I did not have a good experience with Capstone Roofing, starting with their phone representative. During our initial call, she tried to end the conversation multiple times before I could ask questions about additional services such as skylight installation, insulation, gutters, and solar panel removal/replacement (which had already been coordinated with the solar company). The company also uses large 4-hour appointment windows (8 AM-12 PM or 12 PM-4 PM) for inspections. As a landlord, I was uncomfortable sitting outside the property for hours waiting for the technician to arrive, as I did not want to appear intrusive or make tenants uncomfortable. The phone representative assured me the technician would call before arriving, but that did not happen. Overall, the experience reflected poor customer service and poor communication between departments from the very beginning. Based on my experience, I would not recommend Capstone Roofing. read more

Their team arrived early in the morning removed the existing roof, discovered, dry rot on some of the plywood panels, removed and replaced those and added gutters which we requested. They were like a very well organized team. Each person knew what they were supposed to do and did a great job. They finished in one day and the most amazing part to me, after tearing all that stuff off, they cleaned up every single bit from both old and new roof. We knew our home needed a new roof back in 2022 when we bought the house. We had 4-5 different roofing companies come do estimates and Capstone was the lowest price. Well , life got in the way and we did other home improvements, put the roof on the back burner. Fast forward to now, 2025 , we really needed to get it done, so we called Capstone and they kept our original estimate. The cost went up (like everything else in the world) , but not by much at all. Had a few other companies come give an estimate as well. Both then, and now, Capstone just can't be beat in cost/price. They are significantly cheaper than all the other companies that did estimates. Some by a whole 10-15k. Their amazing reviews on Yelp and google speak for themselves. The day we got the roof installed, they got here about 7am and got to work. Maybe 10+ guys all working hard. They were respectful, fast and Efficient. The entire job was done by 3pm. Remove old roof (1300+ sq foot home), replace any rotted wood that was found , put on new shingles, new gutters and downspouts, and cleaned everything up. When they left, you wouldn't even know they were here. We have nothing negative to say. Everything about this company is great. From the original email asking for a quote, to dealing with emails setting everything up, to the foreman and guys doing the job, it was all top notch service and support!!! When it was my turn for a new roof, I called for an estimate and Bill came out within a day or two. Estimate was fair and done that same evening. An amazing crew stripped the roof, repaired a lot of damaged underlayment, and completed the new roof, including required gutter guards, by the afternoon. I'm sure the timeframe is not always the same, but it was about 4 weeks from my 1st call to the roof being completed. When I was searching for quotes, Capstone was responsive promptly returning my call. After getting them to prepare an estimate and then sending it was no more than a few "days." I mention this because majority of the companies had taken up to 2 weeks! One roofing company came out and he said he'll prepare the estimate and send it to me. Pascual and his team were magnificent! Our steep pitched roofs covered with both old wood and asphalt shingles were challenging. The job was made more difficult during cleanup because our house is built down the side of steep ridge. Debris unavoidably scattered everywhere, but by day's end the place was spotlessly clean. How the team stripped the garage and house to the purlins, sheathed with plywood, underlayment and new shingles in 90+ degree heat and then disappear as though never there by 5PM is something I'll long wonder about. From beginning to end of job, Capstone has impressed me. We received an estimate from them YEARS ago to have our roof replaced, when we bought our house. We were finally in a position to do so this summer. I called and they still had our records on file from 6 years ago! Nathan was out to look at our roof within just a few days, the estimate received within 2 days after that, and they came back to do the tear off and roof installation just a few weeks later. (BTW - the the other roofer I consulted couldn't come out for weeks to even give us an estimate, took a week to get the estimate back to us, their estimate was $10k more than Capstone, and they wouldn't be able to install said roof until Oct or Nov!) When the Capstone team arrived at 7am, there were many of them and they worked quickly and efficiently. They were in communication with me throughout the project to let me know when they needed to do a bit of dry rot repair. I was shocked when they were finishing up by 12:30! They cleaned up so well that you would never know they were here in the first place. And the roof looks really wonderful! This was all around a great experience.
