I have a single story house roughly 1800 square feet, apparently the rough was double in sq/ft of what my actual floor plan. My list of contractors that quoted me was approximately 10, some responded quickly, others not so much - the criteria I used to select those ten were as followed: 1) Registrar of Contractors (AZ ROC) in good standing with no previous or pending complaints, 2) A member of the BBB of AZ - also with no pending or previous complaints, 3) More than 5 years in the roofing industry as listed by AZ ROC, 4) listed by either Certainteed or Malarkey Roofing materials as a contractor for residential installations - the two shingle manufacturers I choose as suitable materials. Ultimately most of the bids were very close; ranging from 16,000 - 12,000 dollars to complete the job. Reyes Roofing was my choice for several reasons; 1) simple and precise contract (some contracts had added fees - first layer of roof included, second layer would be billed at a per sq/ft basis, etc, etc), 2) the length of guarantee on workmanship - many contracts only quoted a guarantee/warranty on labor/workmanship of one year (something I felt was a palsy sum since the two types of roofing are "lifetime warranty" architectural laminated shingles (laymen terms multi-tab 30 year shingle) {Reyes offers 10 years as part of the quote}, and 3) Price. I was not disappointed, my quote was exact, included taxes, fees, and there was no limitations or expressed loop-holes that other quotes I had received had. Scheduling was simple, albeit not on my part - I had specific requests to prevent messing with my work schedule that other bidders did not promise any type of possibility to adhere to. Removal of the two layers of roof was relatively simple, all and any debris that fell on the ground was picked up at the end of each work day. Installation was just as simple, they took roughly two and a half days - first day removal, second day completed removal and applied roof to about 75% complete, third day completion and removal of trailer full of debris. Contact was simple, any calls were answered promptly, and the only one time I left a message, it was returned in a timely manner. Knowing now what I know and if I had to do it all over again, I wouldn't hesitate to choose Reyes Roofing.

I live in a condo and my upstairs neighbor's insurance company hired Straight Arrow to fix his patio. An employee pushed my patio gate open, the one BELOW the staircase to the patio they're working on. It's literally impossible to access from the staircase and it makes no logical sense. When I questioned him, he said he thought the condo was two story. When I asked how that worked when there were two numbers, he said "I don't know." I then spoke with my upstairs neighbor who said they knew it was two story as they watched him leave and told him he can't go back on his patio, so he took a duffle bag to stay elsewhere. Yet, the dense employee continued to lie to my face because he didn't think he'd get caught. I called the owner of Straight Arrow Roofing who said "well I'm sorry he used your water" without acknowledging his employee literally forced his was into my enclosed and gated patio, trespassing on my property. He even tried telling me "it wouldn't be good for [me]" had I shot his employee on my patio out of fear. He got very quiet when I told him I work in law and that's not how that works. The cops also didn't feel the same when I told them three times that the man "needs to be trespassed for his safety and mine" lol, they understood. When I called the cops, the employee who trespassed on my patio called someone and laughed about the situation. Here's a cute picture of him laughing about violating a woman's home and lying to the cops about it. The whole video was sent to the insurance agent who hired them. When my husband and I left to run errands, the arrogant employee told him "hahaha the cops came and did nothing." He said they'll be back, they misunderstood, and the police had him formally trespassed from my home. I also sent photos of the patio to my neighbor and the tape wasn't secured tightly, the plastic is everywhere. Shoddy work from garbage people as expected. UPDATE: The curly haired kid isn't on site anymore after being trespassed. Guess who's laughing now boys. No one from this circus still called or text back to apologize, but I'm sure you apologized to Brian which is good enough for me ;) Someone likely told them to tape off the stairs after I posted the pictures of the shitty work - they didn't do that the day they were trespassed lol. Thankfully the work is done and I hope you all learned your lessons. Don't ever try this type of predatory behavior again or may you be handled appropriately by the women you happily violate - especially because it's completely legal in this state. SECOND UPDATE: The work took longer to complete as the workers didn't tape off my upstairs neighbor's patio and an Amazon worker threw a package on it. They also damaged my wall by forcefully opening my gate when trespassing and are actively laughing it off when I ask for their insurance information. I'll now be contacting the appropriate boards. Good thing I practice law and can sue you at no cost to me ;)

So this is going to be a rather long review. There were a couple of hiccups along the way to…read moregetting my roof replaced, but in the end, Payne/Integrity Roofing did a great job on my roof. I can't overstate how the two installers went above and beyond. They not only did a stellar job of the install, they kept the site clean, and offered extra help as well. But... there is a saga here. My insurance company, who will NOT be getting a nice review, demanded that I replace my entire roof. After having a number of different companies over to see the job, I got estimates which ranged from around 5,000 to over 10,000. This is a 709 square foot house, just a simple roof. The house was built in 1963, so I expected there would need to be some lumber replaced. Payne Roofing was not the cheapest, they were right in the middle, but because of the way they answered questions, and their knowledge, they were the company I decided to go with. Now for the first hiccup: The finance company they use is called ProFund. Steer clear! They offered me "financing" with a 10% charge added to the job, and then 10% annually (I was planning to refinance this along with a few other projects). What they didn't tell me is HOW they were getting the funds. They required my checking account information. Next thing I know, they went in and EMPTIED MY CHECKING ACCOUNT. So they could lend MY OWN money back to me with interest! After a few phone calls, I got my money back, and Payne, who had received the down payment from ProFund actually hand delivered the refund check to me the next day. Do not use Profund. Do. not. A few months later, I got the financing to do the roof, and called them up. The job price was the same, minus the 10% additional charge. The two installers were professional, polite, outstanding, they helped me move some stuff, and for an additional fee, the company allowed me to get rid of some construction stuff in their dumpster. When they saw me moving it, they insisted on helping me. They were awesome. Now to the second hiccup. I drove in and saw that they were installing the wrong colored shingles. I called up the company, no drama, no problem, they admitted it was a mistake on their end, and with just a day of delay, the right shingles were on the house. They installed a vent at the peak of the roof, and did a great job with the flashing and edging, it all looks really nice. There were additional charges for the lumber that had to be replaced, but none of it was unnecessary, and the cost was reasonable. They sent me photos of the roof and the job they had done, and now we get to the third and last hiccup: Me. I looked at the pictures of the shingles, and on many of them a black line at the top of the shingles was visible. I had just enough knowledge to be dangerous in this situation. I thought that if you install shingles, and a black line is visible, you have done the job wrong. I also thought the way the roof penetrations were done was wrong. I was very rude and upset when I called. OK. I admit it... I may have... well I did. I Karened. In my defense, however, I have gotten ripped off quite a few times, and I was in a panic because of the Insurance Company That Shall Not Be Named. They were threatening to not renew my homeowner's insurance if the roof wasn't completed. The deadline was within 2 weeks, and here I had convinced myself that the roof was not done correctly, and not only was I going to have the house damaged the next time it rained, there would be no insurance to cover anything. I have a friend who is in the construction business looked at the photos, and explained to me that yes, just as Mr. Payne had told me, (and I had doubted him), that's what they are SUPPOSED to look like. He also mentioned that Payne has been around for years, and among other professionals, they have a good reputation. He also looked at the pictures of the treatments of the penetrations on the roof, and said they were fine. I called up Payne Roofing and apologized. So, I would recommend this company in the strongest terms. They went above and beyond, their prices were fair and reasonable, the workmanship was good, and when there were bumps in the road, they handled them. They were responsive and polite even when, I have to admit it, I wasn't. You can trust these guys.

They charged $150 for an inspection which is not standard practice, especially when the roof is under warranty. We had a leak down our picture window after a monsoon. We called them the next day. They came out…read morethe same day and gave us a good estimate. They did the job two days later. The next time it rained, there was another leak near our front door. They came back and fixed the problem with no charge. It's been fine ever since. Good price and fast and reliable work. If we have any more problems, they will top our list of who to call. And they even did something unrelated to the roof. Being a little older, we were unable to get up a ladder and replace some florescent lighting. He only charged us for parts and replaced the lights. Service beyond expectations!!
