Do NOT use this post office; their employees STOLE 19 books from my package!! The books that were…read moreleft were DAMAGED and RIPPED UP (see pictures below). I used media mail to mail 50 of my personal books to my new address. The tracking number the post office gave me stopped tracking my box of books at the 2nd stop. USPS (federal employees) opened my book box, STOLE 19 books out of it (Star Wars and Marvel graphic novels, Star Wars novels, a book about Jesus, several historical books, and 4 books about spirituality). The books the crooks didn't care to steal were carelessly stuffed back in the box and they even ripped The Alchemist's cover completely off. I am extremely disappointed with USPS; our tax dollars pay these criminals' salaries. NEVER USING USPS EVER AGAIN! One of the absolute worst post offices ever. With little fault of the receptionist, if you are in a…read morerush do NOT come here. Everyone that comes to this location has the most complex requests and are the most incompetent of humans. There is always a line which never moves. They simply need more than ONE employee. Not to mention since they only have one employee that runs this location, they are closed for an hour (sometimes longer) in the middle of the day for their lunch break.

So it could be a nice place to have lunch if you are around. The post office itself is nicely sized, overall clean and supplies are always stocked as far as my experience in coming here goes. The problem: the rudest people work here. I have never been to a post office with employees that are so grouchy. Not just on one occasion, but I've been here about 5 or 6 times and it is the same thing every time! I came here yesterday about 20 minutes before closing time, there was one woman working. There were two ladies in front of me, and she was just ignoring them finishing whatever it was she was working on. When she finally acknowledged them, she said it would be a minute. One minute turned into five and when she was ready to work again she says " I need to go close the door so no one else comes in" (there was still 10 minutes left before closing, she could have waited a few minutes to do it). Anyway my purpose of coming was to drop off an already packaged/postage paid item (I did it online) and while I could throw it into the paid bin, I like to get it scanned in by the post office and get a receipt. I hand it to her, she looks at it and says "You're all set". I asked her if she could please scan it in and give me a receipt. She let out the biggest sigh ever heard by man. To add insult to injury , to call the Beachwood post office there is the 800 number - USPS National Customer Service. What a joke that was. 10-15 minute wait for a live person. They have outside mailboxes for after hours and inside it's just like any other post office... including the typical unhappy and grumpy workers. I really can't figure it out. If their job is so bad why don't they quit and get a job that makes them happy? I mean they are lucky enough to have a job with normal hours, great job security and benefits so why so grumpy? I've never felt compelled to write a review about a post office before today but I couldn't not…read morewrite a five-star review after such a great experience with staff member Sondra! When I arrived at the post office there was only one person in line in front of me but she had many tasks to do. Sondra was very patient and a clear communicator with the customer. Although I was the person waiting, I even felt taken care of. When the woman in front of me ordered stamps, Sondra took out multiple pages of stamps to show the woman to select an image. Nothing was rushed, but everything felt calm and as though she was aware of the fact that they were now multiple people waiting in line. Everything was smooth and efficient! Once it was my turn, again, transactions were quick and I felt taken care of. Giant kudos to this location, I'll definitely be coming here again whenever I need to shop packages!
