I purchased a 14" deep dish pizza yesterday. It was a half classic and half hawaiian. It was terrible. The sauce tasted very strange. The crust was overcooked. I was very disappointed. They advertised it as being a Chicago style pizza. Let me say it was not! I used to live in Chicago and have had pizza from Geno's, another from the real Uno's, and from Chicago pizza and oven grinder. Those are GOOD pizzas! Not only that, this pizza cost me over $37! Very happy that we discovered Rosati's. We ordered for pickup a 14-inch Chicago Style , with sausage, meatballs, and mushrooms! Wonderful! We'll definitely be back. By the time I arrived to pick it up, it was boxed, and ready to go. Like that the pizza was protected from cardboard with a large sheet of foil. It's a small place. Never had "Chicago Style" pizza, apparently the toppings are under the cheese, and there was a lot of spices and granulated sprinkle cheese shaken all over the pizza. Just wasn't my thing. read more

Awesome place! The apps were all so good we tried the jalapeño poppers, mozzarella sticks, dough nuggets and the wings. The wings were so big and had a great crunch and so flavorful. Rosati's Pizza- pizza is in their name and they don't have pizza dough. I guess the new management is no better than the previous. The sad part of this review is that I called to confirm they were open and the girl said yes. Upon arrival, she informed us they they did not have pizza dough and could not make pizzas. Again, it's in their name, why are they open. I think the Rosati's company should really vet their franchisees a little better. How can you put the company name on the building if you can't make pizza. Disappointing to say the least. Somebody please get these wanna-be businesses out. This is a small establishment. There is no table service. Place your order at the counter and take a seat. Not too many tables. They apparently do a lot of take out orders of pizza on a Sunday night. We ordered a large deep dish pizza with garlic, Italian sausage and mushrooms. We also had some fried pickles and a Cesar salad with anchovies along with two fountain sodas. The deep dish pizza ingredients were tasty but I got spoiled eating Chicago deep dish corn bread crusts. Rosati's crust was a crispy crust but it just taste Like crispy crust without flavor. The pickles were interesting and came with a package of ranch dressing. The ceasar salad was good with a lot of shaved parmesean cheese. The ceasar dressing with a bit thick. And I could not toss it in the platter it came in. I asked For anchovies. They cost over $3. The Diet Pepsi I got from the fountain was tasteless. Deep dish was delicious. Don't let the current status reading fool you. This deep dish remind me of Chicago style pizza... In Chicago :) the crust isn't totally like the big names in Chicago (Lou Malnotti, Unos, or Gino of East). We ordered pepperoni and it was tasty. Shoulda ordered sausage and cheese to compare it to typical Chicago style pizza toppings, but I don be me some pepperoni. Thin crust tastes great too :) Thanks again for the great pizza! read more

Very disappointed this last order. We have been getting pizza here for years. I know they have changed ownership, but there still should be some consistency. We ordered a customize pizza and paid for each item. We did not receive any pepperoni and we paid for extra garlic and the pizza was very bland due to no pepperoni and little if any garlic. Don't waist your time!! Felt bad for the guy working by himself. Tried calling bunch of times each time put on hold for more than 10 min. So I drove in to order in person... walked right out I see the owner responding to some of these issues that I see people posting.... he/she is doing nothing about it.
