It was very important to us to find someone that had the upmost passion for their profession and made sure our children's wellbeing was taken care of. When you first walk in and see the giant giraffe, beautiful hand paintings on the wall and the train that goes on a track just above your head (that's our kids favorite part) you know you are in a very warm and welcoming environment. Each offfice is absolutely blissful as well, there are TVs in each of the corners playing a cartoons, stunning warm paintings on the walls and a plethora of books and toys for the kids to enjoy! Kaye is so pleasant and you can tell she absolutely loves children and only wants the best for them. She is so wonderful to talk to and makes sure to give the kiddos a hug as they leave. I cannot say enough positive words about Dr. Satey and his office…read more For almost 18 years he has been my kids pediatrician. During that time we have built a relationship of trust. I know he genuinely cares about his patients and their parents. The care he has given to all 3 of my kids has been SO good that I won't ever go anywhere else. If any of my kids are sick he goes above and beyond to figure out their issues. I say he even cares about the parents because I have first hand experience of this. During covid I found a golf ball sized mass in my lower neck area kind of tucked under my collar bone. I immediately called my PCP who was out of town. His associate would only see me via a FaceTime call. I explained this was a large mass that needed to be felt and they refused. I then called every single office within a 30 mile range from my house and NO ONE would see me because of covid. Out of pure desperation I reached out to Dr. Satey and asked him if he could just look at my lump and tell me if I should worry or if I was okay to wait for my PCP to come back. And Dr. Satey without hesitation said to come in right away. Once at his office he felt my mass and said it wasn't ok. He made a few phone calls and within that hour I was at Advanced Imaging getting scans and then to the lab to get my blood work done. I was diagnosed with stage 4 thyroid cancer that had spread to my lymph nodes. Dr. Sateys care for me as an adult didn't stop at my diagnosis, he made sure I was able to get into City of Hope for immediate treatment and surgery. My surgeon said it was a good thing I was able to get diagnosed so quickly because my cancer was moments away from spreading from my neck to my entire body!!! I had 2 golf ball size masses along with many more smaller ones and the majority of lymph-nodes in my neck were cancerous. Dr. Satey literally saved my life! Yes his office does get busy and yes he does run behind at times, but if you knew how much he really puts into each patient you would understand. I gladly wait at each apt no matter how long it takes because I know the quality of care he gives. If you're looking for an office that actually provides real patient care then this is your place. A medical provider's office should be a Safe Space--especially for patients who trust their provider with their health and well-being. Unfortunately, that was not my experience with Leslie Figge, NP. Leslie has been my provider for about eight months. During a recent physical, instead of respectfully asking about my behaviors or needs, she awkwardly asked, "Do them do ___?" While this may have been an attempt at inclusivity, it highlights a deeper issue: neither Leslie nor her office staff have taken the time to properly educate themselves about pronouns or the healthcare needs of non-binary patients. Inclusive care isn't hard--it starts with asking, listening, and learning. After eight months of regular visits, the continued misgendering and lack of awareness felt dismissive, ignorant, and uncaring. Because of this experience, "they are finding a new provider." I would strongly caution gender- and sexually-diverse patients to be aware that this office is not a safe or affirming environment.

They are all so friendly even though I imagine they see a lot of patients every day. I also like how there's always an on call doctor for emergencies during after business hours. And when one doctor isn't available, you can see any of the other doctors in the practice. Another thing I like about the practice is that when you call, you talk to someone who's actually in the office, not a call center who's not even there. I called when my baby was a week old and the front office told me that he may not accept us because I didn't meet with him during my pregnancy, once I told them I had zero problems throughout my pregnancy, labor and birth they accepted my baby. The wait time has never been longer than 20 minutes and the waiting room always only has 2-3 other families waiting room. I have only had one minor problem with the front desk. They called the day before my baby's appointment and told me that the appt was an hour later than what was initially scheduled, my husband caught the error and I was able to reschedule the appt for 30 minutes later.

Then when he sends the Armour Thyroid he sends it as some weird name its not even called then was rude to my pharmacy telling them other pharmacies can get it....well so can mine when the actual medication is named proper. Then he sends 2 different strengths which is NEVER heard of. My Endocrinologist that I saw in Palm Springs for yrs when I lived out that way was the one who showed me that Levothyroxzine is actually a synthetic man made medication and I think he would actually know this since its his line of work. I now have an appointment with an Endocrinologist to get me the correct dosage. When I called this office I told them about the 2 different strengths called in and they even told me....no way....not done that way.....one pill. Not 2 separate. But these last few visits have been awful. I took my youngest to get her 4 year shots and was informed the office had "run out" of vaccines and wouldn't know when they would receive more. This unfortunately delayed her starting school. I also took my older daughter for her final dose of the hpv shot in July and was told they didn't have that vaccine either. The office then called me last Thursday saying they had it and scheduled her for today - Monday. I show up and they inform me they ran out of the shot again ! I was irritated that I wasn't even given a courtesy call or email so i didn't waste my time and gas driving over there for nothing AGAIN. Why are the offices running out of vaccines so often ?? Why are they scheduling more appointments than available vaccines ? I feel so disrespected for the lack of urgency or communication from this office.
