyway so there was no need to rush today. I advised her to take care of the current customer and I would pick up my order the following weekend as scheduled so that she could take her to e to address the white jacket we were renting. When we arrived on prom day nothing had been done. The jacket was still dirty with black threads and very much dirt on the sleeves. When my sister who brought me to pick up the suit asked why the sleeves were hemmed in black thread and the sleeves were dirty she yelled from the back room "Either take it or leave it were not doing anything else and I'm not changing the thread" while measuring her current customer. UNBELIEVABLE!!! I had already paid the week before expecting everything to be decent and in order when arriving to pick up my order. There were several excuses given for the poorly presented order.... The sewing machine broke which is why the black thread. The dirty jacket was blamed on previous renters " because you know how kids are". The shoes are old and wrinkled "because they are from the 90's" The owner did end up bringing another jacket that was not pristine but we made do. The sleeves were appropriately stitched with white thread and we bought a brand new pair of shoes across the street at G/MV DOWNTOWN FASHIONS LLC which is where we should've gotten our suit from. It was very obvious that Rose Tuxedo did not value our black business and if we didn't speak up for ourselves would have sent us out of her establishment with the nigga special.... A dirty suit and raggedy shoes for a steep $232..... I would've owned a crispy clean suit and shoes for the same price point across the street at a black owned business. Support black owned businesses people.... Where we know our time and money is valued. I need 3 more suits within the next month (another dance and 2 graduations). Ms Rose lost a customer for sure because of the rude big mouth lady she has running her store. Ms Rose didn't offer any type of apology or compensation for her rude employee which suggest she supports her behavior and opinions. I don't expect this place to be around much longer!! But yeah.... Check out the shop across the street. While there getting shoes I saw a young man being fitted for his suit and he was CLEAN!!That's where I'm getting my next three suits from. I CANT BELIEVE THAT CHICK YELLED AT ME THROUGH THE STORE IN FRONT OF 5 OTHER CUSTOMERS AND THEN ARGUED WITH MY SISTER..... IN FRONT OF A FULL STORE!! IF I COULD RATE 0 STARS I WOULD!! read more

*REVIEW EDITED I'm editing this review because it seems like the manager is just going to gaslight me and say that I get paid to leave bad reviews and that there was no record. How do you think I know Kristen's name? Who by the way, gave the worst customer service ever, literally turned and walked away from me and didn't come back to ever acknowledge me. I was there at your store and, it's filthy. The shirts are yellow, the tuxedos look ancient and that's why I didn't rent from you. Which means you wouldn't have a record on your carbon copy paper that you write on. Not even a real register. Next time you think about gaslighting someone maybe you should actually look at your tuxedo shop and see if it needs some changes. I will make sure to tell every single person to never set foot into rose tuxedo* Super old/dirty tuxedos and suites. Literally looks like they haven't updated anything in 20+ years. Shirts were YELLOW. A lady named Kristen "helped" us. Worst customer service ever. Raise your standards Kristin and maybe you wouldn't hate your job so much. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME. read more

Such a disappointment. I arranged to rent 10 tuxedos for a high school fashion show. One of my fellow teachers who was supposed to get a tux went to the store, but they refused to fit him. They said they would fit the high school students, but not an adult man. Apparently, she hasn't seen the size of high school students lately. Totally yelled at me on the phone about how busy she was and that she was 79 and cancelled their support for our event. Totally and completely uncalled for. I'm a school teacher and we are limited on our funds, so we can't pick up and go to another business at the last minute. Now I have a fashion show a week away and no tuxedos. A really poor way to do business, not to mention shirking someone in the community. read more

We found out at the last minute that a wedding we were attending in Scottsdale was a black tie affair!! Had to rent a tux. Despite a busy pre-prom day, the service we received was VIP!!! Prices are great, service is amazing and there are lots of choices! we decided to buy the tux we rented so my husband could have one available for future events. To Mark and the whole team at Rose, THANK YOU!!! read more

If we could give 7 stars, we would!! We rented three suits for a wedding. They had a cancelation of a group one letter off from ours and our tickets were tossed. Thankfully we called two weeks out to make sure we were good to go and the issue was discovered. Rose immediately rectified the issue. She took my husbands measurements over the phone (we are not local) and did in person measurements for his son and father. Once we arrived, she took such great care of us, switching coat sizes to make it fit better, giving my husband a pair of dress socks free because he forgot to bring some, have us a military discount. The icing on the cake came when I half jokingly asked if she had a steamer to steam my wedding dress (a steamer to come to my hotel was $150 just to show up and $75/hr). She was horrified. She GAVE me her own professional steamer to take for the week (wedding was in Sedona). The she showed me how to use it! Then, since we needed to return the suits on a Sunday when they were closed she opened the shop just to let us drop them off to accommodate us. Her employees said she treats everyone like this! Please go to Rose's. She will NOT disappoint! Without her, this photo would not have been possible (photo taken Saturday which is why suit had to be dropped off Sunday). read more

Went to the tuxedo store on 35th Ave. I needed a last minute tux the same day and luckily found this place. The lady at the front was exceptionally nice and helpful and helped me pick out my tux. They fitted me and altered the tux right there and I was out within 30 minutes. I can't say enough nice things about this place. Their prices were perfect as well. I would think twice before going to a men's warehouse or such. I highly recommend Rose Tuxedo for any kind of rental. read more

This place is amazing! I came in looking for a suit or tux for a cruise I will be going on next week. That didn't leave much time or wiggle room, but I wanted to give it a try. Penny helped get me all set up even though it was very last minute and on Saturday. She found exactly what I was looking for, made great suggestions on colors and styles, and made sure I had options while I am away to make the outfit work great. Stephanie made alterations to my pants, jacket, and even got everything sized and made sure it fit perfectly before I was out the door. Overall, it only took about 20 minutes and they even made sure to press and iron everything first. During the process they even asked me about it and genuinely want to know about what I did and what I needed the tux for. I would absolutely recommend this place to anyone looking for anything they offer. They price was very fair, especially for last minute, and their wonderful service and attention to detail really made the experience great. read more

Horrible customer service, my fiance came looking rent a tux for our wedding, we were reluctantly approached by an older lady who seem unhappy to have customers enter her establishment. The place is old with dated items to rent and smelled like mothballs inside. Yes, it was this tux shop near 24th street and Indian school. My fiancé and I are African Americans, your older white female associate looked extremely annoyed and bother by our presence in your store. We stayed all of 4 minutes before we walked out, we asked for a white tuxedo jacket with black lapels. From the looks of the merchandise there were extremely limited items to choose from, accompanied by the rudest employee. Definitely don't waste your money here!! read more

I was completely blown away by the customer service and knowledge of the ladies here at Rose Tuxedo. I absolutely H-A-T-E clothes shopping. I'm 6'4" and long... nothing ever fits, and I always have to try on item after item. However after a few quick measurements, everything I was given to try on was a perfect fit. In and out in under 30 minutes, tuxedo pants and 2 LS button-down shirts for $70. My kind of shopping! Cheers, ladies!! -The voice of the Midwest :D read more

I was provided excellent customer service when I needed a little suit for my son. I guess it is industry standard that you can only rent suits for ages 4 and up due to some diaper hygiene ick factor. Luckily though to purchase a suit for a two year old is about the same price as renting one for a four year old. Sweet! Then resell that once worn, and never to be worn again overpriced outfit on craigslist. Rose tuxedo sells little baby tuxedos as well as rents for older kids. The woman who helped me was very kind and even let me BORROW for FREE a pink bow tie for my son to match my sisters wedding. Hello trust and customer service. I just brought her bow tie back right after the wedding. You can tell they have been in business forever. Which is comforting when you are dealing with things you really don't want screwed up- like your wedding day. There ya go! I'm out! read more

Rose Tuxedo did an amazing job when I needed a tux the most. Here's the situation: Offered a chance to go to a swanky Gala event, and its only in a week from that time. Most Tux places won't take you as a customer. But if they do, its gonna run you $20-40 extra as a "Rush Order". Rush Order.... But not Rose...They do not do "Rush Order". If you peer into their vast back area, you can get a glimpse of their hundreds of tuxes, ready to be thrown on.. Rose Tuxedo, it is!! ~The Good~ Rose has a ton of options for your big day. Honestly, everything from the most basic tux package (which I got) to the high-end and vintage options. It is a mom & pop chain which is local to the area, so do not get fooled by the fact that there are multiple stores. The turn around time for me ordering, to having my clothes ready was JUST ONE DAY. Plus I ordered mine over the phone, without even going in to try it on. Upon trying mine on, it fit great, and I looked dapper last night at the Gala. I also took off shoes, since I had a pair, and got an insanely good deal. The store employee told me "...we get many people in here, but when you are kind and courteous we take even more amazing care of our clients." That came in the form of a discount, right in the heart of tux season. I got complimented last night, so let me compliment Rose! Great job once again, with the customer service...the turn-around time is beyond ridiculous and your accommodating atmosphere will definitely earn my business next time I need a tux to rent. ~The Bad~ N/A.... Haha. Nothing here to see. Not a single negative to complain about. God I love when things work well. ~The Downlow~ Screw Men's Warehouse and their $120 rentals. WHY!? Either buy your own tux at Burlington or Dillards Clearance....or rent here boys! They treat you right, its a small business, and you don't have all this sticky Red Tape to run into. A simple and seamless process, if you ask me. With that in mind, and knowing the fact that these types of things never usually go too smoothly, I must reward them with a full 5 stars! Go anywhere else and you are giving your money away, and probably sending that money out of state. Shop, Eat, and Buy local.... go to Rose Tuxedo! read more

One thing that you will quickly realize once you propose is that everyone in the wedding industry attempts to gouge you at every turn, why? Because they can. This establishment is not one of these places. We used Rose tuxedo to rent tuxes for our evening and every part of the experience was absolutely seamless and stress free. I told all of my groomsmen to meet me at the shop at the same time to see if they could handle the stress and boy could they! The woman on duty took all of our measurements and guided us through the process with steadfast focus. They even threw in free shoes for everyone since we all ordered the most expensive tuxes (Michael Kors at the time). I highly recommend this business, they will fulfill SOME of your wildest dreams concerning tuxedos and wearing tuxedos. read more

This place is right out of the 80s. The decor is awful. They have no slim fit jackets to try on to get sized. The girl taking our measurements was unprofessional looking. After getting measurements at another store since we did not feel good about this place it became apparent the measurements were totally off. This is for my groom's tux. It's a big deal so it should be right. Thank goodness we went with our gut and got measured somewhere else. I do not recommend this joint. read more

Sami was awesome!!! Needed a last minute tuxedo and they did not disappoint. So accommodating and helpful. Great customer service.

5 star experience all the way! I called at 3:30pm needing a tux for an event Saturday evening. I expected to come back Saturday to pick up. Not only were the ladies able to meet and measure at 5:30 Friday, I walked out with the multi piece tux same day! Wonderful experience! Beats any corporate experience hands down. read more

I came here from a recommendation from a friend. Anyone who's ever purchased a custom suit or have rented tuxes knows how the process works. You come in, get measured, fitted, try something on, doesn't fit, do this a couple of times and eventually you find something that fits. Prices were fair. The employee there was friendly and patient which I really enjoyed because having bigger shoulders, it took quite a bit of time getting something that fit that didn't make me look like a fatty "no one wants to look like a fatty :(" If/when I have to rent a tux again, I'd come back here. read more

Based on my personal experience, I've come to love this establishment for their great prices and awesome service. I needed a tux for an out-of-town work function. Yelp led me to Rose Tuxedo. Spoke to Kristen (sorry if it's spelled wrong) on the phone who said I could get measured and pick it up the day before I left. That was last Thursday and the experience was fast and easy. The tux looked and fit great on Saturday night. Flew back in town yesterday (Sunday) and dropped it off on the way home--took less than 5 min. Very happy with the experience and I will definitely be back the next time I need a tux--maybe to buy since the prices for new ones are very reasonable. read more

Rose Tuxedo provided an excellent first time experience for myself. I had a wedding to attend to that I had known for quite some time but ended up procrastinating and not bringing any formal attire nor made an appointment in an appropriate amount of time to receive everything accordingly. My first stop was Men's Warehouse, everything was fine until when they needed the items shipped, Sunday was a no ship day. I was stressing out until I found Rose Tuxedo. April and Stephanie were the lovely ladys who assisted me in finding everything I needed within 5 minutes and had me out the door in 15 minutes with everything fitted and paid for! This is beyond a 5 star venture. Thank you to my hero's for the day; Stephanie and April! You guys were phenomenal. read more

After a disastrous experience with men's warehouse a few weeks ago (for a friend's wedding party), I decided to look around when I found out that I needed another tux for a corporate event I was playing at (musician). She really cares and bends over backwards for her customers. She worked with my price and time frame. Her staff was helpful and friendly as well. I would recommend her for rental or purchase.
