Nothing to do with the band The Script. Thankfully. What a lovely sign, with a sensational view of Cleveland behind it. It's a must stop for all tourists and even returning tourists such as ourselves, who come here every time. Located in Edgewater Park. Not to be confused with The Edge Water, which is a brand of bottled "agua" that is owned and promoted by U2's lead guitarist. This is a spectacular park with the timeless skyline of the city of Cleveland as the beautiful backdrop. It includes beaches and hills and wooded areas and it's one of the most amazing places in the entire state of Ohio in my opinion. I love the skyline of Cleveland in the background of course, it's the highlight of the park, along with the lettering they put up not too long ago to say Cleveland, and although it gets a little creepy here at night and very cold here in winter, it's still probably my favourite destination in town. Edging can be fun, but it's difficult depending on who you're with (hardest of all with Barbi), or which material you're viewing (Khloe Kay and Marissa Minx and Natalie Mars and Chanel Santini and Aletta Ocean for example). If it goes wrong, you'll get a bunch of premature "Edgewater." As for food: NE Ohio is a whole world unto itself, it's a region, a destination, a little country that has little in common with the rest of Ohio. It's not nearly as Midwestern as other parts. My favourite thing is that the food here is phenomenal. While Pitt is a more gorgeous city (than almost any other), and has some food gems, Cleveland has more "must try" spots than Pitt, Columbus, Cinci, Detroit and Toledo put together. Bold claim, I know, but there are just so many things in Cleveland that you need to, need to, need to eat. And yes I'm going to tell you what they are. And if you prefer a more spicy kind of city, then I suggest going to Cloveland instead. They have some amazing options - very few of them healthy - but all of them delicious, and some among the very best in the country. The 9 Must-Trys: Angelo's - the loaded baked potato pizza, deep dish, is one of the best 5 pizzas in usa Best Gyros - best Gyro in town, both locations, one of USA's best Biagios - get crulers, but only when you get there at 4am so they're fresh, hot and gooey Corky and Lennys - the sammy kay sandwich is incredible, so is the goulash Hartville Kitchen - Amish, way south, try Roast Beef, Dessert Pies, Chocolate Shakes Pupuseria La Bendicion - maybe best pupusas & tamales in the usa, you must try it Raddells - excellent hot hungarian sausage on bread at lunch time Setis - best Polish Boy in town, which is a cleveland classic, try it (Al & B's is good too) Swensons - get the Galley Boy. Local chain, maybe the best fast food burger in USA 5 more must-try local icons: Belgrade Gardens - down in Barberton, try fried chicken, or the dumplings in sauce Crepes de Luxe - excellent lemon & sugar crepes inside west side market Czuchraj Meats - the best Jerky you'll ever have, also inside WSM Frank's Bratwurst - also inside WSM, excellent brats Sokolowski's - maybe best pierogies ever, anywhere The Best Of The Rest: Barroco - the ropa vieja arepa is one of the best things i have ever eaten Bialy's Bagels - maybe my fave everything bagel outside NYC East Coast Custard - excellent vanilla custard, several locations Edgewater Park - beautiful place to walk and see the skyline and lake Frank's Falafel House - good gyros & babaghanoush Handel's - Youngstown ice cream chain - Chocolate Malt w/Caramel shake or i.c., lemonade Honey Hut - best honey pecan ice cream Hot dog diner - crazy hot dogs, burgers & a cool a.f. owner Hot Sauce Williams - amazing fried chicken, get the sauce on the side Jack Frost Donuts - crazy donuts that will blow your mind Kung Fu Tea - best boba in town, also in Kent, have good Sushi Burritos too La Plaza Supermarket - best real Mexican tacos in Cleveland from the stand inside Melt - crazy wild grilled cheese type wiches Tommys - excellent shakes, try the banana While it is way too cold up here on the Lakeshore for me to ever seriously contemplate living here, I have met some wonderful lifelong friends and some very beautiful and very fun and sexy girls here. So lots of good times and Cleveland, and it still remains one of the top US food destinations for me. And if you really really love the "C", then go instead to C-Love-land.

Coop picture opportunity that I'm sure is a hot spot for tourist as Myself. In a nice area of tremont area that has cool shops and places to eat. One of those things it is what it is. If you are into photo ops then checks it out. If not then don't. There isn't a parking lot diagonal from sign. And below it is a walking trail.

Hey Cleveland. What's your sign? It's this. Located off a bridge in a sketchy area is this photo opportunity. There's a good view of the bridges and skyline. It doesn't look like much when you get close to it. It's just some kind of plastic or something like it. The sign is in a script. It makes it look a little fancy almost. There's room between the sign and the edge of the fence so you can get pictures of it with yourself. It's located by the pedestrian bridge on Abbey. Located on the other side of the river overlooking the skyline. There's free parking in the Tremont neighborhood a few blocks from this.

Wohoo! The view is as good as it gets! I visited in September 2018 when I ran with a running group. The running group stopped by the Cleveland Script Sign to take some photos. The view here is awesome because it overlooks downtown Cleveland. From this view, you'll see Terminal Tower and Key Tower. It is located on Abbey Ave. and W. 14th street. There are 6 script signs all together. Besides this one in Tremont, the city of Cleveland has several other script signs and those are located at: Edgewater Park, Cleveland Hopkins International Airport, Euclid Beach, The Foundry (located at the Flats West Bank), and North Coast Harbor. The locations of all the signs are wonderful but my favourite by far is the North Coast Harbor one because of the backdrop of downtown, the harbour (with boats), and the lake. The architecture of some of the buildings at this location is unique and amazing. I recommend visiting this sign if you are in the Tremont neighbourhood of Cleveland or if you just want to be a tourist for the day. Grab your cell phone or camera and take some fun photos. **** - 3/200 total reviews in 2020 - 379 total overall Yelp reviews - Reviewed on 14 January 2020

Drove everywhere trying to find this sign, then it dawned on us to just ask Siri lol, finally found it and man was this a popular sign. Had a guy tell us he drove all the way from NC just to take that pic lol.... I'm sure he was there for other reasons but felt the need to share that news, trying to imply he was taking his photo before us which we had no intentions of rushing so we kindly let the rude fella go ahead of us. Anyhow enjoyed the scenery and the park, boats around people running and to our surprise it has a beach as well. Thought that was so cool! #Defendtheland

I don't know how many cities actually do this, but this was a first time that I've ever seen such thing. I thought this was an excellent idea, especially with Cleveland having the location(s) to do it! I strolled down Abbey and found this spot. It provides an excellent view of the city of Cleveland's skyline, as well as parts of their industrial area and iconic bridges. Be sure to fire up your phone and camera a few times! I didn't realize there was more than one location where they do have other script signs along Cleveland. This spot seemed perfect in all ways. If only I could talk to the St. Louis (home city) government about doing this, but surely they won't listen.

    I Cleveland!!

It was on my Cleveland must see list but dint expect it to be on my way to Sokolowski's Inn but glad it did. Good Place to get some cool Shots with cleveland skyline in back . 10 min walk from West Side Market 5 min walk from famous Polish restaurant. Walk way to go below the bridge.

Coolest thing inside is the lobby. The fountains in the shopping center inside make it worth going in. Even though the lame shopping center inside sucks, it still is fun to look around. It has a very nice lobby. There's a lot of large pools with fountains in them. It adds some class. Of course you should look around the rest of the tower. It was built in the 1920s and has some great architecture. The ceilings once you get in the front doors are magnificent. An observation deck is on one of the top floors. The views here are hit or miss because of the cloudy weather. Looking at the tower from the outside is pretty cool. This is a very large building and it's impossible to miss. Often it's lit up in bright colors. The architecture of the building is gothic and there's all kinds of cool arches and carvings on it outside. It also is a terminal of course. RTA has a stop inside. This makes getting to downtown convenient with not having to find parking.

I was able to visit in a recent trip to the city and would recommend it to those going for a visit as well. Located in the House of Blues, you'll have to enter through the 4th strewn door and head straight to the back. Most "speakeasies" I have visited in the US are pretty obvious (like someone sitting in a chair, directing you to a set of stairs behind them to enter the "speakeasy"), but with the entrance to this one tucked away behind a place with live music and food, it had more of an authentic feel. The friend with me that night even questioned if we were in the right place as I strolled to the back of the restaurant and walked up to the girl seated at a podium. "Excuse me, but is this the way to the foundation room?" I asked her. She affirmed, and we were soon on our way up an elevator. When we got to the second floor, we were promptly greeted by a host, Julius, who showed us around. The decor is sumptuous, a blend of Moroccan, Indian, and Jacobean flair. After checking out a room with relics from an Indian temple and looking at the rooftop (with an Instagram-worthy floral wall), we decided to grab a cozy spot near the bar and ordered a drink. As we sipped on our Old Fashioneds, Julius came by to check on us, and we watched the place fill up with an array of people in a festive mood. It was a lovely way to end a night in Cleveland, and a place I highly recommend that you check out when you're in the area!

It is a 4,490 foot long truss bridge crossing over the Cuyahoga River, in the heart of Cleveland, beautifully decorated in art-deco style.
