Once you have placed a down payment to order in advance, Clint (the owner) stated he would call to let me know the suit arrived. After arriving to try on the suit, Clint will try and quickly have me try it on and tell you that it fits fine. Be aware! The size may not be what he promised, before you make the final purchase, check what size is labeled. I ended up receiving a size bigger than anticipated without any knowledge. After realizing, I called and told him he gave me the wrong size and that's when he says "oh they didn't have the size you wanted so that was the next best thing." I ended up having to get it tapered and altered to my size but it cost almost as much as the suit because there was so much material left to take off. Please do a full inspection of the outfit you plan to get as he will try and get you to spend as quickly as possible without you realizing you're getting scammed the wrong size.

I was able to find all of my online items during the visit which was a big plus for me. They did mention larger sizes are hard to find in both boots and pants. What happened to Vince Lombardi Time? Teresa is out on leave so I'm trying to deal with another associate, she was not as thorough and confident as Teresa. The Department Manager was also in the area and did not have the authority to make some small alterations on a custom made article I purchased and love before the Holidays, told me she needed to run it up the ladder??? I was very fortunate to have the Manufacture Representative in the Department, we discussed my concerns and she was very professional and recommended I go see an alterations/tailor to get some professional advice, which I did and I believe we have found a solution. Les took our depressed son and really related to him and hooked him up with a great closet full of clothes. That was 2013. It is one of our best memories and our son still talks about that experience. Since then, we've been regular customers and the store is a great experience in every way. All the salespeople are attentive and helpful. We've since moved away but visit the area every few months and as part of our pilgrimage is a visit to the Peoria DXL. I've been to many other DXLs in several states and none compare to Peoria. That's why we wait to shop until we visit.
