Able Roofing replaced our 20-year old roof the summer of 2020. Since then, we've called them several times over the years to address small leaks. Jon the owner has ALWAYS responded within hours, often minutes (just checked my texting history with him). Given one is usually reaching out when there is a downpour, its exemplary. Another example: There was a very rare (and unexpected) overnight summer rainstorm when the roof was replaced and Jon and crew showed up in the middle of the night to cover their work as needed. A real conscientiousness towards the work. The crew was great, worked very clean and efficiently (they worked hand in hand with a skylight installer). Able Roofing solved my problem! I really appreciated how Lino quickly identified that my leaky roof gutter was actually a plugged gutter. A surprise to me, as I have no trees near my 2-story home that would have clogged it. However, filled with silt and muck from years of gathering what blew through the neighborhood, 2 of the 5 downspouts were completely blocked and had to be removed to get them to finally clear of debris. They worked quickly to clean the gutters, neatly removing the sludge into trash bags, and reattaching the downspouts without any issues. Able Roofing rocks! Hailey and crew saved the day! I called earlier in the week and they said they could come over and take a look on Friday. That's pretty fast turnaround! The storm from the week before was pretty powerful and windy so it blew off the long metal fascia trim from our roof; it was left hanging by a nail. Hailey was great and coordinated their arrival. They showed up on Friday to look over the job. The crew said they could reuse the existing piece and put it back in place. I wasn't sure if they would be able to due to the warping and bending the trim took during the storm. The wind was literally whipping the trim around and it nicked our screen cover below but I digress. What did I have to lose? So, I said yes, let's go ahead and see what you can do. WOW, was I beyond impressed. The crew was able to reshape the metal trim and make it look good. A round of applause for their skill and expertise! It was repaired at a very fair price. Out of all the roofer's I have dealt with over a 30 year period, Able Roofing is by far the best of the best! I have essentially two different roof types =Ashphalt composition shingles with steep 12/12 pitches and large flat Tar and Gravel type roof. they were due for an end of life (my 3rd removal/replacement). The flat roof alone thinned the herd as far as competition; Other roofing companies are either unwilling or incapable of working on these types of roofs so I was pleasantly surprised when the owner Jon Immediately said "no problem". Jon's expert crew installed my nice new asphalt shingle roof in 2 days. I had quite a bit of extra work done including replacing my 3 existing skylights, gutters and a garage fan. The crew of 7 did an impeccable job. Jon recommended his solar installer Charles, who is the owner of Golden Gate Renewables. Charles came out after the roof had been stripped and installed the anchors for the 16 solar panels. Jon's crew then flashed in the anchors so it was totally ready for the panels after the shingles had been installed. This way the way to go because the guarantee for the roof includes the panel mounts. The Enphase microinerter system with 10 kW battery is being installed today. I have no doubt that both the roof and solar system will last for at least another 20 years. This past April 2023 I called over 4 companies looking for a new roof sometime this year. Was not in a rush. Their bids were either much higher, or they weren't offering new bids until August and the work wouldn't be scheduled until 2024! I found Able on Yelp when I needed a new roof on our house and stand-alone garage and ended up being very happy with their work. I called to get a bid. Turns out, the don't do bids. What they do is come out ready to work, give you an estimate, then expect you to say yes or no right then, and then they start work. I can see how this saves wasted efforts on their end, but I don't like feeling pressured to approve work with no comparisons, especially since the repair was not critical at the moment.
