Jose and his crew came out to take a look at a long time issue we've had with our roof that we've had two other crews work on over the years. The last atmospheric river almost sunk a visit from some friends as the roof leaked AGAIN... and with another one on the way, we needed to act fast to get this resolved permanently. Very fair pricing on very short notice... written estimate and we're off. Started the next day and reported that there was some dry rot that he would cover under our original estimate... no gouging here... Work was impeccable and clean up was complete... couldn't even tell that work had been done. Attention to detail was high. He replaced a board that was rotted and made sure that he primed the board to ensure that it wouldn't suffer with the upcoming rain. Overall, we're impressed and highly recommend Roofing Craftsman for your roofing needs. They were on time and delivered exactly what they promised on time and on budget. Oh my gosh, the Roofing Craftsmen team are FANTASTIC! From the onsite quote to the work, cleanup, and followup, I felt so well taken care of. Jose is completely down-to-earth and straightforward. He listened well to my thoughts, thoroughly answered all questions, and guided me toward making decisions (a combination of TPO and asphalt shingles) that I felt really good about -- no pressure at all. His quote was accurate, although it ended up going a bit over because the team showed me how badly the boards over my garage needed to be replaced, and I am grateful they put in that extra time. Our roof is 24 yrs old. We were on a waiting list with the local roofers for about 6 months. I called Craftsman roofing and the owner came out to the house in a few days and gave us a fair estimate. There was a break in the rainy weather and they came out within 2 weeks. I thought the "demo" would take the entire first day but, with a crew of 6 men on the roof, they took off old the old shingles and started installing the new ones. This included cutting out for for 3 Sun Tunnels we wanted installed. The roofing crew were quick, very dedicated and seemed to enjoy their job. They worked well together and were done in 2 Days. Jose's Company, Roofing Craftsmen, saved our home this winter season. They responded to a very leaky roof (7 buckets in our kitchen!) by sending a team of guys to patch it on Christmas Eve - a Sunday - in between rain storms, and returned at the first break in the rain to completely replace our roof in 2 1/2 days! The foreman, Eli Ogle, supervised with Ricardo and Chavez heading the team of 7 guys to get the work finished in between winter storms. They replaced our tar and gravel flat roof with heat reflective TPO latex covering which lasts 30+ years. They reshingled our two peaks with Bark colored shingles - also 30 years - which improves the aesthetics of our home. A great team of guys. We could not recommend them more highly! read more

Well, just had these folks do a repair on our roof. They tore off some old roof(actually about 3 roofs...lol) and found multiple points of dryrot. They replaced it with all fresh wood, then all the good roofing materials. They refreshed all the roof vents, and even painted them, including ones they didn't do, just so they all matched. Excellent experience! We had our roof and gutters replaced this summer, and are very satisfied! Jose was super easy to communicate with, and his whole crew was professional and friendly. They cleaned up each day (and even did extra clean up for another contractor who did a small job for us but left our backyard littered with nails). I need to apologize this review is way past due. I cannot say enough about Jose and his team of experts that replaced my roof. We had several companies come out in place a bid, it wasn't the cheapest bid but Jose stood out the most with his thorough inspection and communication. Now we were worried due to our roof being not only the original roof from the late 60's but we had a lot of dry rot on top of that it had been double shingles, so we were about what they would find and nervous it would drive the estimate way up but let me tell you they removed all the dry rot without cutting any corners and did it the most cost effective way that stayed within our budget! You can tell that Jose treats his team well and in return they do outstanding work even the inspector complimented their work! We had a slow leak near a vent that was growing larger with every rain storm and another suspected leak. I was having trouble getting any company to call me back, do repair work, or work on composite shingle roofing. This company saved the day. Replied so quickly when we reached out, got the owner out to take a look and estimate within a few days. I was given an estimate for the glaring immediate issues on the spot, and a thoughtful response to the additional issues he noted due to a bad install of the original roof (done by a now out of business company prior to us buying our house). Things were explained in a way that made sense to me and was logical steps to fix the issues. Within a week of the estimate, I got a text asking if the work could be done the next day, and the lead roofer showed up on time and completed the work efficiently and it looks seamless from the street! They provided pictures of the progress which I appreciate since I couldn't view the work in progress. The owner showing up mid job to check in gave me peace of mind that it was all being done correctly and we were being taken care of. Jose is really our Angel. After Christmas, we came home to a puddle of water in our hall way, laundry room, garage #1 and garage #2. We put in a claim with our insurance and have been playing this waiting game for them to help us identify where the leak is coming from. They sent their roofing person who only identified three parts of the roof but left with no tarp. We contacted 4 other roofing contractors where one showed up and did not want to take the job but instead referred us to another company. After multiple unreliable roofing contractors, my colleague at work referred me to Roofing Craftsman. Leah was awesome in contacting us back right away. But Jose, he is the lifesaver we did not expect. Jose came to us the same day we asked for help, and even though it was wet after the rain, he took a quick look at our roof and where the water was gushing out from. He told us the problems was a clogged gutter and no stucko to seal between the gutter and the wall. Mind you, he is a roofing guy, but he saw how desperate we were in stopping the water from going into our home. This kind soul, rolled up his sleeve and helped removed some of the debris and unclogged the pipe the water was unable to go down in. In seconds, all the water that was clogged came out. I tried to give Jose a tip, some money for his troubles but he would not accept it. Honesty, I really felt like crying given the 2 and half week of misery my family and I has gone through to prevent the water from going into our home to no avail. When he left, I did cry because of his act of kindness and I instantly prayed for the good Lord to bless him, his wife, his family and business to receive an abundance of blessings. I got so emotional because there are not too many stand up professionals out there that come out to be genuine in there desire to help folks who are down. By the way, he was spot on with where the leak came from because ever since he cleared our gutter we have not had anymore water leaks. We still have to fix the gutter, but he is the only roofing guy who pin point this up front and gone above and beyond. All the other roofers just wanted to replace the whole roof without a mention of the gutter. Once my gutter is fixed, my family and I are determined to have our roof replaced and award Jose and his business for their decency and honesty. I already heard of their wonderful reputation from my colleague for the work they did for them last year, but his character and the way he helped us without accepting a dime from us--this speaks volume!
