This business installed and repaired my cage after Irma, and did an excellent job. But now I need a new front screened entranceway ; they come and measure but no estimate . Four phone calls and numerous text messages and they ignore me. A professional would at least say they don't want the job but these people just ignore the customer . Can't imagine if they did work and there was an issue that they would be professional enough to satisfy the customer. Best thing is to find a company that values its customers and is honest enough to communicate . Very disappointed . read more

This was my first time going to this business for my window repair. I have young, athletic kids, so this is the third time Ive had this window replaced. So, third time fix, first time coming to Ron's. I am coming to them from now on! They finished my single pane replacement extremely quickly and for the best price I found that day. Jason was the main person we dealt with, and he did an outstanding job!!! So good, I may need to bring the rest of the panes in so they look just as good!! I called them this morning as I need a home window repaired/replaced. For whatever reason their telephone system says they are with another client or on the other line and provide extensions so that you can speak with someone or leave a message. All the extensions they provide just error out and your stuck in a loop listening to them thanking you for calling. It's the 21st century and a working phone system is a must if you want to conduct business. Judging from the lack of professionalism...perhaps, not getting through to them is a good thing. read more

I called to get an estimate and the man told me he would let me know if he could come by, I gave him a call closer to the time frame he had given me and told me, "I was thinking about coming out....." and when I asked if he could, he told me that "he was busy doing paperwork and would give me a call back because there was a call he needed to take!" Absolutely horrid!!!! First, their online request for an appointment does not work - I called and followed up, was told that it doesn't work (messages aren't viewed). Then why have it on your website!? Every single conversation I have with this young man, I literally have to repeat myself several times; he doesn't comprehend anything!!! A few days before the appointment, same guy called to confirm (not the time though), he didn't have it written down ... surprise surprise. Mind you, I've been waiting for him to arrive for our scheduled appointment today... I called and he had no recollection of anything... then he somewhat remembered and was like "oh, things were swamped here so I couldn't go... and I don't have your info in front of me". He was trying to reschedule for late tonight (after work) or for tomorrow... Again, had to repeat to him what this was for again... literally within a second or two he forgot what I needed him to see at my house... I finally told him that I am not rescheduling and canceling. DISAPPOINTED- I paid top dollar because I was "promised" delivery and installation by a certain date. The shower enclosure was received within 2 days at Ron's Glass and then installation became a problem. For 3 days I received a "promise" and each day a different excuse. It became apparent they do not have adequate staff to complete installations. My timeline was not met which became expensive to me. I then was double billed and was told a check would be mailed. After 2 more weeks I went to their office to pick up check. Very poor customer relations and inadequate staff. Never again! read more

I am truly outraged with this company and want the community to know what TERRIBLE customer service and work they have done. I almost never YELP, but I want to make their bad business practice known!!! Two MONTHS ago we brought our window screen into the business and asked for a replacement. (We had always had good service here in the past) Several weeks later, still no call, so we contact them and they say to come pick it up. When I show up, I say "Is this my screen? It looks too small". Karen tells me it has our name on it and confirms that no other screen out there has the same name, so I take it home slightly confused. Lo, and behold...It is NOT our screen! Well, unfortunately, THEY CAN NO LONGER FIND THE SCREEN WE BROUGHT THEM, so they suggest WE MEASURE OUR WINDOW FOR A REPLACEMENT. We tell them that " we brought the broken screen to ensure correct measurements and since THEY LOST IT, they should come out to measure for the screen we have patiently waited for." Okay, so someone comes out, measures and we go pick up the replacement screen again....IT IS TOO BIG BY 1/2'. How can professionals mismeasure a window?? When we report the screen is not the correct size THE OWNER GETS ON THE PHONE AND SUGGESTS WE MEASURE OUR OWN WINDOW. Now, if their own employees cannot get it right, why should a lay person do better???? THEY STILL HAVE NEVER COME BACK TO MEASURE AND OUR SCREEN IS LOST AT THEIR STORE. Now we have to PAY some other company to come out and measure our window for a replacement, because THEY DON'T HAVE INTEGRITY TO FINISH A JOB CORRECTLY. I am utterly disgusted with their incompetence, but angrier that the owner doesn't care that they lost our screen and should be responsible enough to measure and replace with the correct size. I WILL NEVER RECOMMEND THIS STORE and will gladly report to anyone how unprofessional they have become. read more

I can't say enough about the great service Ron and Karen gave me on my shower doors. I flip houses and my normal shower enclosure guy couldn't fit me in, and they were able to accommodate me ASAP after knowing I was on a fast deadline. Please be advised that I am rating customer service with this review, I did not have any services performed by this company. Called Ron's when a competitor blew me off. What service! While Ron's could not accommodate my needs, Karen kindly gave me the name and number to another competitor in town that was able to help me. She also called me about an hour later to ascertain if my needs were being met. In my experience it is rare for competing companies to assist each other but it speaks volumes to the level of customer service that Ron's provides. Sliding glass door broke, so I removed it from the frame to sweep up glass. Guys come out to replace the glass and they seriously struggled getting the door back on. They spent a long time trying to figure it out. They were seriously read to leave. I had to beg them to get the door back on. Now the door is insanely difficult to open and close. If I were geriatric I wouldn't be able to open the door. Whereas before the glass broke, it was easy to open it, before if you slide it open to hard it would hit the door jam and then bounce back open. Called and spoke with Ron and asked him to come out and fix it. He continued on about how his guys never saw the sliding door in the frame and couldn't test it to see how it rolled. Ron went on to tell me about other customers lying about having perfect rolling doors and how now he test every sliding door before doing a reinstall. I asked if he could send his guys out to look at it again. I even offered to pay for it. He only was interested in a hard up sell for a new sliding door. read more

Since then we have had nothing but trouble with improper installation every time it rains we have water leaks in several windows I have had to caulk the outside of these windows when the rain stops. So sad.......awful customer service. I dropped off a sliding glass door screen to be re screened a month ago; they lost it. So after a lot of stories of issues that they are experiencing.......I have no screen for my sliding glass door AND they do not care. They offered to come out and measure for anew screen for me but I feel that I have been patience in waiting for 2 weeks. Communication was poor. This was for a rental. There was too much confusion about when they would do the job, whether they had done the job, I cancelled the job because of the delays but it was done anyway. They presented the tenants with the invoice wanting immediate payment instead of sending me the invoice. I called to remind them that the invoice was to come to me and they said they had no memory of me giving them my address for the invoice. I do not recommend them. read more

"I'm not my brother's keeper"..... That's what we were told when we finally asked to talk to the owner of the store and the worker supposedly didn't know where he was. Can you imagine? This after there was clearly no interest on the worker's part to help us out. We wanted to discuss the poor fit (1/4" off each side) of the custom glass top we ordered, in addition to the poor condition (as in a thick coat of dust and some chipped paint on the hand-painted table that my mother-in-law created for us) in which we found our table when we picked it up. Among the low lights?: 1) The order was set up with only my first name and no last name, which made it difficult to track and research, 2) being told to call the glass manufacturer who actually cut the glass (yeah, the company Ron's subcontracted) to complain.....Really? ... Since when should a client ever talk to a subcontractor??? 3) As with another review here, being told to measure the table ourselves. They kept telling us that they never get complaints. That's not what I've seen here. read more
