I'm going to be booed for an average review. But it's just because I had just come back from visiting Peru and having had wonderful food there. I miss it so much so decided to drive all the way to Longmont and get my fix. Needless to say, I'm bound to be disappointed with stark comparison. So it's not fair, I know, but I also won't knowingly just give away 5 stars when I've had so much better. True to Peruvian food is the various potatoes used in the dishes. Also a must get is the quinoa pancake. So subtly flavored and wonderful texture. Served fresh and hot off the skillet/griddle. The Lomo Saltado sadly can't compare to what we had locally. It's like this: if you want similar kind of beef, you can get a filet style stir fry at any Chinese restaurants. If you crave fries, you can get in any American food joints. There's nothing special holding these ingredients together. Service is exactly what you would expect from a family owned business: warm, friendly and down to earth. You can see how much pride they have based on just the decor and it is very nostalgic.

Family owned restaurant that is the only Peruvian restaurant in Colorado! It's a must try for everyone. I highly recommend the tour plates. Servers are very knowledgeable and friendly. There is also plenty of places to park so bring everyone to try some of the basil-pesto pasta and the perfectly cooked steak! The ambiance is colorful and there is cute merch you can take home!

This place is soooooooooooo cute and the food was so delicious! Portions are pretty good sized and great for sharing. They have a lot of fun drinks that seem to be aorth trying as well! This place is far for me, but I am willing to drive to get it. I would reccommend you try it :) The service is really good too! They came back to use at least 4 times before we were ready to order, but they were super nice about it!

I've been told this is the best Peruvian restaurant in the area, and it did not disappoint! They have a lot of interesting options on the menu, including Peruvian tours, which are sets of 3ish complementary dishes. It was hard to decide what to order! Finally settled on the tacu tacu with lomo, which is a rice and beans "omelette" (kinda like a hashbrown but made with rice and beans) with steak and sauteed veggies. It was SO delicious, very well seasoned with a tasty blend of Peruvian flavors. The maracuya (passion fruit) juice is made fresh daily, refreshing, sweet and a little tart. The service was polite and attentive, with a higher-end but friendly vibe. The restaurant is brightly decorated with a variety of cultural items and cute neon lights. It's a little bit of a drive from the Denver area, but I'm already wanting to come back and try some more of their dishes. Excellent cuisine!

I spontaneously stopped in after reading reviews of the place. I love Peruvian food but hadn't had it in years and have been spoiled by Coya Peruvian restaurant in Del Mar, California years ago. I appreciated that Rosario's offers a several choice combos as $25 "tours" that feature three items, though choosing was hard because so many items looked delicious, and there are NO SUBSTITUTIONS on the specified tour offerings. Laura's service was excellent, explaining the difference between different dishes and assuaging my spice concerns and that spicy was not Mexican cuisine level spiciness. The Tours are served bento box style. Tour 1 enabled me to try the Mahi Mahi ceviche, Papa Rellena (Fried stuffed potato filled with seasoned ground beef, & egg) and Arroz Chaufa with Chicken (Peruvian-style fried rice, with egg, red bell pepper, green onion, and chicken). Everything was delicious. I will definitely return to try more items!

Dining area with flat screen television. They had a video playing that featured gorgeous mountain views.

I wasn't aware of this restaurant in Longmont. I've always loved Peruvian cuisine. Lomo Saltado is my favorite Peruvian dish. I would seriously go out of my way to drive over an hour or more to dine here. That's how much I love this place. The staff is very friendly, ambiance is great and the food is phenomenal. If you never tried Yucca, order it here! It's similar to French fries BUT better! I've had Yucca often in the past. This is hands-down THE BEST! The waitress offered to bring more out but I was stuffed. Nice gesture on her behalf. For my main entree I ordered Lomo Saltado. Fantastic dish and Rosario's didn't disappoint! I skipped dessert. However, looks like they have some yummy options. I will try their flan during my next visit. Again, I will return here as I would love to try more of their delicious food. If you're curious about Peruvian food, check this place out. I hope they do well and succeed! I LOVE gems like this!!

Peruvian food is one of my favorite types of cuisine, and this is a great example. If you are a foodie and like unique food, you will love Rosario's. They cater to us for sure with their "food tour" options- for $25, you can get three different portions of various dishes on their menu. My husband and I shared food tour 6 and 11- there wasn't a bad dish on either plate. I fell head over heels for the ceviche- the mahi mahi swims in onion and a spicy sauce with fresh cilantro, with a citric tang. The aji de gallena was my next favorite- shredded chicken in a creamy sauce reminiscent of tetrazzini, with potatoes hidden throughout. My husband loved the tallarin saltado, which was like a steak version of lo mein. The srroz con camarones was like a Spanish rice with shrimp, good but not as impressive as the other dishes. The calamari was pretty standard, but it was served with a creamy cilantro dip that I enjoyed. We also had the pisco sour, the maracuya sour, and the chica sour. The maracuya sour had a strong passionfruit flavor that had me and my husband fighting over it. The chicha morada is a beautiful purple color, with the perfect amount of sweetness from the corn- my #1 drink. Our server was very sweet and patient with my terrible pronunciation! Love the interior with its neon lights and Peruvian touches. Highly highly recommend and will be back for sure.

It's as if you flew to Peru to have a meal. We were greeted and seated by our waiter JUAN. With a smile he helped us review the choices on the menu and there are quite a few choices to select from. We selected our meals, the #1 and #11 Tour plates. The #1 Tour Plate is Ceviche - Papa rellena - Chicken arroz Chaufa. The #11Tour Plate is Arroz con Camarones - Fried Calamary - Ceviche. Inside is just like being there. The decor, music, and aroma of all the great food just makes it happen. What to have some Great Peruvian Food at a very affordable price then Rosatio's is where you want to be.

Interesting & unique food fun, clean place. Very friendly staff. Just happened to find it and it's a gem. Seemed very traditional.

10/10 would absolutely recommend. Joe we love you thank you for amazing service! We had it all,…read morethe lamb burger, the donuts, the tortellini, the chicken salad sandwich, Benedict's and the best margaritas in Denver. The food, the service - I couldn't have asked for a better experience after a prior evening letdown. I'm not a chicken lover but the chicken salad sandwich was phenomenal. It was well balanced and the focaccia delic. My absolute favorite were the donuts, I could swim in that compote. Every dish was spot on and I'd absolutely return. Thanks for the Texas inspired margaritas Joe

We came here with a huge party and it was a fun experience! The servers kept our waters topped up…read moreand we had a really interesting experience eating all the food. The server gave us a lot of info like telling us which food dishes were James beard award winning. The breads were yummy but very small and the server came around to distribute it to us individually. We tried the fresh bacon first -- it's basically a piece of pork belly in a garbanzo bean mush with butter / oil around it. I liked the bean mush the most, it added a lot of flavor to the pork. The pork is actually pretty similar to a piece of Kalua pork, we were eating with some Hawaiians and they thought it was just like kalua pork minus rice. I ordered the artichoke tortellini but it was extemely rich and I was a bit shocked by how creamy it was. Served with small pieces of artichoke hearts and some cheese. I found it was best if you ate it with a bit of the broth as it adds a lot of flavor that balances the super creamy tortellini. I loved the dessert-- it's basically a chocolate cake with raspberry sauce. Some of my table mates ordered the peas and carrots dessert and it looked really interesting kind of like a salad. I took off a star because they seemed to keep clearing only half the table and taking away our silverware without giving more. We found ourselves short of utensils a few times! There could also be more clear signage about where the bathroom is.
