My SISTER wants tickets to the Micheal Chicago Bulls watch party which was taking place here at the roof of the witch hotel. Eres such a Beautiful, Space Location, right across the street from the Chicago theater. Since it was sponsored by Micheal Otra, we got many drinks for free, and the food was free, which was absolutely divine. We got merchandise for free. There's lots of contacts which I want one T-shirt.. The view up and the rooftop is stunning. The Services bond, Amazing read more

Stopped into roof on the wit to attend a day party last sunday. The energy of the staff was very off. The ladies walked around with very snooty attitudes. Not saying excuse me as if we were a bother being there. I've been there before but do not recall having any interaction with the female staff but this stood out to me on this visit. Considering that a chicago promoter that i love frequents this place i hope this is not their norm. Its very unfortunate to face this when you are spending your money in an establishment. read more

It's worth every penny for the ambience. Rooftop bar with a greenhouse feel and beautiful decor. Service was extremely Friendly but we did wait a bit for our orders. Cocktails are crazy expensive ($50 for 2 mixed drinks and 1 soda), but you're paying for the view. We came on a Saturday around 3:00, wasn't very busy but the DJ was good. read more

I went at night real late for a drink and ended up wanting to sit down and eat. This spot does tables for $75 a person, unfortunately they were all reserved. Just a heads up that the drinks are more tax than the food. It's swanky and the crowd is great in there. The music is also great and the vibes were immaculate. I would say sitting upstairs aay from the bar area, was a bit secluded in which I felt our waiter forgot about us. The sushi and bao buns were great, but I wouldn't recommend the buffalo brussels. read more

Another favorite rooftop! I really do love how this rooftop have so many different type of rooms/sections with different aesthetics. The drinks are good and the food is delicious but of course with this location, it's a little pricey. I do think you get what you pay for but there are rooftops that may be a tad bit cheaper. There's a lot of parties and events that are hosted at this location so it's very popular in general. But come on any night of the week and you will still have a great time and enjoy great customer service. Every time I've been there there can be a little bit of wait, depending on how busy it is but still great service. I'll be back again lol read more

We reserved a table for a party of seven and paid a $100 reservation fee, only to find out afterward that there was also a $75 per person cover charge. This wasn't made clear during the booking process, and the lack of transparency was extremely disappointing. What should have been an enjoyable night started with an unexpected and expensive surprise. I won't be returning and can't recommend this place based on my experience. read more

Stayed at the hotel for a work trip and was pleasantly surprised by the rooftop bar. With immensely tall ceilings and floor to ceiling windows, the golden hour vibe here is insane. The neon lights and vibes at night, create a whole different energy, taking the place from cocktail hour to party. They have a good number of tables and seating, with space for large parties at their booths. I thought the drinks were amazing, two nights in a row I had a Mezcal sour, which is my first time ever seeing that on a bar menu, and such a great combination. Their food was also really good, the truffle fries were delicious, and I ordered a musubi, which came out, and I thought it was a standard sushi roll, it looked so different from your traditional musubi, and tasted different too. But I loved their take on it and would totally recommend trying it out. The sliders were also really good, everything was a pretty good vibe and the service were very nice and attentive. The prices are not cheap, but you are paying for the ambience. Totally will come back. read more

The venue is beautiful, with amazing views and a great DJ, making it a fun rooftop experience. However, I wouldn't recommend it if you're coming for the food. I wasn't aware of the menu before arriving, but the pizza and wings were no better than what you could get at a local neighborhood restaurant. The service was the biggest disappointment. Our server charged the wrong credit card despite us clearly explaining--and physically showing her--multiple times which card should be used for each transaction. Mixing up a $45 charge and a $233 charge after being told twice is unacceptable. If there had been any confusion, I would have gladly clarified again. If staff aren't able to properly process split payments, the restaurant should reconsider allowing guests to use multiple cards. Overall, you're paying for the rooftop atmosphere, views, and music--not the food or the service. read more

Quite the place on St. Patricks's Day weekend. The bar was open from 7am until early the next morning. Neat ambiance, I can only imagine it would be even more impressive in the summer. There was a DJ in one section with go go dancers dressed on theme. The bartender was great and made fabulous drinks (even though it was outrageously busy) on the other side of roof. A younger crowd, but free to go to if you are staying at the hotel (not free if you aren't). read more

At first our waitress seemed like she didn't want to be bothered but as the day continued to go along she became nicer, accommodating and the food was very good and hot as ordered. I had a really great time! Huge thank you to Joanna because she really did a great job job in taking care of my reservation for my birthday. I highly recommend for nice views, good music and excellent vibes. "Copy review read more

We were there for the last portion of Friday Happy Hour and it was very lively! Despite the crowd and DJ, we were still able to talk and enjoyed the atmosphere. Came here to enjoy an after work happy hour and loved it! We were a pretty big group but we were able to be seated fairly easily which was much appreciated. The drinks were really great! Had a wide variety and you'll instantly earn cool points for having a Penicillin on the menu. Service was good too and this spot is absolutely beautiful - I walked in and was so amazed. I can't speak to the food as we only tried the pizza which was good. Overall I'd definitely come back for drinks if I lived in the area. read more

There is something special about dining on a rooftop. Open, airy and spacious. The day was perfect; sunshine all around adding to the already scenic views. Kendall, our server had the perfect personality for hosting. She made sure we always had everything we needed. She was able to give detailed answers about the menu and suggest great drinks. The brunch menu is quite extensive, so many great options, including vegan and vegetarian. They have thought of everything. Bottle service is available if you are interested in elevating your dining experience. We each ordered different items and agreed that everything was delicious. The star of the show however was the chicken, cheese and herb empanadas. We had to order another round of those. Which came out with our second drink. Timing could not have been more perfect. The live DJ was nice; not too loud. We were still able to converse without yelling. Our work schedules don't allow us to get together that often. When we do, it's like it was just yesterday that we saw each other. Always nice to catch up. Good food and drinks make it worth it. read more

What went wrong: 1. Ordered Korean BBQ wings and got wings with Asian seasoning (notice how my pic does not match the ones posted by others) 2. Asked for ranch. Was given "ranch". The nastiest ranch ever. I asked the ppl who bring out the food to confirm if what I had was ranch. The man confirmed. I told the waitress the "ranch" was nasty. She asked me to describe it. I told it her it could not be ranch. I never had ranch like that before. She went to the back and then came back to table to tell me what was given was indeed NOT ranch. It was an aioli and apologized. 3. No one else followed the dress code. The party across from me also had balloons. 4. My reservation was at 2:30pm. I was told at arrival that the kitchen closed at 3pm. The brunch menu on Saturday was very limited as well. What went well: 1. Nice views 2. Liked the music 3. The waitress removed the wings from my bill. 4. Was convenient since I am staying at theWit read more

Came here for a dinner with friends and was highly disappointed. It was my first time there and I want to add that it is very overrated and overhyped on social media. Don't get me wrong - BEAUTIFUL place! I didn't get to experience the open rooftop but I do plan to come back for a party or something instead. I will not order food here again though. SUPER expensive my goodness and NOT worth it at all. The sushi was not that good, pretty basic if you ask me. The pizza was decent but small. The drinks were not hitting at all which is insane for.. again... the price. read more

The vibe was amazing during the day with a DJ and a nice Happy Hour. It was a definite after work unwind spot. It was a super warm day allowing for sunshine and a nice breeze from the retractable window. The evening was definitely more of a club chill vibe . Of course another great DJ, food and space for dancing. 2 bars and plenty of lounge area. Some nights are managed by a promoter but not during my stay. Saturday is clearly made for brunch as I took advantage of people watching in the lobby before heading out to explore. Make sure you check out the walk out deck..amazing photo spot. Next time I would love to brunch. read more

FRAUDULENT CHARGES ADDED AFTER DINNER We visited for a birthday dinner on Thursday, November 20, 2025. The meal itself was fine, and our original bill was $245.00, which already included the gratuity. I also left an additional cash tip. The major problem happened the next day. On Friday, November 21, 2025, an unauthorized $50.00 charge was posted to my credit card as a "cash tip" that I absolutely did not approve or leave. This is outright theft and credit card fraud. I immediately disputed this fraudulent $50 charge with my bank. It is completely unacceptable for a business to modify customer charges after they have left. I strongly urge anyone dining here to check their credit card statements carefully for unauthorized additions. What should have been a lovely evening was ruined by having to deal with the stress and inconvenience of financial dishonesty. I will never return. read more

The views, ambiance and drinks were great (we didn't eat at all). The service was, we'll just say, not good (to put it kindly). The service was slow and inattentive. We had to sit with empty glasses for several minutes before our waitress came by. At one point she took our empty glasses and just walked off, didn't even ask if we wanted another. The only time she was quick was when we were paying the bill. read more

Sitting at our table while writing this. Restaurant is fully staffed and maybe at half capacity and our server is lolly gagging around and hasn't been to our table in about fifteen minutes. Drink order was wrong, she seemed bothered when we had to ask for more water (after she'd been to our table multiple times with our glasses empty), and have been sitting waiting to order our entrees. About to walk out and go get dinner elsewhere. read more

We got there as soon as they opened on a Saturday w/ a reservation, but there was bar seating as well for people with no reservations. Service was good & consistent. The empanadas were super fresh and flavorful. I loved the pizza as well, the flavors were very balanced and I was told that the sliders and potatoes were great. We had a scare of blue pancake batter splashing on the buns of the sliders and looked like mold, but our server apologized & reassured us. She also had my drink remade with no issue after a few flies landed in it. The restaurant is super pretty & great for photos. read more

I have been here twice now and both times were a good time! I recommend giving it a try. We ordered a Charcuterie Board, Wings, & sliders - all of it was tasty and good quality. Plus, one of my favorite things about Chicago is the views. And the ROOF has some of the best views in Chicago, plus plus it's nearby so much activities. Not only by activities but also by public transportation, very convenient. I have never stay at The Hotel downstairs but I'm sure it's a great time as well! The only down fall, I feel like the prices were kind of crazy. Like much more expensive than I was expecting, if I had to choose between this ROOF and somewhere nearby, I would consider somewhere nearby just because of the prices. Unfortunately, I don't like to spend an arm & a leg on drinks/bites. Nonetheless, if you've never been to the ROOF, I recommend! Thank you ROOF, I'll see you soon. Personal Review: 6.9/10 read more

Classy upscale place with a real beautiful rooftop view. Definitely pricey!! We got there right as happy hour was ending but our waitress was kind enough to give us one round with happy hour pricing. Our table got a variety of drinks (gin and tonic, negroni, lemon drop martini) and we all enjoyed! We shared some pizza and fries. LOVED the parmesan fries. How this place is still allowed to operate is beyond me. Everything from the service to the food to the drinks is third rate. The website has a big essay on "dress code" but everyone just walked in as they were, including track pants and shorts. The food was very ordinary but they charged A+ prices. Drinks were downright gross. The "lounge" isn't a rooftop how the hell si something a rooftop when the roof isn't open and you don't even have a view of anything? Go to Cindy's or Londonhouse instead. read more

Came with reservations on a Saturday morning for brunch. Place wasn't very busy when we got there. The inside decor makes it clear the place is a club in the evening but the music was chill at the time we were there. They came for our drink order - I wanted coffee but was informed the coffee machine not working so I get any. That was pretty unfortunate there was not any other coffee options available for a brunch. I ended up getting a mimosa instead. For breakfast, I ended up getting the Roof breakfast. I got scrambled eggs, and they were a bit overcooked for my liking. The potatoes had a nice crunch to them. I got sausage instead of bacon and I enjoyed the links. We also split the blueberry lemon pancakes. The toppings were light and weren't nearly enough for the amount of pancakes there was. The pancakes themselves were cooked nicely. Shortly into our meal, the power went out in the building. They needed up opening up the doors to outside and we went out to enjoy the view. Being high up, it was nice to see the city from there. The waitress was kind as well and quick to help us. Overall, it was a very okay experience and meal. The breakfast dishes are pretty standard and limited in options. I wouldn't seek this place out but would come if i was invited. read more

Super cute ambiance and seating with great views. Great cocktails and service. Will be back to try the food.

Pretty but pricey! Paid $20 for one cocktail. They did have a happy hour menu but I didn't like their cocktail options. Loved the service although it seemed as if the host had a somewhat catty demeanor. Our server was sweet though! The decor and lighting was beautiful to say the least. I didn't try any of their food options because we were short for time but the drink I ordered, Ginger Snaps, was delicious. It was off of their Seasonal Cocktail menu. Mmm not too much more I can say other than book a reservation and that if you're taking a Lyft or Uber from this location to ask the front desk for assistance because it can be tricky for the driver to find you if the location isn't pinned correctly. read more

My overall experience was just okay here. The drinks were a bit watered down and the food was good, but nothing special. We got placed at a wobbly table initially and we asked to switch since there were plenty of other tables, but they were hesitant to at first. There were no other reservations that came in during the time that were were there and it was strange that they were unwilling to move us if they were not expecting any other parties.
