The pizza is average at best and their prices are a little high in my opinion for the level of quality. We bought a medium thin crust pizza with pepperoni and extra cheese and a single order of cheese sticks. Almost $36. I picked it up, so this doesn't include any delivery charges. Don't understand all the negative reviews. We order from the Saint Johns Rosati's fairly frequently and the pizza has never disappointed. We generally order thin crust with a few toppings. Only complaint is that ordering on Friday or Saturday can lead to long delays, about hour and a half. read more

I frequent this location as I do like their food. I recently (earlier part of the year) posted a comment about this location always not having the food ready when you arrive, as they state on the phone. So I stopped going there for a couple of months. I've recently returned there a few times and both times the food wasn't ready. I went there the other night and called and they said the food would be ready in 15 to 20 minutes. I arrive in 25 minutes, giving them more time based on previous history with this location. I arrive and the person at the window says it'll be 5 minutes. I said, when we called they said it was 15 to 20 minutes and her reply was "we are busy." The order was a beef sandwich and pizza bread. Seeing no one was behind me, I waited at the window. I was there for 7 minutes before someone came up behind me and I asked the girl how much longer, to which she says it'll be a few more minutes. I then said to her, becuase I don't want to upset anyone, I reiterated, when we called you said 15 to 20 minutes and her reply was, well we're busy again. So, I drive to the parking lot and park and go inside. I wait another 8 or 9 minutes and finally get my food. No, sorry, no, nothing. No thanks, nada. And as I look in the back, there's 5 people there, standing around doing nothing. The old saying about fool me once applies here. NEVER AGAIN. And there's never someone in charge here. Where's the beef....or sausage in this case. The Saint John Rosati's is Extremely skimpy with their toppings. When I learned it would cost $30 to pickup our large pizza I expected it to be something great. When I opened the box I thought I would be impressed but it was very disappointing in several ways: canned (Not Fresh) mushrooms, barely any sausage, other topping practically non-existent, & very little sauce. Tasted OK, not great, just was underwhelmed by the overall construction of the pie. Much better options in the area. read more

Normally, I would give Rosati's Pizza 6 stars...!! BUT ..... I'm so disappointed. Rosati's is our go-to pizza place! We love Rosatis! However; last night, 8-2-17, I was really disappointed. I ordered contactless delivery. I waited for my food to be arrive and it did not come. When it was about 30 mins late I looked on the site, and it was marked delivered. It wasn't. I call. They said they tried calling me and didn't leave the food bc no one answered the CONTACTLESS delivery. Driver comes back with same food an hour after it was cooked, rings the bell, hands off in a huff. So now I've had contacts and food is cold. I asked to speak to a manager and BOTH refused to come to the phone. Told me they'd help me at 8 pm when they weren't busy, 3 hours after I was supposed to have dinner. They never call. I call today at 11. They have me hold for almost five minutes to come back and say manager comes in at 12. No one calls. I call at 1, they say manager is busy and I have to wait until 2 for the OTHER manager. When julie calls, she explains that they called and rang the bell (they didn't), and their policy is NOT contactless for contactless delivery bc of how people have been scamming them. I am not a scammer. I didn't get my product, and they KNOW it. They gave me the runaround, and THEN julie says she COULD have refunded me, but they already closed out the transactions from the previous night so it's too late. So they refused to speak to me and are now blaming me for how long it took to get them on the phone as if it's my fault. Not to mention their policy is so they can get signed receipts but he didn't even have me sign anything. After having to repeat all the reason back, she was silent and said she'd have to speak to corporate - for my measly refund on a pizza that is pretty low quality to begin with. I'm contesting the charges. All this after already forgetting part of my order the previous time and refusing a refund. I'm sorry, but I don't want store credit so I HAVE to answer for an unmasked, rude driver, for cold nasty pizza. Quite frankly, it's deceptive, and I told her - my family is high risk. This pizza place is my go-to in the area. With it being a franchise you get to use all amenities such as online ordering/order tracking/paying, which are things you don't usually get from mom-n-pop shops, and very consistent results. But you also get the taste of a real pizza spot, opposed to other franchises like Pizza Hut or Domino's, that usually have a bland taste. I've ordered it for take-out and for delivery. The delivery always arrives exactly when they say it will and the food is always hot and in order. I've tried quite a bit of their food and I always go back to the wings or the margherita pizza. They cook the crust to the perfect crispness every time and I've got no complaints. The only con to this place is that the price is pretty steep for a franchise and that's the only reason I didn't give 5 stars. Other than that, I always recommend Rosati's to anyone in the area for pizza or appetizers. read more

For starters, tried ordering on-line, which does not allow any type of differentiation (i.e. ingredients on only 1/2) etc.... So, I headed over to the location at 1:00 in the afternoon to place an order in person that I NEEDED TO BE AVAILABLE AT 4:45. I paid the bill while placing my order. Arrived at 4:45 exactly and proceeded to the drive up window. The employee at the window handed me a credit card slip to sign. I explained that the order was already paid for. She rudely told me to sign it again, she couldn't find my slip. So, I signed my sales slip again. The employee then told me to go park my car, my order was not ready. I asked her how long before it would be ready and was told 10 or 15 minutes. I then told her the entire reason I went in early and ordered and paid was because I needed the order at that specific time. She once again rudely replied, "I don't control the kitchen, park and it will be brought to you." My pizza was brought out at 5:10. I asked the girl who brought my order out if there was a manager on duty. Her reply, "yes, but she is too busy to talk to you." Nice! To top off the entire experience, my husband had several hairs in his pizza. Disgusting and straight to the garbage it went. Had any person at any time apologized or taken ownership of the screw-up, it could have been a better experience. My $80 would have been spent more wisely on frozen pizza. I placed a 36 dollar order and I live exactly 5 minutes away from this location. I had the food delivered since I was working from home while watching my children during this pandemic. The delivery driver forgot two items which I understand accidents happen, however I was told he would be on his way back to drop off those items. 30 minutes later I'm getting the run around from the girl in office who says they had to "prioritize other orders." I'm sorry but as a business shouldn't you prioritize orders that were already paid for and got the shaft? The response I received let's me know how much my business means to them. Pizza is sold by the slice. Choices are sausage, cheese or pepperoni. We had the sausage. It was delicious, the crust was crunchy, not doughy. The sausage is in big chunks and very good, the sauce is tasty, but not too spicy, just right. The cheese is quality cheese, seems like it is a rich, whole cheese, not a cheap fake wanna be. The only drawback to our visit was no seating, carryout only. The deal is a slice and a 20 oz. Pop for $5, which is amazing because the slices are huge. We have ordered 3 times from Rosati's in the last 4 months. Super bowl Sunday we ordered a thin crust pizza and it took over 2 hours to get it. We have ordered the stuffed pizza twice and both times it was by far the WORST stuffed pizza we have ever had. The first time it barely had any sauce (none inside only on top) that dried up when it was cooked, so we ordered extra sauce today. They told us they couldn't cut the pizza with extra sauce so we asked for it on the side. None was included with the order. This place is a joke! I have eaten Rosatis pizza for 20 years and was excited to see one in St John. I call and ask for my favorite (medium monster with no olives) girl on the phone tells me they can't make it like that. I ask why? She tells me the computer won't allow them to take off olives. I said "I don't need the computer to do it.. you can use your fingers" she says we can't do that! Really? So much for customer service. Their pizza taste great but I find they can be pretty skimpy on the toppings, especially meat toppings, which is upsetting. Romaine lettuce (the leaves not white stems), tomatoes, red onions, all fresh and delicious! We also order a thin pepperoni. The cheese was not gooey but cooked to a perfect golden color. We also ordered a small stuffed pizza (sausage, pepperoni and mushrooms) as a sample! This was the winner of the night! The ingredients tasted great and the crust was delicious.
