I took my son to Brothers Tailors & Clothing after a friend recommended it. He was in need of a…read moresuit and this seems to be the place to go! We stopped by on a Saturday around noon. The place was packed! That being said, there were at least four employees handling customers. We were offered some cold bottles of water while we waited, which was a nice touch, and then Vicki helped us out. We ended up trying on a boys' suit and then ordering a size up... I found the price for this reasonable for a quality suit and we were told it should be arriving within the week. We will go back when it arrives to see if it needs alterations, and I know that BT&C is known for the great job they do with tailoring, so I may have to bump this review up another star based on our next experience visiting. It was a great system and one reason I trusted them. I no longer live in Arizona, but I recently had a wedding in the area and needed a suit and shirt cleaned. I decided to return to Express Cleaners because of my past experience. I dropped off my clothes Monday afternoon and requested Thursday pickup. I also asked for heavy starch on the shirt. I had a few other items cleaned with the same request. When I returned Thursday afternoon, my order was incomplete and one item was missing. The employee told me to come back the next day. I returned Friday and picked everything up. I trusted the order was correct and did not inspect the items before leaving. When I got back to my hotel, I noticed the shirts were not heavy starch at all. They were very lightly pressed. One red dress shirt also had a stain near the bottom that was not removed. That part is on me for not checking the clothes before leaving the store. I did pay extra for the heavy starch and expected the work to be done correctly. I tried calling the store so they could address the issue, but no one answered the phone. I now live in another state so there is little I can do about it. I am sharing this so others pay close attention when picking up their clothes. Check every item before you leave the counter. The quality and attention to detail were not what I expected based on my previous experience.

We even explained that our questions were out of curiosity, not because we were doubting her work, but she still responded with attitude. At one point, when we were trying to reason with her, she outright told us she didn't want to be nice. And I am SUPER particular about how my pants look and feel. I pay up for quality and I basically had the tailor alter over $1k in pants. The first run with the golf pants she handled perfectly, so I then took all of my dress pants to her to taper. I wore the shoes I was going to wear with them and she measured one pair of pants and that was it. I was a bit skeptical (and afraid) but she NAILED IT. I cannot tell you how pleased I am and how much I would recommend her to others. Please make sure that you tell her what YOU want and trust that she can make it happen because she CAN. I dropped them off along with one of my aprons, and within 24 hours they were ready for pickup. The man running the laundromat was extremely nice and welcoming. I highly highly recommend this place.
