Twas the night before our Yelp review and I double checked my phone to make sure my invite was downloaded and my Waze map was reviewed and I had from work about a 30 minute commute. On the day of I arrived and the only woman of color to enter the room - and that was ok because I belonged in the room. There was so much food, presentations from the chef and the amazing food kept coming! The tacos, the pizzas,, the wings, the drinks and more food, delicious food for sure!! So much food we shared and enjoyed!! The drinks were tasty and the presentation was delightful! What an awesome customer experience! If you're looking for something good and don't mind the drive then this is the place to go! However, after the tasting, I took my husband but the experience was different, the cost was expensive but we enjoyed it.

I have been wanting to try this place and am so glad I finally did! I got the chicken enchiladas, chips and salsa, and churros and they were all fantastic! I have a friend who has Celiacs and this is her absolute favorite gluten free restaurant because they have so many delicious options. The churros were the highlight, perfect for sharing with friends. Make a reservation if you're coming with a group for dinner, to be safe.

The restaurant is very cute and the wait staff was attentive. I went with a huge group of people and the staff took care of us all. Salsa & Dip Flights: Roasted tomato salsa, tomatillo salsa, & chipotle salsa (very very spicy). Guacamole (my fav), corn esquite (2nd fav) & queso dip. Served With Tortilla Chips Mesa Ceviche - really liked the plantain chips that came with this! It was good but not my personal favorite Peruvian Wings - these smelled so good! Very tender and the flavor was great Chicken Flautas - loved these! Sweet Plantains - maybe my favorite of the night. Crispy and soft and sweet. Literally perfect Tlayuda (Mexican Pizza): Corn Flatbread topped & baked. Types: Pollo Pastor (my favorite of the bunch), Barbacoa (good flavor, but same salsa as the chipotle dip so very very spicy), Carnitas & Vegetarian A little dry, so compared to the other food was not as amazing but still good! Taco Flights: Biggie Birria (huge! And crispy with great flavor), Pollo Pastor, Mahi Mahi, Nopales & Mushrooms I had the mahi mahi and I liked it a lot actually. I heard the vegetarian and pollo ones were also great Shrimp Risotto - not my favorite. Though by this time I was also very full Refried Black Beans - thought these were very creamy. Liked them as a side! Papas Bravas - did not like this very much. Didn't have much flavor to me Tres Leches Horchata Cake - very pretty! And tasty! I personally liked the churros more but this was still really good Churros - SO GOOD! Crunchy, soft, sugary with chocolate and caramel sauce. And huge! Hands down amazing

Thank you Mario & his fabulous team at Mesa Latin Kitchen, Matt & his Yelp Elite team. This is the best Yelp Elite dinner I ever visited. I love shrimp risotto, mahi mahi ceviche, Chicken& pineapple pizza, vegetarian taco with lots of shiitake mushroom. All of those items I mentioned are so delicious. I am impress & want to bring more friends & family. Drinks: Highly recommended their house margarita & Espresso martini. Not sweet. Fresh squeezed lime and no triple sec! Cannot beat good marg with great taco! Desserts: GF Horchata Tre leche & Churros with caramel & chololate dripping sauce. A must try. I love them both :) Please support & give Mesa latin kitchen a shot! Because they are superb. I love their beautiful decor ambience, have a private room, next to a lake etc. I really enjoy this event & will be back for more :)

Great place, solid Latin food from throughout the region and exceptional service. Went for Taco Tuesday and what a deal it was. Tacos are $1 off and if you go before 6:30pm, drinks are significantly reduced. The tacos are huge, hot, filling and delicious. Our server was exceptional, explaining everything about the specials and then delivering meals promptly. Inside the dining room is very large and can handle a crowd. I had been here for a Yelp event a month or two ago and Mesa Latin Kitchen was so good, I had to return. Good food, reasonably priced -- a real deal.

Introducing the Biggie Birria Taco -- truly larger than my face. This show-stopper @mesalittleton has redefined Taco Tuesday: normally $28, now available for $18 on Taco Tuesday. Add a 16 oz draft for $5 or a Mystery Mezcal Shot for $5. Note: the Biggie Birria Taco is currently offered only during Taco Tuesday. Mesa Latin Kitchen showcases popular cuisines from across Latin America. We also sampled their Spring Menu: the Peruvian Brick Chicken was remarkably moist and delicious, the shrimp with green chile mole was richly flavored, and the sweet plantains were a delightful finish. Consistently excellent food and service made the experience a joy.

What a wonderful surprise! The inside is comfortable, warm and inviting. Also, not only was the house margarita amazing and the food delicious, the staff were so welcoming and friendly! Laura, behind the bar, provided great recommendations which I enjoyed very much and she took great care of me! I plan to take my husband and kids back soon! I also love that this is not just your standard Mexican restaurant - for example, they have Peruvian chicken!

Julia was a great server with awesome recommendations. She was attentive and so sweet. The restaurant is clean and modern. The food had hearty meat portions however a little bland in flavor. They had a hot sauce from CA on the table that everyone ended up really liking and ordering off Amazon.

Yelp always has our back when it comes to wanting something specific while wanting to check out a new place. Mesa Latin Kitchen has great reviews and is pretty close to us. Already starting out right. We sat at the bar and didn't wait, despite it being a busy Friday night. I ordered their Serrano margarita and later a whiskey sour. Both were really well balanced and quite tasty. Our bartender was great and checked on us often. Appreciate the attentiveness. For entrees, I went with their chicken enchiladas with salsa verde sauce. This might be one of the best enchilada plates I've had in a long while. The flavors were so well balanced - nothing overpowered the chicken but yet the salsa verde was still a bright spot and left me wanting another bite. Loved this. His meal looked amazing also and he definitely didn't have complaints. His carnitas tacos were packed with meat, something that stands out among meals and wow, the flavors here were also spot on. We each ordered a different side and had nothing but praise for these as well: my corn equites was so good - authentic and flavorful and his nopales and mushrooms were amazing. I felt like we were back in Monterrey. So good. So, we had five cocktails between us with two entrees and our bill was still right below 100. Not bad. We will def be back, maybe today!

One of the high-top tables in the bar area; love the wall art!

This place checks out for several different things: cleanliness, service and food. I was between shifts in the very neighborhood. I needed to write a report for the first shift I had completed before I went here. I sure was hungry, hungry for a decent/good food. Before my dining experience yesterday, I had seen this place before several times. It's time that I tried it for the first time. Once I am inside, I asked for a high-top table seating near the bar. Male and female workers said it's an open seating so I proceeded to grab a two-person table. This high-top area is great. It's away from the main dining area for larger groups. I only saw a few tables occupied. The bar was still quiet for the night (as the time was around 5:15pm or so.) Let's talk about attentiveness. A few different male workers were so attentive. After the menu had been placed, they (separately) came to me and ensured that if I had any questions or was ready to order. This attentiveness went on throughout the entire stay of mine. I went with the Ceviche ($18). Good portion size with tortilla and plantain chips everywhere. The Ceviche part had plenty of shrimp and Mahi Mahi in it. This plate filled me up. This plate easily gets split between a few to several people. Nice appetizer to start your night. Next time I dine here, I will go with the tacos. You can order as small as 1 to several. I like that flexibility. Enjoyed this restaurant!

PERFECTION IN ALL DEGREES!! Where do I start reviewing a wonderful afternoon at Mesa Latin & Mexican Kitchen!! Karyn!! There cannot be a more personable & pleasant person to assist me through my meal, introducing to the restaurant and all its features! From the Art through my food order; amazingly picking up on my food preferences! This is a talent!! The ambiance at Mesa Latin Kitchen is expansive and full of South American Art; a trip to El Salvador ~ South America, where Brevin and his his father, the creators and owners. This is a family owned traveling back 60 years to Brevin's grandmother; the recipes, style, thought threw layout and The FOOD is Devine. Here is a place to expand your tastebuds and experience the fair of Latin - Mexican food, in perfection. Plenty of parking, no worries!! When entering this art filled establishment, I was greeted with smiles and "what is your desire!" Great start in having customers feeling "Welcomed!" I was shown the extensive lounge & bar area, which the patio wraps around - all beautifully furnished and decor; as we walked into the expanding dinning room with full windows facing west, a view of the Rocky Mountains - serenity past the bustling city! In awe I had to stop feasting my eyes, captured by the artwork and varying areas to sit comfortably. Additionally, there is a private room for parties with a huge full walled mural. This area is also facing the mountains with open artful walled privacy, seating 36. Fashioning Mesa Latin encompassed great planning. And YES!! The food! Karyn assisted me through the menues where I had plenty of questions. Having a love for Latin/Mexican fare I love Avocado. The Tacos themselves are cooked to a perfection of "crip," then comes the sensational creamed Avacado laced with Pineapple Pico de Galio, Cabbage, Guacamole & Diced Avocado. The crips texture and silken smooth avacado is sensational, adding my love for Plantains! WOW!! The outside was delicately crisped with a soft silky Plantain inside a topped with some slightly sour cream, beautifully presented on puree style refried beans which were perfectly seasoned to augment the Plantain flavors! Pretty Eyes loves the puree to my astonishment. A perfect late afternoon after a harried day indeed. PS: Owners of Lake House, do visit both!

There was a napkin in my food and have never seen that at any restaurant before,This is not traditional Mexican food not evenclose

Is it only for young people?

No, all ages/generations are welcome. The place is family friendly as well.

Do you have a private space for 20-40 people for a monthly dinner meeting? If yes, does it have media support and a microphone? All participants would have their own dinner and checks. Is there a fee for the room?

Yes we can accommodate that, be happy to. Our GM handles that coordination and planning. You can email him at events@mesalatinkitchen.com

Is the place clean along with the rest rooms?
