    Portuguese authentic

So we got there right at 7 actually a few min early! The owner greeted us and even though we did not have reservations he accommodated us, party of 5. But make reservation because this place gets packed quick! To be honest this was probably the best food I've had in Portugal so far. And all you can eat of it!! we had it all, every dish was authentic and great 5 out 5. Staff was super cool and desert was different but you can tell it was all made with love. Thanks for the great ambiance, dinner and experience! Defiantly recommend this place. Don't forget the white sangria!!

Rosa da Rua was a breath of fresh air!!! As soon as you enter the restaurant, friendly staff will welcome you dearly. One of the server speaks 6 languages, was so impressed, he can relate to all his customers. The food presented neatly and the taste was so good!!! Will definitely come back while here in Lisbon!!!!

Came here on a recommendation and it exceeded my expectations. Super friendly staff, great variety of dishes and great presentation. I loved everything we ate, sorry I don't know the names of the dishes but they were all delicious. This restaurant was slightly hard for our Uber driver to find, but we were determined to find it. If you are visiting Lisbon I highly recommend. This place will not disappoint. Thank you for the warm welcome and yummy dinner.

This place is a gem. I'm sad I didn't give it a try the first day I came across it online. I went there twice before leaving Lisbon. It's 14.50 euros per person for all you can eat (buffet style), dessert and drinks are not included. The white sangria is the best, they also give you a complimentary shot of ginja with a check. It's Portuguese sweet cherry liquor which is absolutely delicious. The food is different day to day and everything is so tasty. Just like mom's cooking. They do have "bacalhau' daily - it's a traditional Portuguese dish which is baked creamy cod and potatoes, the best version I've had in Lisbon so far. They have options for vegetarians too. The service is great. Sandra, Rodrigo and Bernardo took care of us and they all were amazing. Sweet guys, very attentive, all speak English. Sandra's got a great sense of humor as well. Make sure you reserve a table as the place is very popular amongst locals. Looking forward to dining there again next time I'm in Lisbon.

Rosa Da Rua is a nice restaurant in Bairro Alto. It has a buffet concept, so all-you-can-eat for €14,50. Go for the big sangría with it, it is lovely. The food was lovely, not premium quality but that cannot be expected from all-you-can-eat. I enjoyed the codfish and the mussels spaghetti. The only odd thing here was the lack of music. Especially at times it was quiet, which doesn't help the atmosphere. Anyway, we enjoyed this place!

Delicious food. Buffet style. Eat all you want for less than 15€

Elegant little hidden gem in Barrio Alto. This was my first meal in Lisbon and I couldn't be any happier. The buffet style was exceptional. They have many options from seafood to chili to couscous to white rice. The fresh salmon was absolutely delicious. I ate like 4 bowls of salad just to top it off with the salmon. They also offer a variety of cheeses and olives and oiled tomatoes. So good!! Good for one on one dates or for bigger group. The ambiance is very relaxed, elegant but casual. Beautiful decore and very clean interior. Would recommend to all my friends and family.

Goods: - Nice atmosphere: dating, cosy without invading one table intimacy, small groups 3/4 of grown ups; not a place for kids - Affordable: 13,5 EUR for the evening buffet - Some vegetarian options - staff:all friendly + cute male staff (eye candies are always nice to have) Room for improvement: - one too many dishes bathe in oil - lack of vegan options - not that I needed one but where are the deserts ? Tip: make sure to book a table ahead otherwise they will make you wait in the smoky bar next door...

    Charming atmosphere, delicious food

We found this place right around the corner from where we staying just before we left Portugal. We had been hoping for a buffet but didn't realize there was one so close to us. Thank goodness we found out because it was wonderful! The food selections were varied and delicious! There's something for everyone here.

Terra is a buffet style vegetarian place and it was really good! There was a lot of awesome dishes and the staff is super friendly, I really enjoyed chatting with them. There's a cute outdoor seating area with large trees that cover the patio. There's also definitely an almost Indian/eastern influence to some of their dishes, which was great because I love those types of flavors. Some of the dishes they had were couscous, some type of curry dish, and vegetarian pizza. If you're vegetarian, this is a great option! They also have really good desserts as well.

One of my biggest concerns about the trip was finding decent restaurants with vegetarian options and this was such a great option. We reserved on trip advisor for 7:30 and were seated promptly. The buffet was replenished (several times just because of us, so sorry to the other diners) frequently and the food was fresh, diverse, and delicious. As others have mentioned it felt a little pricey as compared to other places in Lisbon and the buffet feels a bit random (no specific theme to the food) but they were so accommodating and everyone in our group was satisfied. The desserts were also appreciated - I especially loved the tiramisu!

I wasn't feeling super hungry so I opted to do a takeout box (€8) of their buffet food. The selection here was fantastic - many lentil/soy based protein options, a salad bar, rice and bread - really the perfect plant based meal where everything was tasty. My average rating really comes from my experience doing takeout. Maybe it's my American mentality, but when they handed me the takeout tray, I made sure to fill it up with as much food as possible (while not overloading). When I went to pay, the owner(?) scolded me and said it was now impossible to close and that I did not do this properly. I apologized and shared my embarrassment with them, but honestly - it was NOT that bad. I wasn't happy that they made a scene where everyone started staring as I continuously apologized and felt stern judgement. Finally, another staff member took over and closed the box for me and I paid and left. After sharing the photos with friends, nearly everyone concluded that it was not overfilled and definitely me just making the most of my limited space. Besides that experience, I still really appreciate them being available and would come back to do the actual sit down buffet so I can avoid this awkwardness again.

Everyone loved what was served. Because it was so good, we decided to go back the next day and we all ordered different food to try out the next day. The second day we went back, Bf wasn't feeling very well. One of their staff would come by to ask him if he needs anything else and is feeling better once a while.
