This is such a wonderful, whimsical and imaginative space. CoCo has done a great job of making great use of all of the space. It's well lit, well designed and great for self guided fun. I highly recommend it to anyone visiting the Cleveland area. If you're interested in shopping there's a wonderful gift shop. Whether you wanted to be a Baller or a Safari guide there is something there for you. From disco to sky diving something will make you jump or shake a tail feather. My friend and I are not from the area and were exploring the Arcades when we happened upon this location. The store/building itself is cool, and we stepped in purely to look at the store and see if there was a retail shop to browse. Unfortunately, the experience turned uncomfortable very quickly. As soon as we walked in, the staff heavily pushed a "free tour" on us. Even after we thought indicated we weren't really interested, they made us feel awkward for saying no that we eventually agreed, thinking it was just a quick walk-through of a themed store which we could then look at after by ourselves. It was a 5-minute guided walk through a basement filled with DIY "selfie stations" and photo props. While this is a cool concept if you are looking for content creation, it wasn't our thing, and we were just trying to be polite. After the tour, we were led to the front and asked to leave a donation. When we explained that we didn't have any cash on us, the atmosphere shifted immediately. It didn't really feel like it was optional to pay, and we were supposed to because they gave us a tour which we didn't even want. The owner Coco, was not kind, rolled her eyes, and made judgmental comments as we left. We felt very uncomfortable and left feeling like we had frustrated the staff for not understanding the business or expectations before entering. I think if you like DIY selfie stations you would like this and could spend a lot of time here. However we experienced high pressure and unprofessional treatment all because we didn't have cash for a "optional" donation. If you aren't planning on paying for a photo session or carrying cash for a tip, I'd recommend skipping this one to avoid the awkward encounter. I wasn't sure what to expect from Coco's Selfie Space, but my daughter wanted to visit and how could I be a good dad without taking her?! Even I had fun as we navigated the huge space with many different selfie stations. Coco greeted us when we arrived, and she first gave us a tour of the facility then set us on our way to take our selfies. We spent about 45 minutes in the facility and left with hundreds of cool photos. The admission fee is a bit high, but with the philanthropy work Coco does, I looked at it as a donation to help Coco's mission of giving back to the community. Coco's Selfie Space is the most imaginative spot in Cleveland! When Coco gave my coworker and I a tour of her space (that is as large as an ENTIRE city block) underground, we did not know what a wonderful surprise we were in for. There are dozens and DOZENS of picturesque scenes that continually make you feel like you are not in Cleveland, OH! Some of my favorites were the underwater mermaid grotto, city cafe in Paris, Big Apple subway turn-style graffiti space, the butterfly cove, and more. You'll just have to visit yourself to see the full set! You won't be disappointed by taking the time to visit Coco's in the Cleveland Arcade. Truly a gem of Cleveland and something unique to discover! There is definitely something for everyone. read more

You have to see it to believe it! There are so many selections/options for photography here and each one is adorable! We took the tour this past weekend and we're blown away. Wedding photos (especially in a Cleveland winter!), girls night, kids photo shoot (check out the fairy room and mermaid room as well!) It's impossible to NOT have a fantastic time. This is located in the 5th street arcade downtown. She has about 20,000 sq feet of space and there is something for everyone. Coco plants- there is a small shop in the front that sells plants in cute pots and various other items. Coco's Chalky Paints- CoCo has a very interesting story which I would encourage you to have a tour of her space and get the story straight from her. At any rate she sells a product that she formulated with help from a person who stayed in her house (Air B&B). This product will turn regular paint into chalky paint at a fraction of the cost. This enables you to undertake large paint projects while using chalky paint without breaking the bank. In addition to selling the powder she also offers classes where she teaches a couple of techniques used when doing paint pouring. Her classes are great for girls night out, date night, family fun day whatever occasion you can come up with to gather together with friends and get creative. You can also bring drinks and snacks. I made four coasters and paid the extra 10$ to have them coated with an epoxy. I prefer the shiny finish. Coco also has vintage items for sell in her shop. She found most of the items on the side of the road or in some similar fashion. She then cleans them up, restores or potential using chalky paint to alter them. So things get donated other things she sells. I recommend just going into the shop and looking around at all the antiques. Within her shop she also has spaces that other people utilize. There is a shop downstairs that is only open on Saturdays. The lady is selling random old school items. It reminds me of one of those shops on Lorain. There is so much art on display and for purchase. You can literally create, consume and buy in one place. Tip: Check out her website! read more

I walked by Coco's and next thing I knew I was on a free tour of her space. She has transformed a city block's worth of space into a gallery for taking pictures. It was unexpected and unique. I highly recommend stopping into her spot to check it out! read more

I accidentally found this place walking through the 5th Street Arcade one day, and have been back a few times with friends and family. However, my most memorable visit occurred this week when I brought my daughters to the store to meet the resident artist (Mark). You cannot stop at Coco's without meeting Mark. He is the kind gentleman that will teach you how to paint tiles using Coco's Chalky Paints. However, if you have something else you want to paint, and have a little extra money, Mark will help you bring out that little artist hiding inside. He did that with my girls when they wanted to paint matching tables that they picked up from Goodwill. The girls walked over to the shop 4-days in a row to work on their art project, and each time they were welcomed and met more artists and passerby's (like we were initially). The girls also met Coco, received a personalized tour of the store, and spent time talking with Coco about her career and the history of the store. She is an amazing woman and showed my girls that they always have a place to visit the next time they are in Cleveland! read more

This place really only offers tours in hopes you will use them for an event. The person walks you around for a tour and won't leave you alone as they do not allow you to take a selfie in any of the stations. It's kinda strange and not what you expect. Unless you are looking to use them for an event it's a waste of time. read more

We stumbled upon Coco's Selfie Space when traveling from North Carolina and it was most definitely a hidden gem!!! The creativity, thought, and efforts put into forming these incredible pieces of art is well worth seeing. Coco was very welcoming and made sure to give a full free tour of the spaces created by her. Visiting from Florida and luckily found Coco's. This is an amazing must visit place. The treasures found are wonderful and Coco, the owner operator, CEO, Founder, Artist herself was there and has positive vibes as you enter.
