I could not wait to visit the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame on a recent trip I was on. It did not…read moredisappoint. Located down by the lake (Erie) waterfront, the design of the museum and the exhibits within made it well worth the visit. Just a caveat, I attended an event here, so reviewing from that perspective. It is organized on six floors, with the main exhibit being on the third floor (I think). The exhibit shows musician wardrobes, instruments. lyrics, and lots of description of music history. I really liked some parts of how it is organized - there were regional focuses - rock history on the east coast, west coast, midwest, etc. There was an exhibit on the year1984, as well as women in rock and other specific topics. On a higher floor, there was an area for a jam session, as well as an area to play instruments. And we were able to end our event with a live band singing (what else?) 80s and 90s hits. You could easily spend 2-3 hours here, although if you focus on the main exhibit floor, you could probably do it in about an hour. Would visit again next time I am here.

It will take about 2 and 1/2 hours. Have to purchase the ticket before arrival. As long as you have a ticket for the day, you can get in at any hour. I enjoyed the video playback in the theater like rooms. Soul Trains and SNL were all good. See a lot of costumes, most of them meant nothing to me. Enjoy the monsters on the third floor. Not that big of a place. Not much to do in Cleveland, but Rock N Roll Hall of Fame is very good. Ray out.

I had no idea this house was in Cleveland! This block is a must-visit for movie fans in general,…read moreand definitely ones of A Christmas Story. Their family home is the main draw, and it looks exactly as it did in the film complete with the major award in the window. I was told people lived here and eventually gave up due to privacy, now it's available to rent to stay for short times! Next door is the bully's house as well, with a museum and welcome center across the street. Street parking is plentiful, they have a small dedicated lot at the store. There are lots of great restaurants and pubs nearby too.

We came to Lorraine Ohio for a girls dance competition, and had an afternoon off. This museum is like no other I've ever visited. We started at the gift shop what an amazing display of artifacts, memorabilia, and Christmas decor, much of it styled out of the 1940s era. While there we had a pleasure of meeting the young lady who played the part of Santa's elf at Higby's department store. She had returned for a reunion weekend with a cast from the movie. The neighborhood looks very much the same the scenes in the movie. The house itself is beautifully restored inside and out. Unlike other museums, this one is extremely interactive. I crawled underneath the kitchen sink and had my kids take photos of me. My granddaughter put Randy's bib around her neck and gobbled away at a dinner plate. Upstairs we rattled around through the bedrooms, the bathroom (the decoder ring was sitting on the sink). I highly recommend this museum!

FREE MUSEUM warrants a 5/5 stars. No complaints…read more The Transformer Station is a small and free museum that is managed by the Cleveland Museum of Art as a satellite campus. The selection of art work and pieces are sparse but it is a small museum. I visited on a Sunday afternoon in September 2021 with 2 friends. We all enjoyed our time browsing the museum. The staff member that we encountered was helpful. There is an upstairs and a downstairs section. Exhibits are forever changing as in a typical museum so I hope to visit again. Hours are limited and so is parking. There is a small paid parking lot right in front of the museum. **** GOAL of 250 reviews in 2026 - 153/250 total reviews in 2026 - 994 total Yelp reviews - Reviewed on 9 July 2026

Interesting lighting highlights the art and adds ambience for concerts. The acoustics were a little lackluster but not so much that it ruined the concert. The group was an acoustic jazz ensemble. Very intimate and personal setting for a concert. Small bar set up in the next room/gallery had wine, beer and spirits. Acrylic chairs and a few high top tables in back with better chairs. Small parking lot out front. Scan and Pay. Street parking and a nearby garage. Several local bars for after party.
