Wow. Probably the easiest contractor I've ever dealt with. I got multiple bids for window replacement. American window concepts was on par of the bids we got. But the confidence and kindness we were given, the politeness. It felt like the way a customer and a business should feel. When Sean came up to take measurement, he took his shoes off! He listened, got the details. Sean guided me through every detail. Knows everything about windows. We then Knew who we were going with as long as price was inline. When the windows came.... The crew was awesome. Thanks guys! Thank you Rudy!!! They were installed perfectly. It was like going from analog to HD! Thank you AWC!!! From order to install, this is the company you wanna choose. I gotta say I love the end result, and I also enjoyed having dealt with these guys. read more

This is an overdue review. Start to finish, the job was well-priced and done professionally and quickly.

This is the second time I have used American concept windows this year. As long as I'm in the area, I will never use another window company. Both jobs were done perfectly. The crew the office staff and the owner are exemplary business people. I would never have a reason to go anywhere else. They're selling a quality product at a competitive price with outstanding customer service and installation. I absolutely love my new windows. This is my second review because it's the second house I've had them do this year and I'm just as satisfied as I was the first time. read more

If I could select more stars I would. Starting with Doug Saint as my salesman. What a wonderful, professional and kind person to work with! No pressure to sign a contract same day, encourages you not to, very informative without being overwhelmed. Doug provided timely responses to calls/text/emails and even stopped by on installation day. Always a smile in his voice and a kind word to say. The installers, amazing crew! Lupe, Will, Andrew, and Memo. From the first hello to saying thank you, they had smiles, kind words, were professional, fun to talk to, answered my questions, made a day of install fun. Listening to them interact was also fun; hearing how they spoke respectfully to each other, had good banter, and helped each other. I'm ecstatic with the result of my windows and when I would check on them through the day just kept saying what a wonderful job they've done and how good the windows look. I am so pleased and I highly recommend American Window Concepts. Call Doug Saint, he'll take care of you! Oh, and affordable, I did multiple quotes. Not only git a good product but was able to add on a couple upgrades. read more

I wanted to place 5 single pane aluminum windows and a sliding door. I choose American Window Concepts because I encountered their Youtube channel and was impressed with the level of knowledge that Sean, the CEO, demonstrated in those videos. They also had the best price of all the installers I talked to. When I met Sean, he was extremely sociable and polite. He took measurements quickly and gave me a quote in person. There was no pressure to say yes or no. He showed me the catalog of options and provided some recommendations. On the day of installation, we had two people install the windows and sliding doors. The job took about 3 or 4 hours, which was faster than I expected because Sean told me it could be an all day job. They were polite and cleaned up after themselves. The caulk they used to seal around the vinyl frame exterior is a clear type, which i appreciated since this makes the installation look much cleaner than my neighbors, whose installer had a dark brown colored caulk that doesn't match the window vinyl frame at all. Overall, I highly recommend American Window Concepts. They know what they're doing, and they're pretty good at it. I still watch their Youtube videos to this day since they're very educational and will no doubt help me with my next Window replacement in the very, very distant future. read more

We just had American Window Concepts repair our shattered sliding glass door. We could not be happier with their services. Impressively they showed up precisely on time at 8:00 o'clock. There was a team of 4, led by Angel, that came totally prepared and ready to work. They were all very well versed with the task involved and super professional with the execution. They were able to accomplish the repairs in a mere half an hour to our total satisfaction. We can't begin to say enough positive things about them and simply want to express our appreciation for a job well done. We would certainly recommend them to any and all. read more

American Window Concepts - Door door in sliding glass door - Windows Installation Near Me - Ventura, California

Our journey of window replacements started well over a year ago. We explored many different installation companies and window types and are very grateful to have found American Window Concepts. The journey: two initial companies that we called were extremely pushy at the end of the first meeting asking for a large deposit. We are looking at buying windows not a car.... One vendor would not provide a quote due to the size of our windows and their location on the 2 & 3 floors. Another provided a quote that was literally double the price. Doug was our contact and he was very educational and patient with us. We went through two rounds of quotes because we wanted to add more windows based on our interactions with him. He drove down from Ventura to OC multiple times, including for a preinstall walk through. Despite the distance he was never late. I respect this. He respected my time and this is the small things that matter to me. On installation day, the crew was courteous and their final product was spectacular. The finishing trim was done with detail in mind. A neighbor who used another company did not have this experience. Gaps in the trim and wall pieces are visible and done without regard for a fine finish. The Anlin windows themselves are doing a great job of keeping a temperature differential of 15-20 degrees. One evening we had 49 degrees as the low and at 6 am we were sitting at 71 internally. The sound benefits are equally appreciated. When choosing a company there are three components to explore: 1) sales experience 2) product sold 3) final installation. American Window Concepts excelled at all 3. I always use reviews but this is my first in providing one. I never found it worthy until now - that's what I think of this company. read more

Long Beach Home Sean and his team were amazing!! From the initial start of the quote via Sean, he was excellent at answering all my questions and concerns. He wasn't pushy at all and provided the quote on the spot! He was very polite, professional, detailed, and had an easy going personality. He has a wealth of knowledge and has done it from the ground up. He has a YouTube channel which provides even more info on windows and answers more questions and concerns. Brenda, who is AWC go to person in the office has great communication, personable, diligent, and easy going. Thanks Brenda for making everything go so smoothly. The job they did on my own my home is outstanding!!! The crew were efficient and took their time with the windows. I had 15 windows and 1 slider done. I'm a perfectionist and want it done right/clean (caulking interior/exterior/leveling) the first time and they did that 100%! Thank you AWC! read more

I contacted few companies regarding sliding door replacement. American Windows Concepts are local (Ventura County) for my parents so I decided to go with them. Sean assured me that they will be taking care if any issues. My parents told me after a day of the installation that there were defect on the sliding door handle. I contacted Sean right away regarding it and came by the next day even though they were closed. Both my parents and I are happy that they stand by their words if any issues that they will handle it as soon as possible. I am thankful that it was done and they don't have to deal with the metal sliding door anymore. Thank you Sean! read more

When I tell you these people can install windows fast, I mean it. I was told it would take about 4-8 weeks to get the windows ordered but it happened within 3 weeks. They installed it the next day. I had installed a sliding door; and every window in my house it took about 6 hours? Would of been less had the sliding door been a little easier to install. The guys working we're extremely friendly and informative about the ins and outs of their windows such as the warranty, the locking and the unlocking system... I'm overall happy with my decision to use this business for the revamp of my windows. My before and after pictures will show you that! Would definitely recommend! Great experience :) read more

I found out about AWC through Yelp. Brenda was quick to respond to my quote request and helped with setting up an appointment with Sean (the owner). From the first moment I met Sean, I knew that he wasn't just another sales guy. (Like the other window vendors I met with). He's incredibly knowledgeable about his product, cares about his clients, and is the greatest hype man for his install team. His install team showed up on time on install day. Such a fun, professional group of guys! They installed 3 windows and 1 huge back slider door all in one day. They even ripped out the old ugly wooden slats in the front entry for me. I've had the new windows for a week now and I feel like I'm walking into a new home. I've had several friends (who have also had their windows replaced) remark that the craftsmanship was quality. I would highly recommend Sean and AWC to anyone in the market for new windows. read more

Exec Summary: Hire Them! New to town and in need of new windows for our house, initially I reached out to AWC because of their five-star rating on Yelp. Truthfully I was skeptical that they had simply asked their friends write them high marks. I mean, who gets all five-star reviews on Yelp these days, right?!? Sean does. Sean and his team consistently earn five stars from their customers because they are consummate professionals. Seriously, they are awesome. Like, really awesome. (I should tell you here that my entire professional background is in marketing and customer care, so I am, frankly, a freaking harsh critic.) The AWC team met my high expectations with every interaction. They returned my calls and emails promptly -- and with a friendly, helpful demeanor. They explained my options honestly and thoroughly. They provided an accurate estimate. They communicated the plan and then delivered accordingly. Everyone on his team was not only pleasant, but also demonstrated considerable knowledge. Our installation was flawless and the new windows are incredible as promised. So without question you'll get a good window situation. You'll also get all-around FUN HUMANS to work with! Do yourself a favor and hire Sean and the AWC team for your next project. You won't be disappointed. read more

Sean and his team were truly the best to work with! We received window quotes from a few companies but ultimately went with American Window Concepts because we felt the most comfortable with his knowledge base on windows, the installation process, and history with the product (Anlin/Bay View). Sean was communicative and honest with the pricing and while their quote wasn't the cheapest, we felt that the range of options he gave us were the best we received. The team showed up right at 8am on installation day and got right to work. Both my husband and I work from home so we tried to stay out of their way. The entire crew was so courteous and kind, as well as quick. They replaced 6 windows and 2 huge sliding glass doors in 1 day! I would totally recommend this company to anyone in our area who is looking for window replacements. read more

Found out about this business through two neighbors who got their windows replaced last year, and were happy with the results. From initial contact to installation, the team at American Window Concepts was knowledgeable, responsive, and helpful. Our numerous questions were answered quickly (and patiently); it was nice that the measurements for the quote were precise enough to order the windows (other companies made it a two step process, with second person returning to do precision measurements); the install team worked with us so our cats didn't freak out, and they left the place clean! Five weeks to the day after we signed the contract, our new windows were in place. Also, the YouTube videos are great! Not to mention that the quote was about a grand less than another highly recommended competitor for the same product, warranty and all. Highly recommend Sean and his team! read more

What a great company! We started with having Doug come over to talk about our needs. He spent two hours (!) with us answering every question we had! The office staff was quick and efficient getting our order ready. Tristan and his crew did a great job installing our Anlin windows (5 windows, 2 sliding doors). They were meticulous, and cleaned up everything as they went. We couldn't be happier with their service and the quality of the windows. We live in the flight path of the airport, it is now so much quieter in our home! read more

Love my new windows! I have wanted new windows since we moved in 2015. Sean was just as excited for me to finally get them! Everyone was professional, funny and fast without loss of quality! read more

A bit late to the game with this review, but felt compelled to type one up because Sean and the whole team went above and beyond for not only us but our neighbor as well! I met with probably closer to ten providers before landing with Sean. I tend to try to do my homework and was still comparing different brands of windows. Once I landed with Anlin and met with Sean - it was a no-brainer. He is extremely kind, super knowledgeable and ZERO pushy. He makes sure to educate you and gives great ideas for different window styles/options for any given space. Our home has a TON of windows, so we only did our upstairs (8 windows and a patio door) but are in love with the end result and will 100% be coming back to Sean for the 1st floor as well! It used to get chilly at nights during this winter period with our old drafty windows, but the difference with these new replacement windows are night and day. Now, our downstairs is freezing in the morning, while our bedrooms upstairs are nice and cozy. And as said, after doing my due diligence on window providers and brands, our neighbor renewed all of hers with Sean too and couldn't be happier. I'd honestly give more than 5 stars if possible. The whole team at American Window Concepts are well worth it. Thanks guys so much, and hope to see you soon again! read more

These guys are fantastic! From start to finish everyone at this company was courteous and knowledgeable. They start with a quality product and end with a quality installation. This past year we have had a ton of work done on our home. We have dealt with some of the worst and some of the best contractors in the industry. Sean and his crew at American Window Concepts were one of the BEST companies we worked with. The last thing we wanted to deal with was a pushy salesman, bad customer service and fake promises. From the initial visit to the end of installation, Sean has been amazing. No games, no tricks- he just gets the job done and he gets it done right. He's upfront, honest and really looking out for the best interest of the customer. His attention to detail is on another level. I'm extremely picky and his installation and finishes are seamless. He was very respectful of our home, he covered the floors, furniture and even had shoe booties if he needed to walk around. He kept his workspace IMMACULATE!!! It was as if they weren't even here. If you are in need of new windows or doors, do yourself a favor and hire American Window Concepts. I got quotes from at least 5 other companies in the area so I already did all the leg work for you. No need to waste your time calling anyone else. This is the company you want to hire for all your window and door needs, you will be so happy that you did! I just had an interaction with AWC and I felt I needed to leave a review. I had Sean over to give me an estimate and I found him to be courteous and professional. I needed the last 5 remaining original windows from my 1973 childhood home replaced. I looked at reviews for companies in the area and American Window Concepts had all 5 star reviews. They are well earned. My primary home is 200 miles away, yet Brenda kept in constant contact with me by text (my preferred method due to work). I was provided with a brochure to review window types so I was prepared for the estimate. Tristan came out and did a sight visit while communicating with me on the phone. I received an estimate that evening, which I found to be reasonable. The windows were ready much sooner than I expected. Sean was able to arrange a Saturday installation so I could be there. They arrived at the time agreed upon and set to work. They were very conscious of protecting the flooring everywhere they stepped and worked. It took under 3 hours to replace and clean up. As rain was expected, they covered the windows with plastic to allow the fillers to set. I could not be happier with the result. I highly recommend them. I wish they installed in San Diego-I have a neighbor looking for new windows! Thank American Window Concepts-the most difficult part of this journey is just making the initial call. There was no pressure and I didn't feel pushed into getting anything I didn't want. We got 6 windows replaced and he was able to install them all in one day! They look absolutely beautiful. **10 STARS!!! I've done all the homework for you if you're shopping for new windows and sliding doors. I heard about AWC from a competitor of theirs because I said I was interested in Anlin windows to see their options. I called their show room and was given and an appointment for a home visit the next day. Sean showed up on time and immediately started talking details on how Anlin makes their windows and the design his team would install. When I tell you that I do a lot of research on companies and products, I'm not kidding. I spent 3 more weeks, getting quotes from 5 other different companies, None of them matched the level of professionalism and pride Sean and his team takes in making sure AWC customers are 100% satisfied. He's not a pushy salesman, even he recommended to get other quotes to compare. Some of the other companies were so pushy it was irritating. Now listen, I am a very attention to detail person, as in I want everything to be PERFECT, so ultimately after meeting with Sean and go over every little detail numerous times, I went with AWC. He even opened his showroom up on a Saturday so that my wife could look at all his products since she works during the week. I have 25 windows, many which are over sized or custom shape, AWC installed them all! Every piece of glass was replaced in our home, we purchased a slider with a dog door in it and that's a game changer if you have pets that constantly want to go in and out like we do. Day of installation, Tristen, Lupe, Angel, and Memo all showed on the dot and got right to work. Each one very skilled at the assigned job with installation. It only took them 2 days and all I can say is WOW!! Our house looks brand new!! We noticed the difference that night, Our heater didn't come on so much and the house stayed at a constant temperature. Sean made sure every little detail was perfect. If you're looking to get new windows, I urge you to take a look at American Window Concepts and give them your business. They take the utmost pride in their craftsmanship and are a small business so you're dealing directly with the owner who takes the meaning "Customer Satisfaction" to the next level!! read more

Beyond great. Truly Exceptional !!! I called in looking for a replacement Anlin Window that I had broken this morning. Sean Answered the Phone! All of the Others didn't !!! The window was a common size and Sean said let me look, and called me back 3 minutes later and said he had one he could steal off another full window. He said text me your address. So I texted him my address in Ojai and he showed up 20 minutes later, installed the window and was gone in 10 minutes. He came all the way from Ventura 20 miles away to help me out, on a Monday when no one else local to me would even answer the phone!! I was flabbergasted !!! Service like this is a rare thing nowadays! And when I see dedication to customer service like this, Attention to Detail and Personal Responsibility,,, I tell the whole world about it. This guy is truly exceptional and obviously paid attention to whomever he learned from. He gets my Truly Exceptional Rating of 9.8 stars! It doesn't get much better than this!
