Two lost packages. The first was a piece of furniture. I'm not sure something so large could really just go missing, do I smell a thief? Second package might have had "Nintendo" marked on the outside, yeah that one never came to my mailbox either. Both packages were marked as delivered but the Maury show's lie detector determined THAT WAS A LIE. I called the post office about my lost Nintendo game. It was sent my ups to this location for local delivery. I live maybe two blocks from this office. I listened to their machine go through some things which advised me to hang up and call a 216 number. I call the number and "Mike" answers. Mike doesn't even introduce himself as a usps employee or anything. Not sure what his role is in helping me and unfortunately Mike has a telecom conference to attend and doesn't have time to explain where my package went. I'll update this if I ever speak with Mike again. If you can avoid this post office, please do. Completely unprofessional and disorganized mess. Or is it an organized crime ring money making scheme on stolen property? The world may never know. read more

First time here today, never again. Spent less than 30 seconds and literally encountered the rudest worker (red head) I've ever met. No reason for her to be acting the way she did when I simply wanted to drop off two packages and have them scanned into the system. I cannot speak more highly of the folks at this post office. They saved my behind today. Dana* of the 7am shift who after hearing my dire need to search for a package helped me look for it even before they were open to the public and Anisa* who helped me secure it midday. My family always has committed to the USPS over any other shipping agency and even with staffing shortages and a pandemic y'all came through. I hope the brownies were enjoyed by all. lost my mail 3 times in one week i have sent court documents with tracking and signatures 3 times last week and everyone of these have been lost. how can someone trust in the us mail when i paid near $30 to send these i will be driving these personally to the recipient since the mail service can't seem to do this on their own. Horrible customer service from Donna. After assisting a customer before me, when i was next in line, i told her that i would be filling out the survey they ask you to fill out. When i said that, her response was, "I'm not scared of you." Repeatedly and over and over again. That is an inappropriate answer and made me feel very uncomfortable. Its a shame that some people play the victim, when they are clearly in the wrong. Donna-- get some retraining in customer service and accept your faults as an employee and move forward. read more

Although this is not my regular post office I come here occasionally because they are open until 8pm!! The extend hours are a real plus. Before I discovered this place I never heard of a post office open until after 5pm. Every occasion I have been here the line moves fast and service is prompt. read more

GREAT NEWS I learned how to create a file, upload and send an E-mail due to my certified mail not being delivered and hearing from a "supervisor" that I have to wait 30 days before they will locate my certified mail and that it was scheduled to be delivered 9 days ago. The mail had my husband death certificate in it, and they could care less, it was a VERY important document. I started tracking it and noticed it was not moving and was stuck in the Cleveland Distribution Center. I understand why the postal service WILL FALL and we know who to blame. I will no longer continue to send mail through the mail or do it as little as possible. I used to think sending mail through the USPS was good for people to keep their jobs and now I know the people working at this location don't care. Let them reap what they sow. read more

I couldn't be happier with my experience here. Now I did not come here to send mail... but yes, its a post office, I get it. I came here to fill out my passport paperwork and have that turned in. The lady that helped me, Acy, went above and beyond to make sure I would get all my papers in order and had everything right in my application. As I was in the process numerous people came and went and at one point when the line was getting too long they had someone else come on out and help. Everyone was friendly and cordial to the point where I am confused by the negative reviews here. Either that or they have unrealistic expectations of service from the post office, either way, I am pleased with everone that helped me here. The location itself is off the beaten path but close enough from the playhouse square area, with ample parking. This is great given that if this was in the heart of the city parking would have been a nightmare and this prevents that situation. The place itself is clean and neat and while this is not the kind of place I would need to go to often i would be more than happy to given my experience here. read more

Terrible, horrible service. I have no confidence in their ability to do their jobs. I was told by the agent at the front counter to drop my 3 packages off into the bins and that's where it ends. A day later, I look at tracking and all that shows is that the label was created. The packages were not scanned and are unaccounted for once I dropped them in the bin, as I was instructed to do. Get rid of the bins, DO YOUR JOB and scan things! Anyone could take stuff from the bins, for one thing. Every agent that I spoke to, including Manager Andrea, could not give me any concrete information regarding my packages. It was just a bunch of "it might not have been processed" or "it might have been processed but not scanned". When I stated to Andrea that if I didn't scan things that I'm supposed to at my job, I'd get fired, she went on to say they have unions and I cut her off because we were getting off track, but that goes to show how far gone the system is. What they should have done, as a manager, get up off your collective, lazy butts and LOOK to see if the packages are there. read more

Boy, I must be hitting a dry spell in my reviews to write this. But no, really, this post office is pretty good. It is sorta off the beaten path in no-man's land, but I like that, because who wants to navigate through city traffic to find a post office? They do have a separate "store" for stamps, packing supplies, etc., but the one problem is that there is never anyone behind that counter. So, I have to wait in the regular line to buy any supplies. If I'm feeling efficient that day (and if what I have to mail is relatively simple), I'll wait in line as I put stuff in/address it. But today, for example, I had to get a flat-rate box and stuff it with lots of packing crap and tape it up, so I needed to do that on the side before I waited in line. (Found out later that they do supply tape so I didn't actually have to spend $3.29 on that. D'oh.) Everyone is pretty mellow. It's not a bad experience even when the line is a bit long. I mean, it's the post office, right? The one thing I care about is that they help me send my important packages/documents. They do have an automated machine in the front area where you can buy Forever stamps with a credit or debit card. Convenient! Also, you can weigh and mail a bunch of stuff there too, as long as it's not a big package. FYI: Pickup for packages is on the other side of the enormous complex, on Broadway, not Orange. (I've had to go a couple of times when I was left that lovely note at the door saying they "missed me.") read more

Cleveland loses my packages about every third package, and usually for absolutely no reason. I'll get packages one day and then my next delivery gets mysteriously returned to sender because "addressee unknown". Completely disorganized and whenever I try to call I get put on hold or told I'll be called back and forgotten about. it works essentially the same the other way, my Christmas cards this year either took two months to arrive or didn't at all. It's really annoying as an artist when I'm having essential supplies shipped in or one of a kind pieces of art shipped out. It hurts my business immensely. read more

It's a little bit out of the way, but this post office is really large and surprisingly efficient. I think it's the central post office for the entire Cleveland region, so you're probably better off dropping urgent mail here than anywhere else. They have a dedicated stamp store, and they actually staff it! When I worked at a local nonprofit, I took the "class" here on nonprofit mailing discounts. The class was very confusing, but the person teaching it was nice. read more

LOST 3 PACKAGES!! HORRIBLE DISRESPECTFUL CUSTOMER SERVICE! TOTALLY NEGLIGENT!!! They lost 2 packages being delivered to me and 1 package that I shipped via ebay and dropped off at this post office..all over a 3 month period. Also, 1 package that was transferred from UPS to be delivered to me by my USPS mail carrier was rifled thru with items missing and damaged and returned to ups with no attempt to deliver it to me! They do nothing about it! You get stonewalled of you try to speak to supervisors and the claims department is a total dead end! Via my own leg work i found out (from the supervisor) that one of the packages that was lost by my carrier actually was scanned from her scanner and marked as delivered. When i spoke directly to the carrier she did not recall delivering a package at all on the date in question! Another package that I shipped which also went missing was never scanned at the post office after i placed it in the large bin in the lobby.. I made sure it was packaged correctly in the correct shipping box with the shipping label securely taped to it. It was "lost" as a result of their total negligence! The supervisor said that if i want to make sure my package (for which I paid for Priority Mail tracking) actually gets scanned and tracked, not to put it in the bin.. But wait in line and give it to a clerk.. Why is the bin there then? Is it the free "sh!t for postal workers to "lose" bin? This post office needs an internal investigation! Update.. Another package missing!! It says delivered in/at mailbox at an unusual time of day long after my courier usually delivers like clock work! I think it was stolen by an employee of USPS!!!! Living in Tremont is like the black hole for internet reception, mail and grocery stores. This is the home base for all the carriers that deliver my route. My guy is awesome but when hes off they put in a sub and they BLOW. Cannot put mail in proper boxes, leave my packages in the rain..etc. My Hummels and Saved by Bell stuff I got off Ebay got ruined! If ya have to go to the branch to pick up a package plan on waiting forever. The people that work the counter are nice but slow as an earthworm crawlin down Gary Buseys buttcrack! read more

Hands down the best post office in greater Cleveland area. It's located on Orange Ave, slight detour from downtown, unless you are going to take I-77S. This is most efficient office, there's usually 3 clerks who are working at a normal pace (Yes - that's all I expect at a post office). read more

This Review is for USPS in General. A package I ordered from China was processed in China on the 18th. On the 22nd it was at Chicago ISC. On the 24 it went to Chicago Post. On the 25th it went to Cleveland Ohio, which was ridiculous seeing as how the package is Suppose to be delivered in KC, MO. It traveled 1/2 way to the coast in the wrong direction. Now the best part. On the 25th Evening it showed departed Cleveland Ohio and in route to destination. 24 hours later on the 26th Morning it again showed departing Cleveland Ohio and in route to destination. Today the 27th afternoon no update and my package is just out there floating around. I feel it is a very, very poor group of people and company that takes two to three times longer to process and deliver a package that China. 3 days to leave China and now more than 6 days in the US and still not even close to a delivery. They haven't even posted a expected delivery date. The US should never be allowed to run any business. They simply are not Qualified. read more

ABSOLUTELY terrible service. My packages and mail continuously goes missing. I just sent a laptop back to walmart on 9/14/18 and the tracking number is showing unknown/invalid. This is not the first time but definately the last time i use their service to send/recieve packages!!! read more

Post office 44144. Made a complaint today regarding certified letter returned VACANT, when in fact property is occupied. Being a certified letter, the mail carrier should see it is not vacant and being refused/ignored. There is a car in the drive, curtains up. So now next letter being sent certified again. The regular mail was received. The man I spoke to was very nice and said they will tell the letter carrier. I really hope they look into this, ever so important. To be continued.... read more

I originally decided not to write a review, as why bother when it comes to the U.S. Postal Service, right? But, I know how people read yelp,. and just maybe, someone higher up in the ranks might hear about my review and decide they need to do more to change their image. Basically, I purchased a $6.95 priority mail for a birthday card I was mailing to a friend in Cleveland from Las Vegas on April 30, 2014. It said it was a two to three day delivery, and since his birthday was three days away, I decided to spend the money versus taking a chance with a first class stamp. When I called my friend on his birthday, May 2, and asked if he got his card he told me no. I figured it would arrive the following day, May 3. I talked to him on Sunday, May 4. he said he still did not get it. It finally arrived on Monday, May 5. Needless to say, I was pissed and contacted the post office to file a complaint. I was told there was no guarantee on priority mail 2 day delivery, but pointed out it took five days. the same amount of time it would have taken if I had purchased a cheap first class stamp and wanted a refund of my $6.95, minus the fee for a first class stamp. The person I talked to said the card arrived in Cleveland 44101 on Friday, May 2. It must have just sat there until they decided to deliver it on the following Monday. I did receive a follow up call from the Postal Service Consumer Affairs Office and she apologized, but said there was nothing they could do as far as refunding my money. Now, here's my point. Isn't the U.S, Post Office advertising how they are changing their image and creating a entirely new standard of service to the public? When you charge someone $6.95 for priority mail that is supposed to be delivered in 2 days, deliver it five days later and say there's nothing they can do, I would say nothing much has changed. I can only hope that the other carriers such as UPS or FedEx develop a competing mail delivery service so that people like me can use them instead of being held hostage by the government. read more
