Stopped by this gas station and was pleasantly surprised! The woman gave us a sample and it was so good we got the three chicken tender box with biscuit and a Diet Coke for the road. The chicken is definitley better than KFC, crispy, and warm. The bathroom is probably the cleanest in all gas stations - note that you do have to buy something to use it which is maybe the reason why it's so nice. Highly recommend! read more

Service is fine. This place is located in a gas station convenience store. The food definitely felt like it was prepared at least a day prior. Wings were lukewarm and dry and the wedges were fine. The chicken sandwich was soggy and the bread was super hard and chewy--definitely not worth $8. Go to any other fast food place and it will be cheaper and tastier read more

I've been here twice, one after a hike and another time after seeing the snow. Every single person who helped me out has been so nice. Clean gas station, well stocked with unique stuff, and good gas prices. The chicken combo I got the last time was so good. Honestly, better than popeyes or KFC. It's so juicy, and the chicken is super crunchy. The seasoning is well done too, doesn't need hot sauce or ketchup. Only gripe is that the wedge fries taste just okay. My husband loved it tho, but he likes anything potato. read more

Just waited in line 20 minutes while they were supposedly doing a shift change! While 5 customers were standing there waiting, one of the employees boxed up all the chicken thighs! Who was that chicken for? Obviously not for us standing in line. Yesterday I ordered 3 chicken thighs and paid for them. Down the highway I opened the box and it was 3 wings. Place is starting to go downhill. I left today go to Popeye's as the wait continued past 30 minutes! read more

Amazing fried chicken. Located at a Mobil gas station on Monroe, just off the I-10. Crispy outside, juicy but cooked though inside.....yes the white breasts are perfect. The Cajun spice is not strong but just right. I find this fried chicken far superior than Popeyes of KFC. Family and company have never been disappointed. Easily 5 stars. read more

The last two times I've used KKC chicken dinners - just been beyond awful dried out chicken. It's obviously cooked earlier this morning. I just bought it at 4:30 in the afternoon. I have always enjoyed their chicken except for the last two visits one being today, March 24. They need to get their act together or they need to close. We had to throw it away, we couldn't even eat it $30 down the drain for two boxes of chicken meals. read more

This is gas station Fried Chicken. It is located inside the convenience store of a gas station. That being said, it is really good. The chicken is flavorful. I drove all the way out here not knowing it would be a gas station. I prefer it over some other well known fried chicken places. read more

Terrible! Chicken tenders were inedible. I had to throw them away. I have no qualm's with the fact that this is in a gas station. It was just really really bad chicken. Dry and rubbery. Very disappointing. read more

The people were rude. I re-filled my soda and they charged me 4.69. So 1 piece of chicken a small mash potatoes and soda came to 14.32. Got back home and the chicken had the texture of leather and did not taste very well. The mash potatoes were very good. Should of gone to KFC. read more

Stopped in here last week. They advertise outside 3 pieces of Chicken strips for $6 and when we went in the woman at the counter says how many chicken strips would you like? 3, 4, 6 or 9 pieces? So I thought about it and told her I wanted 6 pieces. They charged me $16 and their receipt says all sales final. I told her she overcharged me and she said you didn't order two orders of the 3 pieces, you ordered 6 pieces. Oviously this is a bait and switch advertisement. They don't have any morals to ask you if you want two orders of the $6 special, instead they charge you a higher amount. I spoke with the manager and he was rude and told me thats the way it is and have a great day. In other words, no refunds, get lost. I will be forwarding a complaint to the State Attorney General's office for false advertising and bait and switch. read more

They also sell jamabala, onion rings, and potato mash as sides. It's literally in a gas station market. Two seats if you want to eat. Words cannot explain how great the food and the people that work here are. Abba is one of the kindest people I've met who really cares about his customers and business. He made it a point to get my name and remember me. The amount of food you get for the price is insane, and the chicken is the best in town. Oh and the honey biscuits are out of this world. So I have had Krispy Krunchy chicken at other locations and I absolutely swear by this chicken spot. Biscuits are amazing. Chicken at this spot is really hit and miss. It really depends on when they cook the chicken. Last few times the chicken was old and you have to beg for sauces usually. They will charge you for extras in case you need more. I usually get strips and and sides and usually the strips are on the older side. If they have any made the boneless wings are amazing I was blessed to get a fresh batch. By far the best I've had. Tried the chicken sandwich and it was terrible and beyond old. Since I've had questionable experiences the last few times I may not be returning as there is another place in the valley that offers their chicken. read more

This place is great chicken for a gas station. We stopped on our way to Indio and would definitely go back when in the area. The biscuit are so good. My older two kids loved the chicken and my youngest loved the Mac n cheese. My only complaint is very limited seating due to it being in a gas station, maybe put some tables outside. Next time I will buy some of the seasoning they sell. read more

Amazing fried chicken and the staff is wonderful too. The lady at the counter gave us a sample of the tender chicken to try first. The sample itself was sooo big, we thought it was a whole chicken breast! Very flavorful fresh food. The jambalaya was good and the honey biscuit is a must try! Definitely would not guess this was chicken out of a gas station. Probably the best fried chicken I have ever had... The staff extremely sweet, and they even let us sample a piece of chicken before we ordered! The cajun tenders were so flavorful, but not spicy like we imagined, which was great for me since I am not a big spicy person. We got 8 Cajun tenders, a Small potato wedge, 2 small mac n cheeses, 3 biscuits, and a side of pickles. It fed three adults and we even had leftover. The Mac was so creamy and the noodles were cooked to perfection. Wedges were also pretty good. Biscuits were a perfect texture. The original sauce reminded us of thousand island and was so delicious on the chicken. The ranch was tangy and great with the wedges. The BBQ was sweet and smoky. The pickles were also pretty good, not a ton of flavor but perfect to throw in your mouth with a bite of chicken. We will definitely be back! read more

When i first heard that a gas station had good fried chicken, I dismissed that thought. We did end up trying it at my husbands insistence. It was delicious! The chicken was indeed crispy on the outside and moist inside. It brought just enough heat, but we added hot sauce anyway. The clerk was very accommodating to our needs. We will go back. The food and customer service at this location exceeds expectations. I ordered the Cajun chicken tenders, fried fish and honey butter fried shrimp tonight. After engaging in shameful Krispy Krunchy gluttony, I reflected on my behavior. It was 100% worth it. As far as gas station chicken joints go, this place is elite! I had been noticing the signs for Krispy Krunchy Fried Chicken at various Shell stations but never stopped in until finally we saw one at a Mobil station in the desert and said lets give it a try. They have all sorts items - chicken tenders, buffalo/bbq wings, fries, onion rings, mac and cheese, red beans and rice, fried pork and rice balls (takes an extra 7 minutes for those). If I had to dine a gas station, I would go to one with a Krispy Krunchy - good stuff. read more

Just ordered from Postmates. Easily some of the worst fried chicken I've ever had. It had a burnt taste to it that was just off. Even the biscuit that was thrown in was burnt. It's like they didn't even care. Never again. read more

This definitely beats KFC and Popeyes by far. I've always go to other KFC but this I've been wanting to try. Chicken is very juicy. The tenders were dry and slightly too salty for my taste. I bought the family meal with a side of mashed potatoes and gravy for about $40. Not to mention the box ripped from it being so heavy. It was more chicken than I expected. It was *12 pc of chicken mix *about 8 cajun tenders * 6 biscuits * and a family size potato wedges. Plus I added a side of mashed potatoes and gravy. What I didn't love was the chicken having so much grease. You can still see it when you reach the bone. The staff was decent for my first time there. My husband and I tried this today since the cold weather screamed Fried Chicken! We loved it. The chicken is moist, super flavorful, the red beans and rice were decent as well as the jambalaya. The biscuits were AMAZING! I'm seriously addicted to those things. Legit this is some of the best fried chicken in the desert! Not greasy and it says its never frozen. Totally not what you'd expect from a gas station but I'm a believer now! Ive also had the philly (they use rib eye!) and the gyros....SO FREAKING good! Im amazed! read more

The fish and chips were skimpy and boring. Had zero flavor unless you used the jar tartar sauce or ketchup. The individual sized pizza is the same as the small pizza and both only come in thin crust which my friend was not a fan of. They use premade, not homemade pizza dough.

I drive 100+ miles for a clinic down the street for work occasionally and coming here is the highlight of the day. They recently increased the thickness of the bacon in the sandwich... freaking epic!
