    Pineapple Express Bowl

This place always has the game on or has some great live bands. We came for football and they had the Browns on the projector. The food is great and I tried one of their bowls and I was glad I did. I tried the Pineapple Express bowl and watch out. It can be a tad spicy! The food was great, service is always great, and the games were on every TV we will be back on game days.

Why everyone does not rate this 5 stars is beyond me. There should be a Bier Stube in every town across America! Great food, friendly staff. Love the Pha King house beer. Chicken wing Sunday can't be beat!

We stumbled on this spot and we're happy we did. Most of the breweries we wanted to hit did not open until later, so we were trying to kill some time. This was a great spot. Very large inside. It was pretty quiet in the middle of the day. But the seats at the bar were taken so we sat at a table. He didn't feel like a beer so he ordered a malibu mule. It was so delicious that I had one as my second drink. Then we decided to do a couple of shots. Probably wasn't the best idea looking back. But hey. Gotta live a little. We liked it here and would definitely recommend it!

Since there's no flying saucer in this beautiful state, this is as close as it gets for number of taps. 70+ drafts and at least 60 are craft. What I love I how often they change their taps out and they almost always have something I can't find anywhere else in town. They lose a star because they never seem to be staffed appropriately on busy nights. Check my pics from NYE. Total chaos. Bartenders just pick n choose who to serve first instead of 1 bartender take this side, another bartender take the other side etc.. Bartenders always been nice to me so no complaints. Never ate here and as my buddy Mike P says this is a BAR. I tend to shy away from food at these type spots. Karaoke several times a week, DJ on weekend. Everybody type crowd most days, college crowd late weekend nights. Full bar, very reasonable prices. Come get a beer. You may catch me there

The first thing to keep in mind is that the Bier Stube (?House of Eats) is not a hoity toity "gastropub." This place is a BAR. B-A-R, bar. Keeping that in mind, I'd say the food is pretty good. The food might not be "FIVE STARS good," but the Bier Stube gets a five star rating from me because..... THEY HAVE 75 BEERS ON TAP! I gave 'em 5 stars based on that fact alone! 75 beers!! Think of it this way: Here, you could get drunk (or at least catch a pretty decent buzz) every day for a week, all without drinking the same beer twice! Which beers might you find at the Stube? Well, the selection rotates, but in general, you'll find everything from likable crap (PBR, Bud light, etc), to local and semi-local microbrews (Catawba Island, MBBC and Great Lakes) to some higher end offerings (Framboise lambic). FOOD: I like it. It's not the best bar food I've ever eaten, but it is definitely worth a try. I've eaten several of the specialty burgers and wraps, and each has been pretty good. The fries were great, and so were the chicken chunks. I will say this: Making sense of the menu can be a little daunting. It's extensive, and many of the food items have names that are not at all indicative of what they actually are. Back to the CHICKEN CHUNKS: Toledo loves chicken chunks. I'm not sure why they seem to be so much more popular here than elsewhere, but they do seem to be. When ordering chicken chunks, I usually take note of the "Chicken to Breading Ratio." The higher, the better, IMO. At the Bier Stube, the C to B ratio is pretty high. They're not as good as Shawn's chunks or those from the Village Inn, but they're not as shitty as B-Dubs' "batter balls with a shred of chicken in the center." Also pretty exciting, is the fact that they offer 27 dipping sauces. Some of these are standard, and some are unique and outstanding. The crowd? I've been here many times, and I have not been able to characterize the crowd. Of course, I'm usually not there during peak hours. All in all, this is one of my favorite places for a beer and a quick snack.

Craft beers on tap, multiple TVs with sound during the Ohio vs. Michigan State game., plenty of seating and pool tables. Oh, and there's kareoke in the other room if I get drunk enough?! Definite fan. No waitresses seemed to be serving the tables but I had no problem getting a beer at the bar. Preferred it anyway to see the draft list which made me SO happy. Got to drink 2 IPAs that night. TWO! Summit Saga IPA and Harpoon IPA! For less than $5/pint? I was one happy girl that night. Got pretty busy, but a good-crowd busy. Not overly obnoxious, at least not in the back room where the pool tables are. Only stayed to watch the game but the kareokers sounded like they were having the time of their lives. I hear they have some pretty amazing food so I'll have to come back to try that.

Great local dive with some sweet features. Three pool tables, kareoke most nights, nice selection of draft beers and even a couple ciders to choose from. Plenty of TV action with their own house channel. Didn't try the food but very interesting menu with some good twists on the usual bar fryer grub. If you're looking for classy, go elsewhere, if you're looking for a friendly locals bar, this is a good one.

We were attracted by the 75 beers on Tap, we tried several and liked the Frambroise the best. Angela was extremely knowledgeable about the beer offerings and that was pretty cool. We went during the week rather early when its not so crowded by the young crowd as it can be weekends after 9. A mellow crowd 21-65. Went for the Beer only...ate elsewhere. Beer, Keno, Pool, anyone?

Taco Tuesday always a great choice; pairs well with a Pha-King beer! Always friendly and attentive bartenders as well.

I haven't had a truly great pizza in Ohio yet--there are more below-average spots than average ones--so I had high hopes for Stubborn Brothers. After finally trying it, I can say it's the best pizza I've had in Ohio so far. I still wouldn't call it "great," but it's a very solid pizza. The standout for me was definitely the crust--that part was great. However, I was disappointed with the sauce; it was pretty bland and didn't taste like it was made from high-quality tomatoes (such as San Marzano tomatoes). On half of the pizza I ordered pepperoni, and again, it didn't strike me as a high-quality pepperoni. In closing, I'm glad I tried Stubborn Brother and would rank it at the top of my Ohio pizza list so far, mainly because of the crust. Next up on my list is Charlie Anderson's place in downtown Cleveland, "Good Pizza" (2057 E 4th Street, Cleveland, OH). To date, the closest and best overall pizza I've found is still "Tomatoes Apizza" in the Detroit suburb of Farmington Hills (The original location: 29275 W 14 Mile Rd, Farmington Hills, MI).

There was an entrance at the front but it looked like the locals were going through the back door so we followed suit. When we got in there definitely smelled like deliciousness and client service was pleasant. We ordered the twice baked garlic rolls, as well as a customizable pizza where we added bacon, mushroom, and pepperoni. We ordered a Coke and a Toledo sunrise for drinks. The twice baked garlic rolls were left to be desired. The ends were crispy but the middle just felt soggy. I wish it was actually twice baked. However, the pizza came out with really nice flavour as well as nice bottom crust. Beverages were beverages. Overall sports bar vibes..

Many great visits during the soft opening of what I believed would be a Mexican restaurant, but I can't now recommend it as a place to have dinner and conversation. I was confused by the vast difference between the soft opening low-key ambiance vs the grand opening in-your-face "entertainment". Now that it's clear that blaring music and DJs are part of prime time dinner throughout the week, I don't plan to ever return. Such a shame, as I had originally had a great impression of the food and ambiance. If you enjoy a loud bar atmosphere with overpriced food, this is it.
