My server was very sweet and young, but clearly inexperienced. I ordered a drink before ordering my entree' but the drink came after my entree'. Her response was that the bartender was new and stressed out. Okay.., The food was just okay. I ordered a chicken sandwich with guacamole and bruschetta on top. I mentioned to my server that the chicken was very dry and difficult to cut. I also mentioned that the swiss cheese was barely detectable. She apologized but didn't offer management intervention. By the end, I didn't want to struggle any longer in trying to cut the overcooked and dry chicken. When I asked for the check, I pointed out nicely that my dissatisfaction with parts of the meal should have been brought to the manager's attention. Rather than raise a conflict over the bill, I paid it but don't ever plan to return. I overheard someone at a booth across from mine also expressing dissatisfaction with what he'd ordered, though not sure if he was complaining within his circle or whether he actually told the server- not that it would have mattered. It appears that this restaurant has some training issues for its young and inexperienced staff members.

As the department cardholder, I coordinated directly with the owner to place 34 individual lunch orders. He made the process incredibly easy by allowing me to send one organized list with each employee's name and their chosen meal. I'll admit, I felt a wave of anxiety taking on such a large, detailed order; I worried something might get mixed up and that I'd end up facing complaints. I'm happy to share that my worries were completely unfounded. The owner and his team went above and beyond to ensure every single order was prepared accurately and on time. Not only was everything perfect, but the staff absolutely loved their meals...there wasn't a single complaint. What impressed me even more was that the owner personally delivered all 34 orders himself. That level of dedication and customer service is truly rare, and it meant so much to all of us.
