If you like to see a game, this is the place. No shortage of televisions playing the games and if IU or KY is playing expect a decent crowd. There is plenty of space inside so do not be afraid of a packed parking lot. Food prices are certainly reasonable and the food was on point, delivered rather quickly and hot. After a tragic fire, Roosters, like the Phoenix, has risen from the ashes. Still consistently serving up great food. We started with an order of baked potato skins. They were served nice n hot, crispy, and without sour cream as we requested. My wife went with chicken fingers, because they can be served "naked", no breading. And they can be grilled, fried, or blackened. Tender, moist, perfectly seasoned, my wife loved them. As for me, well, I tried. But I just couldn't do it. I just had to go for the wings. And as always, Nashville Hot Rub called to me. I added a wedge salad, which was smothered in blu cheese dressing. I mean just soaking in it. I later found out our server had requested extra dressing. The place was very busy at 1400 hours, but our group of 4 were seated right away. Kacie (Trainer) and Courtney (Trainee) were very friendly and attentive servers. Being first to review, I asked Katie for all the info to enter in. She was happy to do so. Our group ordered Fried Pickles and Onion Feathers for appetizers. Wife had 2 grilled fingers. A week ago, my boys and I came to Roosters, ate our food, and had a good time. Everything was fine until the end. We paid our bill and tipped over 20% for a table of five. When we asked for to-go cups and boxes, our waitress Brittany told us they were 'out.' About 45 minutes later, another server, Shelby, came to our table and let us know Brittany had been complaining in the back that we 'didn't tip enough' and then clocked out while we were still waiting. Funny how Shelby somehow managed to find the cups and boxes Brittany said didn't exist. Shelby gets 5 stars for saving the situation. Brittany gets 0 for lying, complaining, and walking out on a table that tipped just fine. read more

Although we waited 10 minutes for a waiter and had to flag someone down to be attended to...the rest of our experience merits the 4 stars. The gentleman who was our server was not notified he had been assigned our area. (he already had several tables across the room) He was so genuinely apologetic I forgave it right away. He made up for the mishap by staying close and checking often. Our food was exceptionally good. The meat lovers pizza was loaded and piping hot out of the oven. Quite tasty! My boneless wings were more like small chicken fingers and since I ordered them extra wet I was provided extra sauce on the side. The blue Cheese dressing and celery was fresh and temperature correct. Tater tots were fried up crisp but not over done. My husband recently traveled to Louisville for work. While he was there, he checked out this restaurant for a late lunch one day. He had the fried chicken sandwich. He said the sandwich was very good and that the staff was great. The menu had a lot to offer, but he's a big fried chicken fan and so he automatically gravitated toward the sandwich. He said the staff was friendly and courteous, as well as very helpful. They answered all of his questions and made him feel very welcome. The restaurant was clean and ran smoothly. The wait staff seemed to know what they were doing, and were very efficient! Myself, I had the Red, Bacon + Blue 'The RBB' salad and the Nashville Hot Rubbed traditional wings. They claim the wings to be fresh not frozen chicken and the taste testified to that. Today i walked into order and one hostess could not figure out how to ring it up. A manager came over and took my order. She repeated it back to me and wgen i got home it was mostlu wrong. The ony thing they got right was my dumpster wedges and 25 traditional wings naked. My other 75 wings were supposed to be traditional - not boneless!! The flavors they put on them were correct. I also ordered my favorite bbq chicken pizza from there and got a buffalo chicken pizza. Should have looked before i left. Partly my fault for not checking but staff in the kirchen made it wrong and whoever packed it up did not check the ticket. I will go back but I'm just disappointed. I anxiously awaited Roosters reopening, waited til January and chose to go on a Thursday night. Loved the new layout. Though the parking lot was full, we didn't have to wait. Our waitress was pleasant, brought our drinks promptly. Our menus were sticky, kinda like someone's 5 year old played with them after eating. I ordered my beloved Roosters nest, my husband had only been once before, I used to be a regular. He wasn't a fan, I said well you've never had a roosters nest then, he gave it another chance. He ordered potato skins, which had no flavor, not even bacon which was all that was on the small, pale, pathetic tiny wedges. Sadly, they've destroyed the roosters nest, literally no chicken, supposedly a boneless wings?!?! lol a portion of a thin breast tenderloin, so small they curled up in the fryer..... tough, unseasoned, awful. No tomatoes. A shit ton of overpowering chopped onion and lots and lots of green onion, the stink of onion, was worse than the undercooked unseasoned curly fries, the cheese sauce isn't the same, it's a gelled processed nasty cheese product. Way to go, roosters, especially by not only degrading your products to the cheapest form. But, also increasing the price by 3 dollars! So, I'm good. I got by without Rooster for two years, I think I'll make my next roosters nest at home. I guarantee I can't Eff it up any worse. read more

I've been to this place a few times, and I can't get enough of their wings. They are juicy and meaty, so it's hard to stop eating them. The manager is friendly and helpful as well. I'm a huge fan of the wings at Buffalo Wild Wings, but this place does them better. The wings are more flavorful, with more spice than the average wing joint I've been to in the past! They're very friendly and welcoming when you walk in the door. Give them a try! Great food, excellent service, and great people who run this place! Surprisingly better than i anticipated by the bland decor and outside of the building. Our servers were super friendly. The interior leaves a little to be desired for me.. but its a sport bar type place, so it fits. plenty of tvs around and stuff on the wall. We got a pizza, kids cheeseburger, kids chicken tenders and a bbq bacon cheeseburger. The food was pretty darn good! It came out relatively quickly and was hot, ready to eat. The beer selection, while they have a decent number, was lacking a bit. The IPA i wanted was out and it could have used a bit more of a local flair, but they did have something for everyone. The kids meals were generous in size and filled the kids up... When the kids eat well, it makes our job as parents a bit easier. We split a large Red Rooster salad, the dressing is similar to a western dressing. My son had boneless wings with a mixture of teriyaki, Korean bbq and sweet Thai chili. They were really good.
