Now, they have handed me an estimate for over $1,600--including cutting open my laundry room ceiling and walls--without even pinpointing the actual issue first. Their paperwork explicitly states that "additional work may be required" once the toilet is removed, leaving the door wide open for endless extra costs. To top it off, they refuse to take responsibility for putting back any of the finished surfaces or walls they plan to tear apart. They are guessing at my expense and trying to leave me with a massive bill and a torn-up house. If you want a plumber who actually diagnoses a problem accurately before racking up charges, look elsewhere.
