My husband and I came to the Cascade Bay Grill on our honeymoon for lunch. This restaurant is located on the property of the Rosario Resort right next to the water. We had nice outdoor seating and our server was very quick. We both ordered the crab cake sandwiches with a side of fries and a glass of Chardonnay and they were all amazing. Food came out quickly and everything was fantastic. They are taking all the normal covid precautions here. Masks worn by all the staff and the checkout process was contactless as I was able to pay through their website. We loved eating here so much that we ended up getting reservations for the other restaurant on property, The Mansion, for dinner on the same day.

We stopped here to get a few supplies/food when we stayed at the marina. The Cascade Bay Grill & Store had few supplies if looking for supplies while boating, it felt more geared towards the grill. They have tasty fish and chips if you are in the mood to eat out. The view out over the marina is beautiful and the grill is right by the rocks on the edge of the water, making it a fun place to eat and watch wildlife.

The food and the staff was amazing. I was a bit confused when I called to make a reservation and they said they were booked so we drove down just to see the view and we learned that this restaurant has a different extension then the one attached to this page. Amazing views. Watch out for the jelly fish if you go down to the docks.

Great outdoor patio for a beverage that overlooks the marina! The restaurant is attached to a gift shop/coffee bar where you can also grab food and drink to go. They have 4 beers on tap - two of which are generally rotating plus a good selection of craft canned beer. We ordered the fish and chips and chop salad with grilled corn. The fish and chips were delicious - not too much breading on the fish, although for the price it would have been nice to have more than two pieces. The fries were delicious. Wouldn't recommend the salad - the corn wasn't grilled at all and the overall ingredients/flavor was just lacking. Your typical bar salad but a little under average. Staff is super friendly! Great spot for beers and a quick snack!

Good service. The veggie and sausage pizzas were good as well. Nice view of the harbor from the deck.

We both ordered the steak salad and the portions were way off. Quality and presentation were awful. Would not recommend!

Also traditional Texas toast for French toast is nice and thick, these slices are paper thin. And the overall batter lacks flavor. The side ham for $4.50 is not worth it as the ham is paper thin and maybe 2.5-3 ounces. Whereas off island the ham would be 1-3-1/2 inch thick and 5-6 ounces. Ham should also be juicy, but B.C. this is so thin it's almost like Jerky would be, and very salty. When you go into a cafe that says Organic Orange Juice you are thinking fresh squeezed, this is obviously not the case here, definitely tastes no different than the Minute Maid I get for home. The coffee is not very strong either tastes a little watered down and a slight bit chemically from maybe them not cleaning the machine very well. Service is very lacking as well. Other than taking my order the server never came to my table again not even to see if I needed a coffee refill Would not recommend this as a place to stop when visiting Eastsound.

We only had to wait a few minutes before we were seated and the service was quick. We had good orange and cranberry juice. The breakfast burritos were BIG and filled to the brim. I had l pico, and avocado to my ham burrito and my wife added the same plus sour cream. It was reasonably priced and delicious! We were only able to eat half of our burritos which the waitstaff could tell, so they brought us a few pieces of follow with a chuckle to take home the leftovers.

Staff is all gone from years past. Mansion is still closed and the store is now in the marina- weird. The massive wooden furniture is impressive and surprisingly comfortable. This place has been loving restored and cared for. It was an absolute pleasure to be here and to sit on the veranda. The food was very average, although the Mansion Burger sounded amazing--maybe we just ordered wrong. The scallop/ halibut cake stole the show. I should have ordered two of those, along with the extraordinary Cole slaw ( best ever Coke slaw, imho). Sadly, we didn't stop at the scallibut cake, and the rest was disappointing; wedge salad, drowning in a watery blue cheese dressing, and overcooked lobster ravioli, served with four beautifully prepared scallops. I would return, but I'd order differently--just appetizers and skipping everything else. Drinks and scallibut cakes would make for a 4-5 star meal. The service, by the way, was just okay. She hadn't tried much of the menu, so she wasn't able to describe the dishes very well. She was great about checking on us and warning that the kitchen was slow (it was slow, but we loved taking our time and watching the sun set over the bay). Nothing was awful--what we ordered averaged out to be just ok.

Very impressive little store full of tons of stuff! Groceries, pantry staples, a small produce section, some premade deli food and cookies. I was looking for the bakery items. A previous review mentioned delicious homemade pastries. Finally as I choose a cookie and a salad for later I see them. A small pedestal plate with pastries. And on the countertop behind the register tons of croissants! I said, there they are! The two ladies working were not impressed. I asked for the flavors and the lady said, there is a menu right there. Ugh, not fully awake I realized a line had formed behind me. This is the spot to go before getting in a ferry. The sign was not clearly visible and I felt overwhelmed with the decision so I quickly decided on a raspberry almond. This is clearly a place for locals. Everyone knows what they want and where it is. Not super friendly vibes, but oh well. Took photos of my purchases back in my gorgeous villa LOL, watch for my next review. Super happy to discover this market! And I love a good market! Happy travels. SYOY!
