We paid directly for these. The kitchen looks great. My only word of caution is I was quoted 5,000 and a weeks time. When it was all said and done we paid over 9,000 and it took a month and a half. Some of the extra expenses were for: redoing the flooring, painting (I paid for the supplies), removing the old cabinets/dishwasher, and replacing the Sheetrock. None of these items were included in the original quote, but would seem obvious things that need to be done. So sit down and have a conversation about the "extras" that will come up. Expect to pay significantly more than agreed on and for it to take a lot longer.
