She said she knew exactly who I was and that I have red hair. I'm blonde. It turns out she is not a pharmacist, despite claiming to be one over and over. I knew she wasn't because she was completely wrong about one of my medications being controlled (it's not). She didn't want to fill one prescription because it was "bundled" with another because it's the same doctor. It wasn't. When I called back to get her license number she hung up repeatedly. I later spoke with the actual pharmacist who insinuated I was lying about her claims and said he didn't have time for it. The manager then not only refused to fill any of my prescriptions but also contacted my doctor about it without my permission. I hate leaving negative feedback for a local business, but impersonating a licensed medical provider is a crime, and the customer service literally couldn't be any worse.

Instead of helping us the women who answered basically refused, stating they were closing in "a few minutes." We agreed we would pick up next day in which case her response was "this can take 48 hours to authorize." Untrue. I have been in healthcare for 20 years, medication referrals do not take that long. She was so rude, unprofessional and honestly sounded angry and irritated to be talking to anyone in general. If upper management reads this please consider retraining your staff on customer service. Just because this is the only pharmacy up here doesn't disqualify you from treating people respectfully. I will be reporting this to the better business bureau.

They said they wanted more info and I told them of course I'll tell my pain management to send info from all the procedure I been getting then they told me they still wouldn't because I'm getting my stimulant from another pharmacy and not them I told them why does it matter and they told me they'll have to talk to my psychiatrist and I told both my psychiatrist and pain management know what I'm taking. If you stop by for ice-cream, tell the cashier up front, so they can tell a staff member to help you out at the ice-cream counter- otherwise you will be standing there waiting. My kids love Thrifty's Ice-Cream; and I love the price, lol! Cheap good ice-cream. I grew up on this stuff. So happy this Rite-Aid is around. (I'm normally not that person but life catches up to you sometimes.) I used the pharmacy drive through once and it was slow. But it kept me from getting out of the car with a sick child. So no worries. The staff here is very friendly. In fact on my little Christmas Day trip, me and one of the clerks were all dressed up. We complimented each other on our outfit and had a big laugh!

Nothing. I went in yesterday to check because, as every review of this place states, they will not answer the phone. They lied about the status of my prescription. I know because as soon as I left, I called my doctor's office and told them what they said. They told me the employees here were lying. Further, I've been a Rite Aid pharmacy customer for over two decades. In Bakersfield, my Rite Aid had twice the patients and I never once experienced the issues this store has, which they blame on the number of patients. It's a disgrace that these people even have jobs. And btw we all notice that this store is next on the Rite Aid chopping block. When that happens, Cal City will be left with no pharmacy. That sucks, but it will be good that all these incompetent and, quite frankly, evil employees will be out of a job. May they end up homeless.
