I wanted to place 5 single pane aluminum windows and a sliding door. I choose American Window Concepts because I encountered their Youtube channel and was impressed with the level of knowledge that Sean, the CEO, demonstrated in those videos. They also had the best price of all the installers I talked to. When I met Sean, he was extremely sociable and polite. He took measurements quickly and gave me a quote in person. There was no pressure to say yes or no. He showed me the catalog of options and provided some recommendations. On the day of installation, we had two people install the windows and sliding doors. The job took about 3 or 4 hours, which was faster than I expected because Sean told me it could be an all day job. They were polite and cleaned up after themselves. The caulk they used to seal around the vinyl frame exterior is a clear type, which i appreciated since this makes the installation look much cleaner than my neighbors, whose installer had a dark brown colored caulk that doesn't match the window vinyl frame at all. Overall, I highly recommend American Window Concepts. They know what they're doing, and they're pretty good at it. I still watch their Youtube videos to this day since they're very educational and will no doubt help me with my next Window replacement in the very, very distant future. read more

Our journey of window replacements started well over a year ago. We explored many different installation companies and window types and are very grateful to have found American Window Concepts. The journey: two initial companies that we called were extremely pushy at the end of the first meeting asking for a large deposit. We are looking at buying windows not a car.... One vendor would not provide a quote due to the size of our windows and their location on the 2 & 3 floors. Another provided a quote that was literally double the price. Doug was our contact and he was very educational and patient with us. We went through two rounds of quotes because we wanted to add more windows based on our interactions with him. He drove down from Ventura to OC multiple times, including for a preinstall walk through. Despite the distance he was never late. I respect this. He respected my time and this is the small things that matter to me. On installation day, the crew was courteous and their final product was spectacular. The finishing trim was done with detail in mind. A neighbor who used another company did not have this experience. Gaps in the trim and wall pieces are visible and done without regard for a fine finish. The Anlin windows themselves are doing a great job of keeping a temperature differential of 15-20 degrees. One evening we had 49 degrees as the low and at 6 am we were sitting at 71 internally. The sound benefits are equally appreciated. When choosing a company there are three components to explore: 1) sales experience 2) product sold 3) final installation. American Window Concepts excelled at all 3. I always use reviews but this is my first in providing one. I never found it worthy until now - that's what I think of this company. read more

I contacted few companies regarding sliding door replacement. American Windows Concepts are local (Ventura County) for my parents so I decided to go with them. Sean assured me that they will be taking care if any issues. My parents told me after a day of the installation that there were defect on the sliding door handle. I contacted Sean right away regarding it and came by the next day even though they were closed. Both my parents and I are happy that they stand by their words if any issues that they will handle it as soon as possible. When I tell you these people can install windows fast, I mean it. I was told it would take about 4-8 weeks to get the windows ordered but it happened within 3 weeks. They installed it the next day. I had installed a sliding door; and every window in my house it took about 6 hours? Would of been less had the sliding door been a little easier to install. The guys working we're extremely friendly and informative about the ins and outs of their windows such as the warranty, the locking and the unlocking system... From the first moment I met Sean, I knew that he wasn't just another sales guy. (Like the other window vendors I met with). Our numerous questions were answered quickly (and patiently); it was nice that the measurements for the quote were precise enough to order the windows (other companies made it a two step process, with second person returning to do precision measurements); the install team worked with us so our cats didn't freak out, and they left the place clean! A bit late to the game with this review, but felt compelled to type one up because Sean and the whole team went above and beyond for not only us but our neighbor as well! I met with probably closer to ten providers before landing with Sean. I tend to try to do my homework and was still comparing different brands of windows. Once I landed with Anlin and met with Sean - it was a no-brainer. He is extremely kind, super knowledgeable and ZERO pushy. He makes sure to educate you and gives great ideas for different window styles/options for any given space. Our home has a TON of windows, so we only did our upstairs (8 windows and a patio door) but are in love with the end result and will 100% be coming back to Sean for the 1st floor as well! It used to get chilly at nights during this winter period with our old drafty windows, but the difference with these new replacement windows are night and day. Now, our downstairs is freezing in the morning, while our bedrooms upstairs are nice and cozy. This past year we have had a ton of work done on our home. We have dealt with some of the worst and some of the best contractors in the industry. I needed the last 5 remaining original windows from my 1973 childhood home replaced. I looked at reviews for companies in the area and American Window Concepts had all 5 star reviews. They are well earned. My primary home is 200 miles away, yet Brenda kept in constant contact with me by text (my preferred method due to work). I was provided with a brochure to review window types so I was prepared for the estimate. Tristan came out and did a sight visit while communicating with me on the phone. I received an estimate that evening, which I found to be reasonable. The windows were ready much sooner than I expected. Sean was able to arrange a Saturday installation so I could be there. They arrived at the time agreed upon and set to work. They were very conscious of protecting the flooring everywhere they stepped and worked. It took under 3 hours to replace and clean up. As rain was expected, they covered the windows with plastic to allow the fillers to set. I could not be happier with the result. I highly recommend them. I heard about AWC from a competitor of theirs because I said I was interested in Anlin windows to see their options. I called their show room and was given and an appointment for a home visit the next day. Sean showed up on time and immediately started talking details on how Anlin makes their windows and the design his team would install. When I tell you that I do a lot of research on companies and products, I'm not kidding. I spent 3 more weeks, getting quotes from 5 other different companies, None of them matched the level of professionalism and pride Sean and his team takes in making sure AWC customers are 100% satisfied. He's not a pushy salesman, even he recommended to get other quotes to compare. Some of the other companies were so pushy it was irritating. Beyond great. Truly Exceptional !!! I called in looking for a replacement Anlin Window that I had broken this morning. Sean Answered the Phone! All of the Others didn't !!! The window was a common size and Sean said let me look, and called me back 3 minutes later and said he had one he could steal off another full window. He said text me your address. This firm did an excellent job of replacing and reorienting one of our second story windows. When their installer noticed that the replacement window had a flaw that would make opening and closing difficult. he pointed it out and made plans to get us another replacement And they did not require payment until the correct replacement was installed.
