It is a popular spot and one of only a few downtown locations which means that lines can be long. Also, this Post Office lacks the self service kiosk found in many locations -- so anything from buying a stamp to a more complicated transaction will require waiting in line. One funky thing about this post office is the hours. Posted hours are Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM, except for Wednesday. For some reason Wednesday gets an early closing time of 12:00 PM (yet it was open today around 2:00 PM...) I have never received particularly bad or wonderful service here, but love that it is available for those times I need to scramble for an actual staffed Post Office in downtown.

I've worked and dealt with most of the people that work here and while not the fastest and maybe they choose to take lunch during the busiest time of day leaving one postal worker....they are always friendly. Last Christmas I mailed something to NYC w specific instructions and paid extra. Package never got there. Was lost for good. While I used an Amex card to purchase this gift.....usps wasn't exactly the easiest to deal with when it came to my claim. I specifically asked and paid signature required upon delivery and whoever delivered it just left it on a doorstop outside in Manhattan. Thank goodness I kept my receipt showing I paid for signatures or I would've had to eat the cost. USPS said it was never entered as signature required so I can only think whoever checked my outgoing package charged me but never entered it in as such. Anyway, nice people...not so nice location. Place is actually the size of an outhouse.

I was NOT impressed…read more Visiting here made me feel depressed, like I was in a slowly deteriorating city with political leaders who lacked the motivation to keep this historic city beautiful, like the real gem that it is. However, I have also had several opportunities to visit this city over these last thirty years and I have seen great improvements since that time. One of the small efforts to beautify this city came with the decision to add several "Cleveland" script signs at various locations around the city, like here in the Tremont neighborhood of Cleveland. I have visited a few of the Cleveland script signs, and this one here in Tremont is my favorite so far. It is located in a beautiful little neighborhood, within an area that almost feels like a small park. Even though it's in a beautiful little neighborhood, it is close enough to the heart of the city to provide visitors with a breathtaking view of the Cleveland skyline, along with several beautifully constructed historic bridges within view. To add to how pleasant this location is, there are also railroad tracks nearby, where one can occasionally see a powerful train pass by. Still further, there is also a nicely constructed walkway through this area where folks can take a nice stroll while enjoying the view. The Cleveland script sign here in Tremont is easy to get to, located just south of the Cuyahoga River, with nearby exits from both directions of the Interstate 90 freeway. There is also a nice, clean and safe place to park within walking distance that is open daily, from 6am until 11pm. This parking area has several parking spots, most of which are under the I-90 overpass, and parking is free. If you happen to be visiting the Cleveland area, I would highly recommend that you stop by this location for a quick visit. It's a great place to take in a breathtaking view of this beautiful city, and of course, to snap that selfie of your visit to Cleveland.

They were all very friendly. If you are going for reading material the CPL collection seemed enormous.

I have visited this…read morelibrary multiple times, always enjoy being surrounded by so much history (building circa 1925), ornate architecture, and literary talent. I highly recommend a visit whether you're Cleveland resident or a tourist. COLLECTION: The building contains three floors accessible by the grand staircase or elevator. The first floor contains Brett Memorial Hall, special exhibits, popular literature, and checkout counter. You will bring all your book and miscellaneous finds for checkout on the first floor. The second floor contains literature and Ohio Center for the Book. The third floor houses special collections, fine arts, and Cleveland Digital Public Library. The fourth floor has international language collection, youth services, and art lab. INTERNATIONAL COLLECTION: My favorite collection is the international language collection. It's the most impressive international language collection among all international collections at local libraries. This floor features art gallery, Chinese corner, DVDs from around the world, English as Second Language collection, international magazines, language-learning materials, and Native American language materials. If you're learning a new language or miss your own native language, the library is an excellent resource. The collection is continuously growing and has a lot of modern popular finds. For instance, I was able to find shelves upon shelves of Russian books and movies. Some were even relevant to the season - New Year Eve thrillers, Christmas cook books, and more. I get very excited looking for books in my native language here. EXHIBITS: The library has multiple current exhibits. Few prominent exhibits are currently available throughout the museum - Relay Cleveland, The Superman Homecoming, and A Century in Sugar: Gingerbread Tribute. Relay Cleveland features African American History and Culture. The Superman Homecoming ties together the city's history and Superman. A Century in Sugar features Sarah Wagner's sweet replica of the library built using gingerbread. It's impressive and ornate. The latter will be on exhibit through December 31, 2025. All of these exhibits really adds to the experience and position the library as the community hub. Exhibits are free and readily accessible. SERVICE: All librarians at the library are very pleasant. They offer assistance and warmly help. They are very pleasant to interact with. At checkout you can even get a bag for your checked out items. GARDEN: The library has a spacious outdoor reading garden. Some local literary groups even host events at this location. It's perfect for summertime reading in the heart of the city. PARKING: No parking is available onsite. However, you'll find plenty of nearby lots and some street parking. EVENTS: The library has a seasonally busy event calendar. I was lucky to attend a few musical events in this space and was very impressed. The acoustics are excellent. BOOKSTORE: The library has a small cart inside on the first floor with limited books and DVD's on sale. If you are in a shopping mood, cross the street and visit the affiliated bookstore. Please not that it has different hours than the library. I highly recommend a visit to the library especially if you're looking for international literature. I can't wait to read my books in my native language. I checked out some New Year Eve thrillers and hope that they'll elevate my festive spirit. Visit this place for gorgeous architecture, impressive exhibits, literary gems, and so much history.
