Parker and Schmidt came highly recommended to us, by our wedding planner, for my husband's tux and our groomsmen suits. I'm glad we went with P&S because the process couldn't have been smoother. The business is located in a condo, but no one lives in it; it's strictly for business. Call and make an appointment, but your groomsmen don't have to come with you. Once you're chosen the style of tux/suit, you'll have your guys come in on their own schedules for their fittings. Simply have them call or email P&S. Whatever you do, do not go here for your suits. I can't emphasize enough how terrible our experience was. I caught Michael in multiple mistakes in person, and the suits are TERRIBLE quality. There were 3 suits that ripped on the dance floor. While we were picking up a suit, he not only ordered the grooms vest too late, but he lied about what size he ordered. (saying he ordered the correct size, when I in fact caught him in this lie). The entire process was incredibly disorganized and the quality for the price we received was not worth it. This was part of wedding planning that stressed us out the most. We could not trust him with anything he said, and when suits finally did come in. He ordered the wrong sizes, and sent suits too late. I decided to go with Parker and Schmidt for my wedding. All my groomsmen were instructed to watch this video to gather measurements so that they would fit/purchase the correct suit. After everyone watched the video, they submitted their sizes, thinking the video instructions were accurate. All of my groomsmen tried communicating with Michael (Owner) that they added the extra inch required to get the correct shirt size, but the shirts didn't fit. Instead of exchanging the shirts for my groomsmen (never worn), Michael told each one of them that they needed to purchase another shirt, there wouldn't be any exchanges. Instead of accommodating his customers, all he chose to do was nickel and dime them. I confronted Michael about this issue and he told me that it's in the "fine print" of the agreement. He even went as far as not returning phone calls or messages to one of my groomsman, so he had to order another shirt on his own, praying this one would work. Long story short, Michael has zero wherewithal on how to accommodate his customers. He runs his business like a sleezy car salesman. Beware. read more

Why rent when you can buy for the same price?! Michael was excellent in the setting up of my wedding. I ordered 3 different suits and all 3 came in looking great! He sends you a link to enter your measurements which is very easy to use and quick. It helps a lot for your out of town members. He's very knowledgeable about different types of suits and the material they are made from. If you are in need of a tuxedo, this is your place. I was under a tight schedule to get one purchased. Michael is very accommodating and worked with me to get it in to fit my schedule. The only down side is you will need to take it somewhere else to be tailored. Their recommendation was Creative Alterations on 24th Street. Do not go there. I dropped it off on the 17th of September and was told it would be ready by the 22nd. I told them I was out of town returning on the 25th and told them I would be there to pick it up that day as I needed for that night. I arrived at 11:00 AM on the 25th and it was not ready. They told me it would be a ready by 1:30. I called and they told me it was ready. I went to pick it up and checked the tux to make sure all of the alterations were made and of course some of the alterations were not made. I was told to wait and they will make the alterations. 20 minutes later I am finally on my way home. I would highly recommend Parker and Schmidt. Creative Alterations, not at all. read more

I needed a suit for the weekend so I reached out to several vendors via yelp messaging and he and another vendor responded within minutes--however, the other stated that they only work with custom order clients. He scheduled me for a visit the next day where he helped me find the right suit. It fits perfectly, and will fit even better when I get it tailored at one of his recommended tailors.
