I was referred to Able Sewer & Drain Cleaning by someone I trust who described Glenn as trustworthy and professional. I found that characterization to match perfectly. I hired Able to replace a large section of the soil stack in the basement of our home. I had known the pipe needed addressed for quite some time as it had a few spots where I could see corrosion had formed. At the time of the repair, we had moved out of the house and were preparing it for tenants. I noticed while working that where the pipe had once had spots, it now had a fairly large crack that leaked each time water flowed through it. Apparently since the pipe had sat unused for some time the corrosion sped up a bit. Glenn arrived on a Friday afternoon and quickly assessed the situation. He took the time to give me an overview of the options and potential issues that could arise. As part of the job required breaking some concrete out of the floor, we discussed that the unseen could create issues. He came up with a game plan, gave me an estimate that included a cost range to potentially address those unknown variables and we scheduled the work for the beginning of the following week. He assured me that while the price could vary, it would not exceed his estimate. I found the quote was reasonable and while I didn't want to spend the money, I at least knew that the job would be handled well. On the day of the job, they arrived promptly and began working. Glenn had stated that the job could potentially take all day, but that they would know more as they continued their work - he would call and keep me informed as to how things were moving along. I headed into my office and received a call a few hours later that the work had been completed. When I asked what the bill would be Glenn gave me a figure lower than his estimate. I was a little surprised and asked again to make sure. He shared that since things had gone smoothly and took less time than he had figured that he'd pass along some of that savings to me. It would've been easy for them to make a few extra bucks without me knowing differently, but it showed me just how much integrity Glenn has. Do not use able plumbing the son came out put in a case flange that is out of level 1/2" over 5" that's inches not feet! The rear of the flange is 5/8" higher than the floor and the front is about 1/8" above floor level. He used a broken piece of the old rusted flange to shim the toilet. Today we called them and the owner (dad) came out and had an attitude as soon as he walked in he told me it was the floor that was not level. The floor is in a house that was built in 1927 and is only out of level 1/4" over 2' yes feet! After he argued with me and said "fuck this, this is bullshit" I told him to get the fuck out of the house when he refused he almost got his face busted before I threw him out. He left once we threatened to call the police. This company is a joke and if you need a real plumber call anyone but them. I wish I could give negative stars! read more

Able came back out to supervise that too with no charge to hand the project off themselves in person. We will be seeing them soon for a shower drain pipe repair.
