Nothing. I went in yesterday to check because, as every review of this place states, they will not answer the phone. They lied about the status of my prescription. I know because as soon as I left, I called my doctor's office and told them what they said. They told me the employees here were lying. Further, I've been a Rite Aid pharmacy customer for over two decades. In Bakersfield, my Rite Aid had twice the patients and I never once experienced the issues this store has, which they blame on the number of patients. It's a disgrace that these people even have jobs. And btw we all notice that this store is next on the Rite Aid chopping block. When that happens, Cal City will be left with no pharmacy. That sucks, but it will be good that all these incompetent and, quite frankly, evil employees will be out of a job. May they end up homeless.

She said she knew exactly who I was and that I have red hair. I'm blonde. It turns out she is not a pharmacist, despite claiming to be one over and over. I knew she wasn't because she was completely wrong about one of my medications being controlled (it's not). She didn't want to fill one prescription because it was "bundled" with another because it's the same doctor. It wasn't. When I called back to get her license number she hung up repeatedly. I later spoke with the actual pharmacist who insinuated I was lying about her claims and said he didn't have time for it. The manager then not only refused to fill any of my prescriptions but also contacted my doctor about it without my permission. I hate leaving negative feedback for a local business, but impersonating a licensed medical provider is a crime, and the customer service literally couldn't be any worse.

She was so rude, unprofessional and honestly sounded angry and irritated to be talking to anyone in general. If upper management reads this please consider retraining your staff on customer service. Here's what happened: My girlfriend was filling a prescription for a controlled sleep med. She went at noon and was told come back after 3pm. We called at 3pm and were told to come back at 4:45 (They close the Pharmacy at 5pm on Sunday). When we arrived they told us the system was down and they were not able to give us the prescription....which my girlfriend NEEDS to sleep. It was at this point I realized the system was down all day, and instead of informing us so we could transfer the prescription they covered the issue up. Had they divulged the real situation we could have transferred the prescription. The pharmacy tech told us the best she could do was tomorrow morning...for a sleep med. There was exactly ZERO concern, empathy, or effort to solve this problem on her part. When I called the next morning we were told try to again in the afternoon (system obviously still down). PS: The only reason this review is 2 stars and not 1, is I don't take 1 star reviews seriously. I can see why Rite-Aid Corporation had to file bankruptcy.
