As far as the store goes I have had good experiences. The pharmacy on the other hand, I can only question as to why it takes 2 or 3 days to handle refills for medication they have in stock. To top it off, 3 days to get a 5 day supply and told the rest will be available in 10 days... I guess I'll just take half the medication prescribed!!! The one thing I do find infuriating is they will on an occasion just cancel a refill with no explanation besides call if you want... my feeling on having to call is I probably should just call CVS instead. read more

older lady with black and gray hair in a bun who "helped" me at the photo department was completely rude and acted like i was stupid for their faulty photo cropping system. ordered wallet photos and the preview looked great. when i came to pick up the photo, it was totally unusable and zoomed in. i didn't notice until i got to my car as they didn't offer for me to see the photo before purchasing. when going back in, the lady told me it was my fault, didn't show any emotion other than attitude and rudeness. didn't offer a refund until after she argued with me back and forth about it. if a refund was always an option she should've offered it immediately. no customer service skills. walgreens needs to fix their wallet size preview and their staff needs to stop being so entitled. read more

When dealing with the pharmacy you REALLY have to exert your rights!! I had several leftover prescriptions that had accumulated over time, and the clerk said there were none. So I went on the automated system, found a refill, and submitted it. She said it didn't matter that I had refills, she was still going to hold my Rx. I'm extremely sick, my psychiatrist can't see me when I'm sick, so now I'm at home sick with no meds. Extremely unprofessional. Go ANYWHERE but this Walgreens!!! read more

A woman in her 40s or older with dark hair greeted me and gave me my order. Since she doesn't wear a nametag, I don't know her name when she gave me the order . I said I don't take the bag. And as always when I pick up the item when I don't pick up the bag, I get a full refund. But she told me if I take the bag or not, it won't be refunded because the bag is free. I asked her again and she sure did. I don't want to argue with her either. So I grabbed my stuff and went to the car. But when I went to the car, there was no receipt in my bag, so I went back to ask for the invoice of the order. But she said no receipt. I said I just went to pick up another walgreen order at 2840 W avenue L and the staff gave me the receipt. Then she said that the order had an invoice and this one didn't My family and I have purchased online from walgreen many times and every time I go to pick up the item, there is a receipt. but she said my order has no invoice. so I'm very upset with this employee's behavior. There are 2 problems here 1. i don't want to take the bag and want to refund she lied that the bag is free so if i don't take the bag that's fine 2. same day same item and different location but said me as order without invoice. This isn't the first time I've gone to pick up my order. I always have the receipt before but she says she doesn't have one. Always friendly and courteous. This location is also well staffed and makes getting prescriptions filled a breeze. I would spend more to avoid wal.mart. but this is not an expensive place. I think Walgreens is staying very competitive and they offer great coupons and rebates. read more

Typical Walgreens, usually fast, they have a drive thru where I often pick up presciptions sent over from HDMG for my grandma. Sometimes the drive thru can take 20 min though. Its relatively easy to get a flu shot here. It costs 10 cents for a plastic bag. read more

I dropped of my prescription earlier today say about 2:30ish or 2:45ish I provided all my information and was asked to return to pick it up at 4:30. It is now 6:13 and I am still currently waiting for my medication as I write this review! Why ask someone to return at a certain time and then not even apologize for not having your prescription ready? Are you kidding me?? All this time has gone by and if there was a problem how come I was not contacted? And now they're telling me that it won't be ready until tomorrow afternoon?? These people are out of their mind!!! If it were possible to give them no stars at all I would definitely do so, they get a F in customer service and should definitely be trained to be efficient in communicating with patients if there are issues with their prescriptions before they come in and not waist their time.. read more

So my prescription was $255. Got it, went home, and found it on line for $160. Called and said what i found. They said come on back and we'll refund the difference! They did, no hassle. Awesome!! Terrible pharmacy service. Extremely rude and uncomunicative. I had to go two seperate days. My doctors office faxed my rx on Friday. On Saturday I arrived to pick it up. I was made to wait, I was the only one waiting when I arrived, while 3 young women stood behind the pharmacist area, watching me while the talked. I was finally approached and , without any greeting or eye contact asked for my name, date of birth, and phone number. I was walked away from and several minutes later a young woman in a denim jacket came to the counter where I was told she was the pharmacist and wouldn't fill the prescription because the doctors office forgot to put the dosage, one eye drop per eye per day, on the paper work. I asked why someone didn't 't contact the office on the previous day, since my doctor's office sent the fax early on Friday. I was told they, the pharmacy had faxed the request and my doctor had not responded. I left the pharmacy, I was curt,I didn't appreciate the unprofessional behavior or the way I was spoken to. I got home a couple of hours later only to receive a rude call from the same woman saying she left a message and I had not returned her call. Okay. She said she reached my doctor and she filled it. That is interesting. I saved the message she left on my answering machine. Didn't even bother to be slightly polite there either. I returned to the pharmacy on Monday. Same treatment ,new people. I waited for 6 minutes, yes, I timed it. I was the only one. 3 people again. Staring at me while they talked. A young woman with short ,blonde hair, Cici? I believe was her name, approached me. Again, no greeting, no eye contact. Asked me for the info again. Brought the rx, in the bag, to the counter. I told her I had an online coupon. I showed her my phone with the coupon. She TOOK the phone out of my hand and went to another computer. No words or looks exchanged for 4 minutes. She then told me the price. It wasn't the same as the online price, so I asked her why. I wasn't upset or rude. She told me the coupon was wrong and different Walgreens had different prices. She then told me I was wrong because the coupon was for the generic, ummmm, there is no generic for this. I then said I would just pay it and call Walgreens corporate later. She walked away from the counter with my rx and said she was calling the manager to talk to me. I didn't need to speak to the manager, I just wanted to get my medication and leave. She walked over to the pharmacist, Ahn, who unwrapped my bag and said it was an incomplete rx and she wasn't going to lose her license over it! ! What! ! Lots of talking never looking at me. Manager arrives, more talking, no polite words or sorry. I called my doctor's office, who was shocked at the way I was being treated for eye drops! She spoke to the pharmacist, who was also calling for confirmation. I was then told I would have to wait for them to prepare the rx! It was in the bag. ....I kid you not, Ahn, said to me, she didn't know if they had that medication! Finally, the pharmacist rang me up herself and said she needed me to understand the complications. No, I don't. Maybe, if someone would have said, please wait, we are sorry, ma'am. ...anything! I will be filing a corporate complaint. I have the manager on duty 's name. I was a territory manager and store manager in my life and I would have never treated anyone like this. Avoid this pharmacy. read more

This store charges you extra for a bag to carry the items you just bought. Bag tax? Or I can carry the items in my hands and increase my chances of being attacked on the parking lot. If you go to Albertsons they do not charge this bag tax. read more

Love coming here! Never had an issue with the Pharmacy. More the issue is the doctor sending the prescription fast enough, before I get there. Once they know I'm there they get it done within 15 minutes. Always clean and can always find the little things I'm looking for. read more

Nice staff but do not understand customer service. The pharmacy closes from 1:00 PM until 1:39PM on Sat and Sun because they only have limited staff due to few customers I am assume. My issue is that they do not alert the patrons of this closure via any media or store signage. I complained to the Assistant Store Manager that I had driven 1/2 hour to get there only to gave to sit and wait for the pharmacy staff finish lunch. She could have cared less and kept making excuses Why there store hours could not be conveyed, she kept saying that everyone just knows they close for lunch. I felt like I was talking to morons, Finding a good pharmacy is difficult, I better start looking. read more
