My wife had it written down as 9:20. I called them at 8 am the day of to confirm. She told me that it was at 8 since I was considered a new patient. I said I could make it in 15 minutes and she said no and made me reschedule for a month later. They made me wait three months to schedule this appointment. Apparently it is Adventist Health policy to 'scan the documents' I fill out before seeing the doctor so it was just impossible to let me come 15 minutes late. Unbelievable. It's like working with a person with the empathy of Lord Voldemort. You could be dying on the floor and they wouldn't let you see the doctor until they scan the docs. I should note that I have already been a patient here and doctor Horowitz is good. The office staff is a nightmare. They switched to Adventist Health from Sierra Family Care hence the whole "new patient' debacle.

Unfortunately, Dr. Sanchez has already left Oaktree. The amazing PA's left also. When I called to make an appointment, I then found out the only person I could go to would be Anziano. There is no way I would ever be a patient of hers. My poor daughter was the victim of her rudeness. She actually laughed at my daughter who was very upset and never seeks medical care. So my suggestion is reach out to Adriana Brewer or Megan Ascado that have left Oaktree and went to different places. Also, the wonderful phlebotomist Sessy is no longer there. Not sure what's going on at this place anymore. Happy to have found amazing care elsewhere. They have basically got rid of patients that have PPO's. 1-7-24

Do not go here unless you are sick all the time. But then again, if you are sick all the time maybe they aren't doing their job? Or maybe that's the plan? In the past two weeks, I've taken my son there on the days they advertised to have providers for walk-in's and each time, they have not had any providers. You are better off driving to Tehachapi or Lancaster. What's the point of having a clinic in town if they cannot get providers? Today I went and the only provider that was supposed to be there, decided to leave early.
