Bbq chicken pizza
Shelby C.

Grabbed dinner here the other night and was pleasantly surprised! Super friendly staff and a decent selection of food and drink. I ordered the ham and cheese sandwich but they were out of ham so I went with the bbq chicken pizza on the advice of a fellow patron. It really was delicious and hot and fresh and a really good size for the price. I also got two cans of an IPA from a pretty decent selection of beer. For the price, I was super happy. The place is COVERED in huge tvs, and there's tons of seating all around. It's not too dark so it doesn't feel like JUST a bar but somewhere you could bring the kids.

WING WEDNESDAY 8$ BONE IN for 8. I got the Caroline reaper bone and wings. They were spicy but not too spicy. I wasn't able to finish I went at 5pm. There's only one bartender, so it gets a little hectic, I'm with friends So I don't mind. It really is just your neighborhood bar. Most people know each other by names. It's super friendly. Son of our lots of TVs and they take requests for stations to!

Hot buffalo wings (comes with more than 3!)

We helped our son move today and after a long day we were craving some pizza and beer and discovered that Blondie's was only a few blocks away. This is definitely a sports bar with the small town feeling which was perfectly fine with us. We were greeted as we walked in the door and chose our own table. There is also a beer garden in the back that we did not check out. We ordered some wings and a pizza. The buffalo sauce wings were the classic wings with Frank's sauce and were really good. We also ordered the Meat Pie and it was alright. It was cooked fresh and the ingredients were good there just wasn't a ton of flavor in the meats that were on it. I had saved my ranch from the wings and ended up dipping my pizza in it which was pretty good. There is a full bar, beers on tap and a ton of canned drink options. I could totally see this as a great place to hang out with friends if you live near by.

We were greeted and given menus quickly. We ordered and received drinks. Finally our food order was…read moretaken. I enjoyed a Snowbeast Winter Ale while waiting for our food. We had potato skins with cheddar and bacon as an appetizer. It was tasty but not wonderful. Bookguy had fish and chips. The fish was great, very crispy and light. It was a big portion so leftovers provided dinner later. The fries were a generous size and good too. I had a patty melt on rye with a salad. The salad was pretty standard and I really liked the patty melt-- big enough to take half home and not greasy. It was rather noisy while we were there and they probably could have used another server. We enjoyed our lunch and plan to come back again.

I went with the fish and chips and was blown away by this portion size and flavor! Two HUGE cod filets accompanied by a side of fries, but I went with the onion rings as I heard they were delicious. The cod has a thick, crunchy breading around it, making it very very filling. The onion rings were very unique. Not a long onion deep fried, but small onion pieces within the breading. I've never had something like that before, but they were golden brown and amazingly crunchy. Make sure you get extra tartar sauce for this dish because you're going to need it! Service was quick and easy for a take out order. I would come back for another meal to try their other menu options and drinks. Thanks for a great first impression!

They have a variety of games, like Yahtzee, Jenga, Shut the Box, etc that you can play at your table for free. On the weekend, the kitchen has a more limited late night menu. Still a good selection of appetizers and pizza as well as all the beers. Definitely will be back!

I came for the Detroit-style pizza, easily the most underrated pizza style there is. If you know, you know. I ordered The Cadillac: cream cheese, cherry peppers, hot honey. On paper, it's chaos. In practice? A beautifully thought-out balance of sweet and spicy. Rich without being heavy, heat without going overboard. Someone in that kitchen gets it. And for a moment, it's flirting with greatness. Almost a perfectly executed Detroit pie... until the crust. That signature Detroit crisp--the caramelized, fried-edge crunch--is just a little undercooked. Not bad, but quickly soggy. Just missing that final snap that makes this style elite. Still, credit where it's due. This is a valiant effort, and not an easy style to pull off outside its home turf. I see you, Omaha. You're closer than you think!
