First, I liked that this was a father-son team. Kevin and his dad were very honest, punctual, and professional. I initially hired them to install a glass wall for my shower. They did a great job at a fair price and I ended up calling them back a couple of months later to replace a number of windows in my home. I wasn't the easiest customer and I ended up having them come out twice to measure the windows as I stalled and tried to figure out what I wanted. They handled it all with a smile and they were patient and helpful as I tried to figure out what I needed (including new double-paned windows in some old window frames). They trimmed the molding and installed everything nicely. One of the windows was a very large picture window (6'x8') that needed to be tempered glass. The job was difficult because the old wood frame window was totally different than the new vinyl one and it was not easy for them to remove the old window, place the new one, , seal it, level it, etc... but they took their time (more time than they expected for sure) and got it placed and leveled perfectly. Kevin drove from Ventura to Ojai at 4:30p to come look at some old aluminum windows of ours that weren't functioning well. He checked them all and sprayed some WD-40 in the tacks (removing the glass panes to access the tracks). This helped A LOT. When he was done, I asked it what I owed him and he said there was no charge because all he did was apply WD-40. I was shocked by his generosity! He spent a good 5-10 min on each of the 7 windows that needed attention and I would have been happy to pay for his time, especially with the long drive to and from Ojai. I offered to write this instead because I wanted to at least thank him in some way. Kevin is a gem and I highly recommend him for any glass/window work you need help with.
