After dinner at Prime Bar our server asked us if we wanted to check out The Lounge, the second floor speakeasy. We were led up stairs, through a classic shelf-thats-actually-a-door, through curtains and into The Lounge. Inside smells like sandalwood, the lounge seating is low and the pillows are so cozy, the space is intimate and warm and a strong thematic continuation of the Mediterranean style Nisos Prime Bar downstairs, DJ has the music bumping, and the air is energetic and sea-breezy. There is table seating and bar seating, and I anticipate the Lounge becoming a popular date night, night-out, and private event spot, with tables becoming more and more coveted. Disco ball was spotlighted for a few minutes and I got a hint of the oontz oontz vibes The Lounge could take on too. I don't want to spoil too much so I recommend going and seeing for yourself, esp on a less busy weeknight, you'll be pleasantly surprised 〜()〜 read more
