Both came with fries. My personal preference is for thicker fries and the fries here were definitely thin. If you prefer thin fries, you would be happy. My grilled chicken was definitely on the far blackened/grilled side- which is more charred than my preference. Another colleague who ordered a grilled chicken salad commented that the chicken was more blackened than he had anticipated. Another colleague ordered the chopped salad and appeared to be happy with his choice. If I ever return to this restaurant, I would definitely opt for a salad, as I had salad envy of the two that ordered salads. Our service here was very efficient without making a huge impression. Absolutely nothing wrong and nothing that stood out except that our orders were accurate and she checked in with us as appropriate. No complaints with service. I left without finishing my lunch entree' and chose not to take home leftovers, as I knew I wouldn't want to eat it. Again, just personal preference re the grilled chicken and fries. I felt that the value versus cost was on the high side. The sandwich was roughly $16.00 (including tax) with water as a beverage.While the company and ambiance were enjoyable, it felt like an expensive lunch as far as my sandwich. I realized however that I didn't realize the challenges that elderly/disabled people face when dining out. I had taken my mom to her cardiologist and he suggested that I take my mom out for a late lunch- which I enthusiastically embraced. Upon arriving at My Way Bistro, we were able to park in a handicapped parking spot with a slope to the sidewalk, which was helpful to my mom, who relies upon a walker for mobility. I never realized before that the tables and booths are very high for someone with limited ability to lift their arms. There were no other options that we saw and my mom did her best to settle into a booth that I found comfortable but the table was clearly too high for my mom. She was a great sport however and made do with the high tabled booth. My mom ordered a lamb gyro with fries and I ordered my usual Georgia Reuben with fries. My mom was very pleased with her gyro. It had lots of vegetables and meat, and she said the tszazicki (sp?) sauce was delicious. She also enjoyed the fries. I loved my Georgia Reuben because the cole slaw has a kick of black pepper and other ingredients that make it taste amazing. The homemade Thousand Island dressing was soooo delicious! I was a little disappointed in the fries because they were fried more than I prefer but were still good. Best of all, we both took home leftovers! Seriously, the plates couldn't adequately support the generous portions of food with heaping amounts of fries- and I say that as a good thing!
