Their crew was incredibly well organized--almost choreographed--and completed the entire job in one day. Even my neighbors commented on how impressive they were. I was so happy with the experience that I recommended Capstone to my mother for her home in Windsor. They were extremely responsive, even repairing an active leak the very day we signed the contract, and then completed her new roof right on schedule. When an issue arose with the driveway, they took care of that as well. From start to finish, Capstone has been responsive, professional, reliable, and a pleasure to work with. I would recommend them without hesitation.

I did not have a good experience with Capstone Roofing, starting with their phone representative…read more During our initial call, she tried to end the conversation multiple times before I could ask questions about additional services such as skylight installation, insulation, gutters, and solar panel removal/replacement (which had already been coordinated with the solar company). The company also uses large 4-hour appointment windows (8 AM-12 PM or 12 PM-4 PM) for inspections. As a landlord, I was uncomfortable sitting outside the property for hours waiting for the technician to arrive, as I did not want to appear intrusive or make tenants uncomfortable. The phone representative assured me the technician would call before arriving, but that did not happen. Overall, the experience reflected poor customer service and poor communication between departments from the very beginning. Based on my experience, I would not recommend Capstone Roofing.

ONE STAR -- Apparently, the Handshakes Were Complimentary…read more If you're looking for a roofing company that can turn a friendly visit and two enthusiastic handshakes into a $64,760 surprise, congratulations. I've found your people. Gutierrez Roofing Co. came to my property to prepare an estimate for a new roof. We spoke, exchanged pleasantries, and shook hands twice. Lovely experience. Almost charming. Then came the estimate. $64,760. For a roof. Approximately 2,390 square feet of standing-seam metal roofing, to be precise. That's a breathtaking $27.10 per square foot. But wait! There's more! Would I also like gutters and downspouts? Why, certainly! That'll be another $6,160, bringing this little adventure in home improvement to $70,920. Oh, and the building permit? That's extra, too. At these prices, I half expected the estimate to include a complimentary helicopter landing pad. Now, I'm fully aware that 24-gauge standing-seam metal roofing is a premium product. I wasn't expecting bargain-bin materials or a crew working for lunch money. What I was expecting was some indication during the visit that we were discussing a project with a price tag approaching the cost of a luxury automobile. Not a hint. Not a ballpark figure. Just two handshakes and, later, a financial jump scare. Perhaps the roof would be magnificent. Perhaps the craftsmanship would be extraordinary. I'll never know, because at this price, I'd expect the roof to come with its own ZIP code. My advice? Get multiple estimates, ask for pricing expectations upfront, and don't mistake a friendly handshake for price transparency. I won't be moving forward. But I will say this: Those were two of the most memorable handshakes I've ever received. Thankfully, they were free.

From the very beginning, Ethan, Michael, Oscar, Belmonda and the entire team stood out because of their transparency, honesty, and genuine care. They took the time to educate us about our roof and pointed out issues and considerations that other roofing companies never even mentioned. We truly felt that they cared about our family and our home, regardless of whether we chose them for the project. The communication before and during the project was exceptional. Every team member knew their role, and everyone worked together like a symphony. The entire process was organized, professional, and efficient. Most importantly, the finished roof looks absolutely amazing. No construction project is completely without challenges, and we did experience a few mishaps along the way. What impressed us most was how Ethan and the team handled them. They took responsibility, communicated openly, and worked diligently to make things right. That level of accountability speaks volumes about their honor, integrity, and professionalism. Their responsiveness and commitment to resolving issues demonstrated exactly why they are such a trustworthy, reliable, and dependable company. As a homeowner, those qualities matter just as much as the quality of the work itself. The genuine care they bring to their customers and their craft is what truly sets them apart. I have already recommended Symplify Roofing to one of my neighbors who is dealing with a roof leak, and I would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone looking for a roofing company. I also want to thank Kyle, the owner of the business (and Ken's son who took it over), who provided invaluable help in getting the solar company to pay for the new roof and coordinated with them to ensure the new installation went well. This was truly the worst, most unprofessional hack job I have EVER experienced. Despite many correspondence requesting to make it right, I was ignored and left with this nightmare. Neither Kyle nor Ken ever even bothered to come see what sort of job the two flunkies did which so poorly represents their business and reflects upon their reputation.
