We couldn't have asked for better service from Adam! He came out on a Sunday morning when our basement was backed up! We had a tree root ball that was the problem! They charged $688.00 to Hydro our lines they were here for 1 hour and it was getting dark so they said they would come the next morning to finish. They came next morning and said they needed to charge me again another $688.00, I couldn't believe it, I said you didn't finish the job, he called his manager and said we will charge you half, I said no, he called his manager again and said we will charge you every half hour starting at $350.00 and he said they were there last night for 1 hour 40 minutes and I said no they weren't I have them on my camera they were here 58 minute. Starting with the positive, they were on time and the technician was very professional. My gas valve was changed quickly, correctly, and the same day I called. This was after calling 3 other plumbers who were much less responsive. Service is 5 . The cost however is quite high. I paid almost double what the service should have cost. I contacted Plumbing 911 because I had a pretty severe blockage under the foundation of my house. They were prompt, which was appreciated, but after they cleared the main problem they poured some of the sewage that spewed out of the main stack back into our toilet in the basement. This caused an absolute disaster and ruined the entire basement bathroom. They also had to remove the toilet and I was charged for that, to make matters worse they used my shop vac for clean up, which I can no longer use. Update: The owner ended up contacting me and explained that they dispose of excess sewage this way, I wasn't aware that this is protocol. They ended up apologizing and refunding me the toilet removal and reset to make up for my shop vac being scrapped and explained generally their staff is properly equipped. I called about noon to schedule a water heater repair. Karen told me tech would be out between 1 and 3 that same day and it would be $89.00 for them to come out. Just after 3:00 Karen calls back to tell me the tech is running late and would be there within the hour. Frustrating but understandable. That isn't all though. Before hanging up Karen asks some basic questions: Brand of water heater? Gas/electric? Age of water heater? By the time it is all said and done, they are quoting me a ("ballpark") price on a new heater at $1,200.00! And this was before they even looked at mine!? Seems to me that they could have asked those basic questions BEFORE hours were wasted waiting on a late tech! Then to rub salt in the wound i was quoted over a thousand "ballpark" dollars without even looking at mine? And about the $89.00 to come out and look at my heater? That would have been discounted from the bill if they had done the work. But if they didn't do any repairs/replacement i still owed the $89.00. Worst experience ever. Please do not let these clowns ruin your day like they tried to mine. I made a appt for a water heater issue 24 hrs in advance. The time window was 12-2pm. Shane texted at 11am and said he was on his way. I replied "Ok". 15 min later a imbecile named Brandi called and said they wouldn't be coming until later. Too be honest I would give 4 maybe even 5 stars if the cost of cleaning my drain wasn't 2.5 times what other companies charge. I always try and give everyone a fair chance so that is why I am giving two stars. They were an hour behind schedule but in this day an age I expect no less because in these types of businesses it is hard to keep a schedule because you are forecasting times on previous jobs. I won't hold the company at fault for that. The technician was courteous, professional and promptly did his job which is appreciated. The scheduler was also professional. I will take some of the blame for not requesting a quote but I needed something to happen in a decent time frame while someone could be home. He made quick work if it all and was in and out in under an hour, with the cost being even a bit less than I though it'd be. And even gave me some further tips to help keep the drain open. I had a sump pump failure after a heavy rain. The technician came out the same day and installed a new pump with and a new check valve. The cost was over $600 dollars! which I though was excessive. The Liberty 1/3 hp pump could have been purchased for $137 online with free shipping. I could have also got a new check valve from Lowes or Home Depot. I called on Thursday (7/23) to have a gas line repaired. I had a leak, and the gas company disconnected the line, but I needed a repair and an air test before the gas company would restore service. I called 911, and they were able to come out the same day; however, they told me they would be there between 11-1 and did not arrive until 3:30. Once there, the quote I was given was $700! Although, the guy did say if I couldn't get anyone else to do the work for less than $500, he would do it for $500. Needless to say, I did not have any work done. When I received the quote for a new water pressure regulator as well as overflow tank for the hot water heater he stated it was a 2-3 hour job so I was too taken back by the $580 estimate for everything including parts - I thought it was somewhat on the high range but not worth shopping for other quotes.
