Chili Cheese Fries
Courtney N.

The chili cheese fries are not your typical L.A. hood spot chili cheese fries, so if you're looking for that, don't come here. Chili doesn't taste good at all. Nacho cheese is unusual, but good. Fat crinkle cut fries were good.

Bob's Twin Kitchen is a staple in our community. My mom (may she rest in peace) put me on as a child as it was as often catered to our home in the early 2000's. The chili cheese fries are my favorite. If you're expecting meat in your chili, then this probably isn't the dish for you. The chili salsa itself is flavorful and spicy and I occasionally buy their jars to eat at home.

Nice change and a local favorite. We only come for a few things. Normally we come for taquitos & fries. They never disappoint. But today we tried burgers and they were just ok. They were pretty small compared to other burger places. The onion rings were good. They are always friendly and food comes out timely for a fast food place. The place is small and fills up fast. It could use an update to the decor but it's clean. We will come back for taquitos & fries but probably not anything else.

Our first time here and food was delicious!

Bacon Cheeseburger and chili cheese fries were awesome. Service was excellent. It was a pleasant first time experience.

Anyone who grew up in the old North Indio knows about this spot. It brings major nostalgia and memories from way back when. The food is cooked to perfection and there is usually always some sort of a sporting show on the TV. The staff is always super nice and makes sure we have everything we need. The decor is very sports friendly even though we know the owners love the Chargers as do I!

This was the worst Mexican food I've ever eaten. The taquitos were not crisp and the beans had no flavor.

And they did not disappoint! Wow! Seriously, not a pancake fan, but these were great! I ordered a side of sausage patties, another breakfast item I prefer over sausage links, and they were also very tasty. The place was busy, but we only had to wait about 10 minutes on a Saturday late morning. I'm sure Sundays are PACKED! The service was top notch and friendly. I'm not always in this area for breakfast, but if I am, this just might be my next go to.

The wait staff was friendly and attentive without being overbearing--my coffee and water were constantly refilled without even having to ask, which always makes a difference. I ordered the BLTA along with their German pancake. The BLTA was exactly what you want--crispy bacon, fresh lettuce, creamy avocado, all put together on toasted bread, and paired perfectly with seasoned fries. Now the standout: the German pancake. Just a heads up--it takes about 15-20 minutes to come out, but it's 100% worth the wait. It's served hot, puffed up, and finished with powdered sugar and lemon. Light, slightly crisp on the edges, and soft in the middle--really well done. Overall, great food, great service, and a relaxed vibe. Definitely a place I'd come back to

Tucked away in downtown Indio, Papa Headz might just be the most lowkey burger spot ever. You can…read moreorder from their little side window (look for a flower mural) or pop inside Gabino's Crepes where they've got a register set up but don't let the unassuming setup fool you...this place is serving up some seriously incredible smash burgers. The menu keeps it simple: burgers, fries, shakes. But when you do the basics right, that's all you need. Everything is made fresh to order, but somehow they keep the wait time quick. We grabbed a round of burgers and split some fries, and everything came out fast and hot. Burgers: 10/10. This is what they're known for, and for good reason. Fully customizable (go for the double though, trust me), with gooey cheese, fresh toppings, and that perfect thousand island style spread. One of the best classic burgers I've had in a long time. Fries: Don't sleep on the specialty fries. I went with the Fiesta Fries and HOLY HELL WERE THESE GOOD! Ground beef, shredded cheese, G sauce, sour cream...BOMB. Definitely a crowd favorite. Drinks: Washed it all down with an ice cold lemonade. Perfection. :) The hospitality was just as solid as the food. The staff here are friendly, welcoming, and all around great vibes. This spot is a gem and absolutely deserves the love. I will be back!

Just an honest review here…read more. Saw this place on an IG reel and didn't even knew it existed, so thought I'd check it out. The location is actually two restaurants that operate in one building. When I got inside, the place was absolutely dead. No customers at all. That's always a sign... Cement and brick walls with nothing but a quote from Biggie on one wall and a picture of Guy Fieri on another THATS IT Took 20 min to get our food and when we did, we were VERY disappointed Portions are ridiculously small for what you pay (3-4 bite smash burger = $11) and the food wasn't anything special at all. Dropped $50 on 2 tiny burgers, 1 fry (tiny, $10 and blah) and 2 drinks Left hungry, but not enough to shell out another $50 Staff was polite, but SLOW Double the sizes or cut the prices in 1/2 and you've got something going on, but until then... We won't be back. Good luck!

I ordered the 8 oz filet mignon with a baked potato and asparagus, and it was excellent. Perfectly cooked, flavorful, and exactly what you want from a proper steakhouse experience. The ambiance is polished but comfortable, and the service was attentive without being overbearing. Even the small details stood out. They filter their water, and you can actually taste the difference, which is rare and says something about how much they care about the overall experience. There's clearly a level of consistency and quality here that's hard to find. This easily earns a spot on my top 10 list in the Coachella Valley.

We didn't have reservations and requested to be seated inside. There was a little awkward first impression with the hostess who told us that there was only one inside table left in the back corner. She didn't come across very friendly when we asked if we could see it before deciding if we wanted to sit there or not. I understand they were busy but she was a bit short with us. We were seated in Isabel's section and she more than made up for it. What a gem! She was so friendly and very nice. She made sure to check on us often and we had a lovely time at your restaurant because of her. We are giving this review 5 stars because of Isabel. The seared ahi tuna salad and the ahi tuna nachos were both delicious. The fish was fresh and so very tender with a light dressing. The pulled pork tacos were good too. The brownie dessert was a bit dry though.

I rarely leave reviews, but this experience was bad enough that I feel obligated to warn others…read more My fiancé ordered a Cobb salad, which should be one of the safest, most straightforward items on any menu. Instead, she bit into a sharp chicken bone hidden in the salad--something that absolutely should never happen. This wasn't a small, soft fragment either; it was sharp enough to cause immediate, severe pain and pierced her gums. This is not just a minor oversight--it's a major failure in basic food safety and kitchen preparation. There is no excuse for serving food in this condition, especially something as simple as a salad. We trusted this restaurant to provide a safe meal, and that trust was completely broken. What makes this even worse is that the situation could have been far more dangerous. If swallowed, this could have led to choking or internal injury. No customer should ever have to worry about that when ordering a salad. I strongly urge the restaurant to take a hard look at their food prep standards and quality control, because this is unacceptable. Until then, I cannot recommend this place to anyone.
