Also traditional Texas toast for French toast is nice and thick, these slices are paper thin. And the overall batter lacks flavor. The side ham for $4.50 is not worth it as the ham is paper thin and maybe 2.5-3 ounces. Whereas off island the ham would be 1-3-1/2 inch thick and 5-6 ounces. Ham should also be juicy, but B.C. this is so thin it's almost like Jerky would be, and very salty. When you go into a cafe that says Organic Orange Juice you are thinking fresh squeezed, this is obviously not the case here, definitely tastes no different than the Minute Maid I get for home. The coffee is not very strong either tastes a little watered down and a slight bit chemically from maybe them not cleaning the machine very well. Service is very lacking as well. Other than taking my order the server never came to my table again not even to see if I needed a coffee refill Would not recommend this as a place to stop when visiting Eastsound.
