I'm always impressed with how well they figure out the problem and diagnose the issue in ways I certainly couldn't have done on my own. They are all so friendly even though I imagine they see a lot of patients every day. I also like how there's always an on call doctor for emergencies during after business hours. And when one doctor isn't available, you can see any of the other doctors in the practice. Another thing I like about the practice is that when you call, you talk to someone who's actually in the office, not a call center who's not even there. Truly grateful that my kids are patients of this practice!

There is a yearly fee of $350 to be a part of this practice in addition to the usual charges of seeing the doctor. While the fee isn't cheap, I do feel like I get my money's worth. For my first visit after I left the hospital the doctor came to my home, which was nice. I never have had a difficult time getting in, usually same day if needed. I've also never had to wait more than a few minutes to see the doctor once I get there. I'm never rushed during my son's appointments and have plenty of time to ask whatever questions I want. I've called after hours more times than I care to admit and typically received a call back in 5 - 10 minutes. The front desk staff is friendly and helpful as well. I really feel we get top-notch service here and am very grateful I found them!

If it's your first time coming, there isn't a big sign that says Children's Hospital, but the address is easy to see on the building. The office is on the first floor, and we had no problem finding it. We had the first appointment of the day, and they got us in right away. I believe the medical assistant's name was Julie, and she was so sweet. I always appreciate friendly front office staff because they're the first people you meet, and she made us feel so welcome. Maria, our nurse, was absolutely amazing. After Dr. Topete dilated my girls' eyes, we had to wait about 20 minutes before they could finish the exam. During that time, Maria jumped right in and helped me with my triplets. As a mom of three one year olds, having someone step in and help without even being asked meant more than she probably realizes. Not everyone would do that, and I truly appreciated her kindness. Dr. Topete was wonderful too. She was patient, thorough, and great with my girls. Every single person we came across was kind and welcoming. It's not often you leave a doctor's appointment thinking, "Wow, that was such a great experience," but that's exactly how I felt. I would absolutely recommend this office. It was a 10 out of 10.

You can find him at this office certain days, or Santa Monica & Torrance. When we were walking in, one of the staff was walking a patient out, he welcomed us and invited us in. The lady at the front desk also warmly welcomed us. Check in was easy, just filled out a few forms. Waiting room is cheerful and clean, we had barely sat down and we were called back to exam room. All three staff members we had contact with were extremely friendly. My son was nervous because he didn't know what to expect but as soon as Dr. Cynamon came in he was put right at ease. The Doctor asked all the questions needed to help him decide the best move. We all really liked him and felt comfortable. He told my mother she was only getting Benadryl not anesthesia for her colonoscopy because he didn't want to have to call 911 should anything happen. Only to have my mother recollecting groaning during her procedure and being told they are almost done. You know how long it takes to prep a new born to leave the house and than the drive - time you don't get back. Both times I was pushed to a provider I'd never met, one of whom approaches vaccine schedules differently than the doctor I specifically chose. You don't pick a pediatrician for a newborn and then accept a random substitute. That's the whole point of picking one. Figured out their office doesn't do its own scheduling. It's handled by a centralized team elsewhere. So the staff in front of you can't fix anything and the people who can are unreachable. It's a disconnected company, and every basic interaction takes triple the effort it should. New parents -- your time and energy are finite right now. Spend them somewhere that can manage a calendar. Look elsewhere.
