Took a little night trip to West O, and because we didn't pack snacks, we swung by what we've been told, is a pretty darn good pizza joint. While known for their Chicago Deep Dish, there are PLENTY of other options to choose from! We settled on their Breaded Mushroom appetizers. Absolutely nothing to write home to but they were.. okay. Your typical once frozen schrooms, breaded and fried... dipped in ranch. Not terrible, but also not worth their price point. As much as we wanted to wait extra for a deep dish - and we WILL return for one - we went with high protein, and snagged their Meat Mania! LOADED with meatball pieces, italian sausage, and pepperoni covered with cheese, seasoning, and all over goodness. Came to us piping hot, steamy, cheese-pully, with a great thin crust. Sprinkle some chili flakes, douse it with parmesan cheese and dig TF in... even better, there were zero bubble guts after; and we all know that matters (trust!). We will DEFINITELY be back for their White Pizza (I'm such a white pizza whore) and their deep dish. We came in on a Tuesday evening to celebrate my son's 8th birthday. It was relatively quiet at 530pm, and our server was quick to greet us. It was a first time here despite living so close. It's a large, bright and spacious chicago-style pizza joint. Plenty of TV's on to watch March Madness, as well as some other TVs playing random youtube videos, which kept the kids entertained. We started with dough nuggets, they were perfectly hot, moist, and complemented by their sweetish marina. the kids got kid's cheese pizzas and nearly ate the whole things! We got the Monster pizza, and my husband nearly ate the whole thing, it was perfect amount of pizza for 2. Our server was absolutely fantastic, she came by often, suggested good eats, and had time to chat with us, making us feel really welcome. Ordered a couple pizzas on a cold snowy night to hold us over. We are not from the area, so relied on reviews, Rosati was close and had good reviews, so we ordered a margarita style and pepperoni. They were ready for pick up when I arrived 40 minutes after ordering. Unfortunately, after getting back and opening the boxes, our disappointment started. The toppings and cheese were sparse, dried out ( tomatos) and chewy. The crust was obviously made from pre rolled frozen stock - it was dry, cardboard like, and tasteless. You could still see the pattern of pin holes in the bottom from the freezing process. Not recommended - would have had better pizza if we had gotten Totinos frozen at the grocery store. read more

My friend and I visited the restaurant around noon. I ordered the chicken parmigiana sandwich and my friend ordered the lasagna. I was quite disappointed withe the chicken parmigiana sandwich. The bread was not toasty and the chicken was rounded and didn't fit on the roll. It was also a thick piece of chicken. Not pounded as expected. Immediately after the first bite, I could tell it was a frozen patty of some sort. The marinara was also sweeter than I like. Overall, very disappointed and very unfortunate as I really wanted to like this place. My friend said the lasagna was mid! Service was great but food not good at all. Won't be back. read more

Let me start off with this information. I am a huge pizza snob. And I will let you guys know that the deep dish pizza here is top 3 of pizza I've had in my life. It was absolutely phenomenal. It's a must try if you're in the area. The fettuccine Alfredo was also extremely good which is nice becuase most places don't use enough garlic, but this place was perfect. The atmosphere is nice, the restraunt is clean and a nice place to hang out. The service was phenomenal as well. Everyone was so nice and very pleasant to have conversation with. And they were on top of everything as well, and I enjoyed the energy they all had. It was a really nice experience all around. I will be returning as much as I can. read more

Walked in as a last minute decision with no expectations. Requested a booth and only one available had just been vacated, they moved at lightning speed to make it ready for us. We ordered the thin crust classic combo less black olives. Drinks came quickly, the pizza was really good, zero complaints, good turnout time on order..... should have added extra cheese. We stopped by Rosati's Pizza after looking for a new pizza place to try near us and kind of stumbled upon it while driving by. It's located in the strip mall opposite of TCBY. We weren't sure what to expect when we walked in and found it to be more of a sports bar type feel and had our son with us. However, we were pleasantly surprised by the food, service and overall atmosphere of the place. We decided to try a create our own with their thicker crust (not their full-deep dish) which is called "double dough". Think of stuffed crust pizza but without the cheese, and a little thicker base under the toppings too. It came out warm, fluffy, and basically melted in our mouths. Absolutely perfect for a thick crust pizza! Our son had a traditional thin crust cheese pizza, and after trying a piece of his, I'd say the thin crust is equally as good if you prefer less crust too. Crispy, crunchy, and flakey but not over burnt - just as it should be. They have a variety of other options on their menu as well including sandwiches, wings and your typical bar food appetizers. I'd come back to see if other options were just as tasty. We'll definitely be back because it's so close to our house and the food was great! read more

If you're looking for a nice, light, tasty thin crust that isn't greasy and sets you over the edge - Rosati's has it in the bag! Pizza - thin crust with chicken, light cheese, red sauce, black olive, onion & pepper for $24. Felt a little pricey but was normal for what pizza is going for now. I personally liked the fact that it was light and didn't make me feel heavy after, the taste was superb, but the sauce is a little sweet for me. I can tell they put a good amount of sugar in it, which I'm not a huge fan of - however, not enough to put me off entirely. The chicken wasn't rubbery or chewy which I was super glad for! My husband said this is his new favorite place! Service / atmosphere : we did takeout on a Saturday night and they said it would take an hour, however I think it took them a lot less time because the pizza was almost cold by the time we came. It has a nice Italian feel with a grille and bar twist, but is warm and welcoming. The staff seems great and we had no problems with them! Will definitely come back here! Decided to visit this place since it's next to the sauna I go to. If you're a thin crust pizza kinda person, this will be your place! The dough is light, airy, and cwispy. Not burnt. Just cwispy. The sauce is great! The cheese ratio was good as well. I gotta half n half cheese and chicken/bacon pizza for my husband. He says the chicken is good quality. Overall good first experience here. If I happen to be out in this part of town again and need pizza, would definitely come back. We got a thin crust for the kids in the group and a regular/thicker crust for the adults plus the "dough nuggets". The name leaves a little to be desired but they were a hit with our whole group. Because the power is out in just about all of North O, we decided to find dinner out West and Rosati's. We ordered a large monster, 1 lbs of boneless wings and an antipasti salad. The pizza was really good, I def liked it better than Mama's and the crust was sturdy without being cracker like. The boneless wings were decent, I would order them again. I the antipasti salad was a bit of a let down, it was a garden salad with a little (and I mean little) deli meat and cheese, some plain old green and black olives, their famous house made giadineria pickles were noticeably missing. If you just want a local pizza that isn't Dominos, it's fine. I ordered takeout, thin crust pizza and chicken fettuccine Alfredo. I thought the crust was too soft and almost under cooked. It tasted fine, and to be honest I ordered extra sauce, so that could have been the problem. The Alfredo sauce was forgettable though. I would def recommend getting a different pasta dish. Rosati's is a good place to come and hang out. Lots of TVs and lots of seating. My husband and I both ordered the Calzones and they are HUGE. On Sunday you get get a two topping calzone for $9 which is basically two meals. I couldn't even eat half of it! I'm not a huge pizza lover because of the carb overload. Nevertheless, being from Milwaukee (very close to Chicago and enjoying deep dish pizza), I had to give this place a go. I was very impressed. I only ate about 2 slices and they settled well in my stomach, so that tells you it was not greasy and the quality of the ingredients was fresh. I only have one complaint about this place. We placed the order to go. We arrived after 25 minutes (time we were told to wait) and our pizza was not ready. It wasn't until another 25 minutes that we got our order. I wonder if they gave our pizza to another party. I was a little upset because I was hungry but at the end it paid out. If you don't want to travel all the way to Chicago for a deep dish pizza, I feel confident saying this will be the closest you will get to experience their pizza. read more

I dropped in today for lunch with a co-worker to try the new establishment. The place was clean and not busy. When we walked in there was one guy attending the floor. Despite this, unlike other's experiences there, service was prompt, attentive, and friendly. We both got the 2 slice lunch combo for $5. It is offered in Cheese, Pepperoni, and Sausage. We had Pepperoni and Sausage. The crust for the special is their Double Dough. It was soft and not greasy, though a little under flavored. The toppings were good and the cheese was more than adequate. Also, the slices were pretty huge, I think together they equated to half a 14" pie. I think this is a solid addition to the area. The pizza was good, the price was right, and the service was more than I could ask for. My experience was very positive and I will be visiting again since they have daily specials, ie. half price wings, pasta and pizza pie special pricing, and I would like to try their take on Chicago-style pizza.
