I walk on to buy some items, I have some questions but the 3 females on the other side of the bullet proof glass seem too busy punching numbers on their keyboards to acknowledge me, so after about 10 minutes trying to get some attention to ask my question, I decide to leave the merchandise and leave, they seem to ignore the fact that there is a CBS and another pharmacy just 5 minutes away. At cbs you actually get acknowledged at least. Never coming here again. read more

I was in need of new nebulizer tubing and was told by the pharmacist at Walgreens to check another local independent pharmacy. I went over there and got "Burned" with poor service and their policy that you need a prescription for nebulizer tubing. I was confused by this thinking she thought I needed an actual machine, but they require a prescription for some reason. You can buy them on Amazon (but I needed it right away) without a prescription. So, I called Quartz Hill Pharmacy (drove right past it leaving Walgreens to go to the other pharmacy) and the very friendly lady checked their stock and confirmed that they had it. I stopped by and was in and out in less than 2 minutes for only $2.61. Very friendly, fast , and prompt service. Will be checking my insurance and look in to transferring my prescriptions here. read more

We love Quartz Hill Pharmacy! They are always so friendly, they get our prescriptions filled quickly, and they always have things that are hard to find in other pharmacies (ex. salve for ingrown hairs). My son is on 2 different medications and they accept his MediCal. They always get our prescriptions filled quickly. We also really like that they are a family run business. I believe the owner is a vet and we love that they fly that big American flag outside. Took our prescriptions out of this pharmacy. Very rude, because my husbands script was emailed from his doctor after the pharmacist spoke directly to his doctor, with void imbedded on the paper, which by the way Cvs said many scripts come over that way and the pharmacist just calls Dr to verify, my husband was accused of writing his own script. I was yelled at by Dick the owner and told for 1.64 I can take my scripts elsewhere so we did. They don't deserve 1 star. The redhead is a lying witch as well. She denied her accusations but the screaming old owner backed her 100 percent. Gone! Bye! Good ridendene. read more

They gave me medicine that was expiring in a month but on the label they changed it and put a year further. When i pulled their label off i could see that the expiration date was way earlier. I didn't appreciate that and eventually had to throw it away. They do seem like very nice and friendly people but that's unethical behavior! read more

The only thing constant is change, so congratulations to Dick on his retirement. The new management is slowly changing the store's floor stock but maintain their focus on the primary pharmacy task. Yesterday, I came in with a new script, which was surprisingly priced at $700 for a 30 day supply. I said "Forget It" and called the Doctor's Office for other options. Long story short, the Quartz Hill Pharmacy staff found some kind of a discount program, applied for it on my behalf, and this morning sold the drug to me for $110. That's still a lot, but I can at least try it out to see if it works for me. Over the counter items that are out of stock get ordered for next day pickup. I still feel quite comfortable doing business at my favorite neighborhood pharmacy! read more

I have been going to this pharmacy for years all of a sudden change of management and the customer service dies don't know if it's due to change of management or the girls in charge when I went in to fill my prescription for chronic back pain( due to two slip disks 3&4 centimeters) on Monday evening they wouldn't fill it because it wasn't due to be filled till Friday which is fine but having a job and trying to make it there before they close Friday can sometimes be impossible which is why I was there three days early yes only three days early and they wouldn't fill it. Now because I work for a living and commute to Hollywood I'm out of luck and have to go with out Because they wouldn't fill it for me when I was abele to make it there. Now all of a sudden with no warning they changed there hours and no longer open on Saturday so now I have to wait til Monday after work and hopefully I can make it there before they close.They treat every person that has chronic pain like a drug addict not a very good way to treat their customers I understand they get those type of people through there all the time but because I've been going there for so many years you would think they would treat me with a little more respect this place is going downhill since Dick has retired hopefully these girls will get off their high horse someday and have some compassion for people living with chronic pain but till then I will have to suffer because I was a couple days early. And now a perception I've be getting here for ten years they say they ordered but haven't received I am so done with this place I would never recommend this place again this pharmacy is now the worst pharmacy in the valley they leave there customers high and dry and don't let you know till it's to late I hope people see this and stop using them we shouldn't support pharmacy's like this even with the easy to fill prescription I've be going here for more than 10 years and will never go here again read more

First couple months was fairly ok. Once you start to use them more and more you see how terrible some of the employees are. Not all employees. This company is run so horrible it's ridiculous. No customer service skills at all and does not take the time to take care of customers. Not only customer service they never get faxes or calls from doctors that are way more busy than they are. The "manager" who is also terrible and dosent even know how to talk, wouldn't even tell the name of an employee to complain that was extremely rude. Manager doesn't know how to control employees. Overall terrible pharmacy don't recommend. Also this is coming from a certified physician opinion as well. read more

I'm a diabetic, and they can order my OTC diabetic cold medicine for me (it takes about 2-3 working days) so I don't have to pay the shipping costs of an online order. (NONE of the local "chain" pharmacies carry those products or were willing or able to order them for me.) The pharmacist even gave me one of the three bottles I ordered free, because they'd been mistakenly shipped one that was a month past the expiration date. They are also the only pharmacy in town I've found that carries glucose gel in a tube for diabetics (which can be administered to an unconscious diabetic, versus glucose tablets which have to be chewed). Good to have on hand in case of an emergency. I recently had to have a scrip filled on short notice (I'm generally forced to use Tricare's mail-order pharmacy, but this was urgent). Not only were they were cheaper than the chains, but they filled the scrip in five minutes while I waited. It's an "old-school" small pharmacy with a little of everything (gifts, cards, cosmetics, etc.) My new "go-to" pharmacy! read more

The service is good and you get your prescriptions quickly though at a price, the owner treats people horribly often yelling personal information for all to hear. I believe in shopping locally and supporting small business owners but this guy makes it hard. read more

I have been using this pharmacy for 15 years. They are one of the best businesses my family has ever used. Same day service on most every prescription. If they don't have an item, they will take the time to order it for us.The staff is hard working, customer oriented and professional.The owner, Dick, is almost always there, and he makes an extraordinary effort to assure medications are right for patients. Judy, Roxy, Nancy, Ray and the others are always helpful and accommodating. The ONLY issue I've ever had is with my doctor authorizing refills. Even though the pharmacy sends out the request immediately, my doctors office will many times, not respond to their request. This is frustrating, but it is not the fault of the pharmacy. It is the responsibility of the doctor. Love this pharmacy and its employees!! Way to go everyone! read more

I transferred my family's prescriptions to Quartz Hill Pharmacy because they are located close to my home. It is a choice I deeply regret. Customer service is poor. They have lost two prescriptions. I have been to the pharmacy 4 times to pick up the same prescription during the past week and it's never ready. Nothing here shows any concern for quality service or the customer. read more
